Re: Hobbiest writer with a story to tell!

Hi there!! My name is Danni, and while my main career is in STEM (Microbiology research, I'm in my undergrad) and I'm more well-known for my art, I also write in my free time! I'm 19, I go by she/they pronouns, and I live in Canada AND the US!
While originally thinking of writing my story as a graphic novel/webcomic, I think my writing skills alone are more polished, and writing a webcomic is... something else omG! So I'm here to write queer-friendly stories involving lots of magic and characters who just need a hug.
My main baby is called "Witchhunt" and is something I'll be posting on here soon and in my free time, but I might write some other short stories that have been dancing around my head as of late!
It's so nice to find an active community I can become a part of, I'm so excited. Very excited to meet you all too!

Welcome to Royal Road!
Think there were some stories that took a light novel approach and were mostly novels, but have a few images pop up every so often. For some it was just additional illustrations, but I think I recall reading a hiatus story that used it to actually convey specific scenes. Might be an option available to you, considering your skillset.
Anyways, hope you are doing well and that you enjoy your time here.
