You can get creative, or you can just post the description, image(if available), and your word count. But most importantly your Royal Road fiction link.
Note: This is somewhat of a first-come, first-served basis, as the earlier you reply, the more likely your description will be read first. This is why this thread for self-promotions is monthly based(to not overflow it). At the start of next month, we will have a new thread, and you can promote your story there again.
For Readers: Did you want more lists to find stories from? well... here is another one, give the stories a shot!

Currently sitting at about 400 pages, Hacking Reality follows a teenage mad scientist with heroic tendencies as she lives her life and occasionally gets dragged into a fight against either the supernatural or a super villain while trying to live her life, invent as much as she can, and deal with the voices in her head that feel the need to commentate on everything she does.
The Huntsman's Quest follows a young man after a traumatic summer in which he was forced to fight monsters to protect a summer camp full of kids, and focuses on his attempts to try return to a quiet life with his cop mom and fairy best friend, while exploring the magic he'd discovered from his two mentors, a money-grubby witch with a soft spot for kids, and the dark lord whose daughter he'd saved. Sadly a peaceful life isn't as easily obtained as some may wish.
I am working on quite a few things right now, but at the moment my two main projects are The Shard Legacy and Cyberworld.
The Shard Legacy:
After a bus crash results in the death of himself and all of his classmates, a boy who becomes known as Rikuo finds himself reincarnated within the world of Shara, a world with natural beauty and wonders, as well as various manmade beautiful sites as well. This beautiful world has an entirely new culture he will have to learn and master, and come to terms with, as they learn to live in this world. They all start to awaken the memories of their previous lives once they reach a certain age, but they notice that living in this world will not be easy.
Still, the beauty and uniqueness of this world holds some darkness behind this, and danger occurs as many of them find themselves hunted and thrust into various unknown dangers. And with lines being drawn in the sand, and the Otherworlders disagreeing on a course of action and what to do, not to mention how to do it, factions will form and the demons are not the only thing they will have to worry about, but each other as well!
And all the while, the gods influence are felt through their world, and how this legend all began with what was known as the Divine Shard. And this, this will be the legacy of all that and more. It will become The Shard Legacy.
The world has entered the next century, the twenty second century, and technology had advanced by quite a bit. Not only colonies, but Lunar and Martian cities exist even, and the stars have become into the sights of humanity. And yet, as this was going on, a new technology promises to help advance, unite, and optimize technology, a new form of internet and technology in one called the Global World Network, which would unit not just Earth but Luna and Mars as well. At least that is what was promised twenty years ago.
But the moment it activated, something went wrong. It did successfully connect to things across the world, becoming entirely self sufficient and ingrained within society. But then something happened, and incidents started to occur. Cyberspace became something that could influence real space, and a world parallel to the real world, which became known as the Cyberworld, was formed. And while people could use machines to dive into it, all children born after the GWN incident could end up having a stronger connection to it, with some being able to physically enter it, without the use of machines.
And at the same time, Viruses became able to infest and corrupt technology, and even manifest as creatures in the real world and cause chaos. As the culture of the future evolved and adapted to this, those children that were born, especially those that showed natural talent, came to step up to the bat, while others became the victims of cruel experiments to learn more about this threat.
Cyberworld cannot be shut down, not without destroying all technology, and potentially killing a lot of people. The world has been permanently changed, forever. Cyberworld is not a place of pure evil or danger, but neither is it a place where one can say everything will be all right.
But, it can safely be said that the world will never be the same again due to Cyberworld.
Read my story - A LitRPG that updates almost every day!
What comes after death?
A world split into three layers.
Heaven, Nexus and Hell.
The Afterlife is harsh, cruel, and sometimes downright unfair, with everything based upon luck. A world with a game system, which enables the residents to level up, and gain special attributes.
A tower lies in the middle of it all, named the Core, which provides passage to God, who will bestow on you your greatest desires. Unfortunately, to get to God, one must conquer 27 stages and battle against others wishing to meet him too.
Ikite, a young teenager, gets killed by a gang of criminals and reawakens in Hell with a different body and life. As his two new personalities meld into one, he becomes an 'Awakener', someone who has their previous life's personality sharing their mind.
However, he realises he has no combat perks, a bad class and a peasant's life in Hell, the lowest layer.
At first, he decides on a hardworking, yet peaceful life with his mother, but bad luck wouldn' leave him alone. Forced to journey where he doesn't want to journey, will he overcome his obstacles, change his perspectives, and climb the tower? Or will he sink into the lifeless state, just like many of those around him...
Kick back and relax with this book as it's your traditional LitRPG, with a twist or two here and there.
Hi all, I humbly invite you to come, read my story. It is an original BL fantasy fiction based on Indian mythology, specifically Hindu mythology.
Golden prince, Surya, kind and brave, bright as the Sun. But a darkness lurked in his dreams, eroding his soul, his fate "unforeseen by the gods, a path converged by the paths of the past, present, and future."
Vidyut, hardened by the cruelties of life, embraced the dark art of Tantra, for which he was both rejected and coveted by the people of the five kingdoms.
Would their love endure the wrath of forces, both good and evil?
Princes, Spells, Gods, Spirits, Heaven, Mythical creatures, Wars, and Reincarnation, and so much more. It is based on Indian mythology, specifically Hindu mythology. But it is an original fantasy and focus is character arcs. It is 170 pages long till now and I post about 3-4 chapters every week.
***It will have LGBT, specifically BL/Gay content. Romance is slow burn.***
If it sounds interesting to you, please check. Thank you!!

Every arcane gets one power, except for the reapers. They can take as many powers as they want, so long as they lift them from the bodies of the dead and the dying.
It’s a useful power that could preserve the best abilities among the arcanes – in theory. Thus far, every reaper has been too impatient to wait for the deaths of their comrades. Murder and neglect; the words are synonymous with reaper.
That’s how everyone else sees it. Pan, the last of the reapers, doesn’t think she’s that bad. She hides among the arcanes as a ghost seer. She’s content, with being the one and only reaper, not to mention a secret, until she meets a special ghost.
Edit: Sorry for the gigantic picture. I can never get the picture resize to work for me.
The Programmer's Dungeon
What would you do if you suddenly got transported to another world? Become a legendary hero? Make a harem? Heck, even building an ever-lasting empire?
Anyone would have dreamed of going to another world, free from all the troubles that the real world presents. But who said the other world was any easier?
This was a story of a certain programmer student — Vincent — as he got transported to another world, filled with strange powers without even a single cheat, except some modern devices with him.
“Who needs a cheat?! As a modern man and a programmer, I’ll find a way.” What he was about to say, but endless trouble would force him into becoming a Dungeon Master of a certain new dungeon.
“Fuck it! I’ll conquer the world, uncover the secrets of this world, and ultimately find my way back home!”
“Yes, Master. Your will is our command. We will initiate the world domination phase.”
“W-Wait— I didn’t mean it literally!”
What brought him to this world? What secret does this world possess? Follow Vincent’s journey as he uncovers all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps?
A dungeon story with the MC as the Dungeon Master.
CHAOS VINES ONLINE is a novella I wrote for a writing challenge, a semi-gamelit about existence and virtual reality and AI and stuff like that. I'm not entirely sure. But it also got a super special update for April, which I think everyone should look at. :D
Bloodshard: Stolen Magic is my Nano/writeathon project from last November which ran a bit long, finally done at 500 pages/137k, about a commoner who unexpectedly and illegally ends up with magic and has to infiltrate the nobility to solve a murder. I'm very proud of it and am particularly in search of opinions on how well the ending lands, as it's the first story ever I've posted all the way to its conclusion.
Presenting Shura Saga: Burn and Slay, a sword-and-sorcery action fest with wuxia and cultivation tropes!
"Walking away from a life drenched in senseless bloodshed, Raksha embarks on the Warrior’s Pilgrimage. In doing so, he strives to hone his mind, spirit, and martial skills, and he swears to abide by the Ancient Code’s tenets of honor and compassion.
He definitely did not expect to run into Sadea, a powerful sorceress who loves silk, jewels, and killing things for fun and profit. Neither did he expect to be stuck with her as they fight murderous mutants, vicious monsters, and demons.
She calls their entanglement a beautiful partnership, but it’s the last thing he needs.
Or so he thinks."
Run. Hide. Get away.
But she fears starting her life anew on another far-flung shore.
Christ. Isn't this ocean big enough?
Using her mind, she visit a a city that beckons with the safety of a thousand searchlights. Maybe hundreds of thousands.
How can one person be so mighty?
It must be a trick. A scheme cooked up by Death to get her to run further. Still, if true, Death could never blacken so much pure white light. She packs the few things she still owns, having run so many times that her entire life now fits in a single suitcase.
She calls a nearby airport. "Konnichiwa? When is there a flight to the United States?"
DOTS - The Age of Enlightenment Has Begun
The story of Chitra and the story of Bloom. One living in darkness covered reality, other, in Finitum, a virtual reality. They are one, yet separate. What would happen if that separation starts to disappear???
Basically, Chitra is a blind girl, playing a virtual reality game called Finitum, where she can see, and afterwards, something happens, I guess. Like it always does...
Well, it ain't happening right now, but later. Like, a lot later, but it'll happen... one day...
See my signature, but, Catecholamine is a term for a class of neurotransmitters, and this is a story about people who run cryptocurrency mining algorithms with their brains, for profit. Being a miner isn't always the best thing, but there are perks - namely that the brain-computer interface required for mining also allows a user to access the fully immersive NeuroWeb.
I'd appreciate it if you'd check it out and take the poll to tell me what the main character should focus on next!
AK – The Alchemy Kingdom
Karl always wanted to be a Mage. He was born in the Serion Kingdom, a fully pledged magic Kingdom. Seems like a perfect match, right? Unfortunately, no. He's just a commoner, working endlessly to maintaining the lifestyle of Mages.
On his 15th birthday, his last chance to escape from a miserable life was destroyed when he was deemed to have no magic potential. For thousands of Serion's citizens that would be the end of their dreams. But how could this story be any fun, ending like that?
Follow Karl and his friends while they tried to fight against the Kingdom's oppression. Will the system bend them to submission or will they break the chains of destiny?
Spoiler alert: After thousands of years, an ancient Magic system will be reborn in the small Caiset village.
What should you expect?
- Kingdom Building: For sure! The heavy lifting will come later, I promise! Foundation is important, please be patient;
- Epic battles: A Kingdom is not built without war and conflict. Who doesn't like good fights? Let's bring some excitement to this novel!;
- Multiple leading characters: Karl convinced them to get on the bus, but this is a very long trip and everyone will need to drive a little;
- Scientific Magic System: Especially Alchemy! I'm in no way trying to take the fantasy out of Magic. I just feel like trying to do something more logical. I'll probably stumble on a fine line, but I’m counting on you to keep me on track!;
- World Building: I’m using some basic concepts from traditional Fantasy Worlds and trying to add some nice touches to make it unique;
- Fun?: I'll try to insert some humor into the story, but that’s an experience we will go through together.
Lana dreams of becoming the most successful and famous Merchant in the world, a Merchant Queen. But she is just a common girl in a world of magic and mythic beings. Everyone thinks she is crazy for having such goals, even her family thinks that she is going for too much.
Follow Lana in her journey to become a Merchant Queen and watch her being rewarded and punished for her daring and innovative attitude.
Harbinger of Death
“Who are you?”
- Epic battles and War – It wouldn’t be a decent fantasy novel without some battles and war, would it?
If you guys have a passion for geek culture, like memes and pop culture fiction, and just want to have a short crazy out-of-this-world experience, check out my book. It’s got 4.5 stars out of 5 so far so... maybe it’s not that bad 😅
MAZE the endless quest
Genres: Magical Realism, Modern world, System
As all kids do, Hera wanted to be an explorer. Sadly when she turned 18 she discovered that her stats and lack of skills made her fail the requirements to become one, and she went to work on a bookstore.
That should have been the end of her story. But when she wins a lottery to have her level up she discovers a hidden skill and a rare one at that.
The system gave her dream back, and this time she is not letting it go.
The story is about a world where a game-like system is the norm, Everyone has a level, status and even skills are a common thing.
If your stats are good you can even become an explorer, someone that ventures inside a place called MAZE, a dungeon of sorts filled with monsters creatures and things that the regular world is missing such as magic.
The story follows Hera, a woman who wanted to be an explorer but her status were too low to become one. One day she wins a raffle that allows her to level up for the first time giving her the chance to achieve her childhood dream.
It's more about how things work and what you can do with them than about power or revenge.
The rhythm might be a bit slow for some but that is the idea. I want to give sort of a slice of life feeling to most of it.
Ain't A Hero: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21095/aint-a-hero
In short: A tale of about a down and out mage getting figuratively and literally dragged back into adventuring by his ghost-bound-to-a-sword brother and his brother's adventuring group. After some time, things caught back up in a strange mix of magic, tech, and modern aesthetics: Dragons, adventuring groups, scrap of super-tech, magi-tech, and reality TV shows.
