The only advice I can come up with would be that the names sound a touch repetitive. Most of them use "The X of Y" formula. I think it might look better if it was maybe stripped from some cities or kingdoms.

Thank you for pointing that out! When I can grab the file again on my other computer, I'll go in and mix it up. 

These look quite good. My only critique would be that the "sea" in the second map looks more like a marble slab (it's even got cracks) than water. Perhaps a little more blue would help.

That's a good point! I used a different software for that map and I should go in and change the color of the ocean. Thanks Parker :)

Outstanding!! I could never make something this rich! One question, is there a reason why the top one is darker and the bottom one is lighter?

I am a complete newbie to art. This was my first try at making something. This map is for my book. (It's newly published here.) I used a free version of a mapmaker for this. Well personally, it's alright. I don't need critiques. Just wanted to show my creation.
