I don't really have a holiday.

Holidays for me are just another workday. You get regular pay, holiday pay, and because it's technically overtime, you get overtime pay.
Some people celebrate with friends or family members or whatever; I work.

Lol, essential worker, shitty company, or scrooge backstory?

I also like getting paid extra for doing the same work, but with less emails to attend to. Especially if it come with replacement leave days from the more generous and/or desperate bosses.

My favourite holiday is when I get get to use up my leave on my own terms and clear off my remaining leave days in one go on a more substantial break.

A short Christmas story by Neil Gaiman:

Nicholas was...
older than sin, and his beard could grow no whiter. He wanted to die.
The dwarfish natives of the Arctic caverns did not speak his language, but conversed in their own, twittering tongue, conducted incomprehensible rituals, when they were not actually working in the factories.
Once every year they forced him, sobbing and protesting, into Endless Night. During the journey he would stand near every child in the world, leave one of the dwarves' invisible gifts by its bedside. The children slept, frozen into time. He envied Prometheus and Loki, Sisyphus and Judas. His punishment was harsher.
Ho.
Ho.
Ho.
