Re: Beta Readers?

I’m looking for beta readers for my Urban Fantasy story, it’s currently about 44K words (18 chapters) and contains strong language and brief instances of violence. I’ll send a questionnaire to fill out along with each chapter.
If you’re interested post a reply to this and I’ll pm you my email address.

A beta read is normally performed after the work is completed, before publication. Chapter reviews and critiques are usually done on chapters or in progress work. Just saying. Also, I don't think Royal Road requires readers to file anything special to provide this sort of comment to posted work here. It is done at liberty in the comments sections of each post, and by posting reviews. So you might specify if this is something you expect to be doing off site. Perhaps you are looking for a writing buddy.

Sorry I was unclear, the work is finished (aside from the post-beta edit) and my beta readers usually contact me through emails.

Filling out a questionnaire after every chapter sounds tedious. Why not just post the fiction, get the "beta-reader reviews", and then edit it along..?

I’d prefer not to post my work publicly until it is finished. The questionnaire was recommended to me during my research on beta-readers.
