Hey, I’m Muse. I’m in the middle of editing my first novel (anyone wanna beta read?). I’m really enjoying finding forums full of other writers to talk to.
The stories you’ve been told have made you brave—Watermark by Sleeping at Last

Welcome! I'm not sure where the best place to ask about beta readers is. Maybe either the reviews or assistance request subforums? Anyway, I hope you have fun on RR & your fiction finds an audience when it's ready to share.

Welcome!
Feel free to upload it (you're protected by copyright laws) so you'll have some reviews, comments and a lot of early readers :)

Welcome to the road! You can probably ask around for beta readers in the Assistance or the Review sub forums. If the story is quite rough around the edges, getting someone to beta read first is a good idea, avoid losing readers who get turned off by spelling errors or plot holes... though others here have gone ahead and posted as is, ready to correct as typos are called out, and that seems to work too.

Welcome Muse!
I was going to recommend just posting the story first and using RR readers as beta/gamma readers, but I am not an author and the actual authors who welcomed you earlier made some good points that might change your mind about that course of action. RR readers can be pretty harsh and have different, occasionally conflicting opinions that may or may not be very useful. But if you have thick skin and can filter the constructive from the 'less-than-constructive', I would still suggest just putting it up there.
Anyways, good luck and hope you have fun here!
