Re: Need help with character names!

As the title states, I need help with character names. More specifically, creating a monarch family. So the King, queen and they have six children (grown up children) I've already come up with one name Tobias Creed <- Creed being the family's surname. Out of the siblings, there are 3 more boys and two girls. I would appreciate any help that can be given.

What's up!

Well, I'm actually pretty terrible of thinking up character names myself, so I use a name generator to help me out. I'm not sure if you actually want to use a generator, but here's a link to a one that might help.

On a side note, I think Nathaniel would be a good name for one of the boys. Nathaniel Creed has a nice ring to it, but if you don't think so, I completely understand.

Anyways, I hope that something in this post was useful.

Good luck :)

Re: Need help with character names!

This name generator is pretty good. It'll give you quite a few good ideas from tonnes of different cultures. I use it a lot for my D&D 5e characters. I'd recommend using the fantasy surname generator for a starter. But there's tonnes of different categories you can choose from, including name generators inspired by present and past day cultures.

If you don't feel like using the name generator. I guess you could go with something like Rampossa, Julius, Constant, Henry, Bethan, Branwen, Cai, Anton, Sophia, Silvia, Synesia, Gawain, Seith, Wynne, Amatia, or Faenia.

The above is a mixed bag of nuts from Byzantine, Roman, and Welsh celtic names. But for the boys you could easily go Constant, Gawain, Cai. And then for the girls you could go Wynne, and Silvia or Faenia. But it's difficult to match old timey regal names with the surname creed. So I'd go with some from the above post.
