Re: Finished at last!

A writer's work is never finished

Finally finished plotting, scheming, writing, editing, posting, arcing, welding, printing, hole-punching, banging head against table...

There is a special satisfaction in printing out a complete story, 16 pages to a sheet, and sticking it all in a binder. Now I'll just need a magnifying glass to actually read anything.

Time to put it on a shelf and look at it again in 2 years!

For anyone else who has also experienced the delight of a finished project, what do you do next? Do you ever feel an emptiness under the sense of accomplishment? A wistful feeling for the writing process...?

Not many can start a project, even less can finish it.
Congratulations!

When I finish a project I feel a tingling sense of satisfaction, then I look at my to-do list and start the next item on it - who needs a social life when you can check something off the list.  peoapproval
