Re: A Few Forumish Questions, If You Don't Mind

Thank you in advance to any and all who answer.
1) Is there a way to tag people in forums? (an example would be creating a thread for Fantasy writers and wanting to tag people I know so they can join the thread)
2) I've met some cool people in the forum, is there a way to friend them? (I see the "Block User" feature, but that's kinda the opposite of what I'm looking for)
3) How can I get a book cover image in my signature to link to my fiction on Royal Road? (When I try there's no image and I end up linking a command line)

Sup!
2) As far I know, there's no way to friend/follow accounts, only stories.
3) First, if you want to use the cover you uploaded you need to right-click on the image and use the 'Copy image url' option.
For your story Cloudark, it will look like this: https://www.royalroadcdn.com/covers/cloudlark-full-AADAArXKqQ0.jpg
Next, go to the Signature Editor. There, use the Insert an Image option on the toolbar and paste the link in the dialog box.
Now's the tricky part. Highlight the line that just appeared in the editor and press the Insert a Link option. Paste the link to your story there and you're done!

Thank you for your answers (and step by step process). Checking to see if I was able to follow.

Thank you very much Antillar! Took a little longer than it needed to (and the perfectionist part of me hates that scroll bar), but it's working perfectly now! Not sure what I did different from before, but I'm not complaining XD
Cheers!
Cheers!

When I see that quote in your sig, Antillar, I am always reminded of this great, classic album - How The Byrds' 'Sweetheart Of The Rodeo' Became A Classic 50 Years After Its Debut

Book Two: The Premie Harvest
Book Three: The Ascendant City

You should definitely use the forums more as we are currently trying to get more people actively using it and its working. Getting some offsite details could be useful.

So there was a RoyalRoad Discord server but that's now closed to public bc a LOT of people were on it. Might be worth creating a Discord account and private messaging them to add them on there if you want as a lot of the members have an account.
That said, you should definitely use the forums more as we are currently trying to get more people actively using it!
Good to know Scarlust, thanks for the information! I'll poke about in the forums an' see if I can be helpful in that respect. Cheers! :)
