I am interested in reading some stories and novels and such that rather then featuring a tall, handsome, warrior male MC, instead is a shorter, cute male mage MC.  The mage is the most important bit, but im just tired of seeing the same old cardboard cut out types for male MCs: Musclebound morons who only use swords and fists.  And whenever a mage gets added in anything, they always make it female, or some old geezer who doesn't really join the group.

Its extremely annoying and vexing.  Well, it used to be only a minor peeve, until I watched Isekai Cheat Magician, and my annoyance got escalated greatly.  Seriously, they called it Isekai Cheat Magician, but all he was was a warrior.  All that magical potential, and the only gave the real magic to the girls that they layered on and layered on...

Right, anyways, moving on from that, that is why I would like to see male mage MCs who don't have some sort of super charisma/muscle body but instead are petit, and rely on magic, skill, and intelligence, and not physical power/martial arts/ect.  Have any good suggestions?

Well, as I mentioned, I was really mostly focused on the male mage part, since I am tired of male MCs always being made warriors/punchers/swordsman/ect.  

And although I am enjoying writing my own stories (especially the fight scene I just wrote for Reincarnated Boy's Tears), I would also love to read other people's stories.

If you're at all interested in romance-flavor (specifically BL), my Twisted Magic series is about wizards, many of whom are men, and several of which are short and cute. 

The MC from Chimera (*cough*) is a time/kinetic mage that has to rely on his magic to outsmart foes that are stronger/faster than him. He uses a blade, but it's only really useful when combined with his time magic since nearly everyone else he fights is stronger than him. He's definitely not a super muscle boi.

Warlock of the magus world perhaps?
He does have an AI chip and that's kind of a bummer, but hey, you learn to love what you hate sometimes.
It's a great magus story, one of my favorites i'd say. Try it out, if you don't like after a few chapters then there are a bunch of great mage stories around for you to try.
