When a new dungeon is born, it wants nothing more than to have the most vicious monsters, the most cunning traps and the most shiny of loot. There is only one problem, but it's a rather big one; it finished its first floor years ago, but it still hasn't been visited by any adventurers! In order to find someone or something to explore its floors, or perhaps just to find someone to talk to, this dungeon will have to go way off script. But it soon discovers that going off script brings problems of its own, and that adventurers are not the only thing this world is missing.
A shortish (40k words) story about a dungeons journey of exploration and self discovery in a devastated world. New chapters every 3 days. Cover made (poorly) with POV-Ray.

When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting.
The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory.
All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community.
The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol.
Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself.
A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.

This story is a National Novel Writing Month/Writeathon entry. The goal is to write it rapidly to completion as a rough draft at which point it will probably go to editing/Kindle (I.e. this story will likely disappear at some point).

Given this story's nature there will be no backlog, no patreon, no editing, and no mercy.
Thanks for reading along with me!
A young man stumbles into a deep, lost cavern, he seeks power and prestige, the ability to become someone, anyone, worthy of praise.
When he finds an ancient crypt festooned in jewels and precious things he thinks himself the luckiest man alive.
And then the lich in that crypt wakes up and kills him.
That’s me. I’m the lich. Honestly, I just want to go back to sleep, and there’s no one, no ‘god emperor,’ sect, or uptight martial artist that’s going to stop me.

However, as time passes, it quickly becomes clear that he is far more powerful than she imagined possible, even imprisoned. As his power and influence increase with each step they take towards his liberation, Lily learns that Rine has far greater designs than simply regaining his freedom. Meanwhile, dark and dangerous forces strike from the shadows, attempting to topple the kingdom and imperil everyone that Lily loves.
Can Lily afford to trust Rine, especially once she learns what he truly is? Can she afford not to as she becomes the focus of events that could doom thousands, if not millions, of lives without his aid?

- This isn't a tower climber story.
- It's written as a first-person narrative. Experience the world through the MC's eyes, thoughts, and viewpoint.
- LitRPG elements introduced in Chapter 5. Start increasing Chapter 7/8.
- The MC speaks a tad archaically, but it's simplified. Still, if your English is not that good, this novel may not be for you. Archaic elements do ease up after the first few chapters.
- The cover was commissioned for use with this novel only. Artist (Possible NSFW Material)
I want to thank anyone who reads for their time. Any feedback, reviews, or support is appreciated.
-It's a novel about second chance and time loops in a dark fantasy world. Is the story of a man and his struggle against overwhelming and hopeless threats, to save a world. -
When I was summoned to another world - I and all the other humans on Earth - to serve as a front-line soldier in a war against an invasion of nightmarish creatures, I knew right away that I was going to shit my breakfast on my pants. Especially when they said that with the powerful blessings of the Wizards and the Gods, they were going to turn us into superhumans and half-wizards, everything they said sounded like "you're a fucking cannon fodder!".
I was right. The war? We lost it so badly that all races became extinct. Me? I was a fucking veteran who survived until the end. Was I strong? Fuck yeah of course, I was, except... it was useless, I died like everyone else.
The bad news? When I thought it was finally over, I woke up when I was summoned at the beginning of the war, 14 years in the past. That, and also the fact that every time I die, I restart at the beginning of the war. It sounds crazy, right?

Zachary Trenner is a freshman at Burlington High School. Despite his mundane appearance and advanced course curriculum, something strange is happening to him. Every time he goes to sleep he switches worlds.
Portals are popping up everywhere, allowing access between Earth and the world of Vera. Now he must spend every waking and sleeping moment getting stronger to fight off the instance [Dungeons] opening on both Vera, and Earth.
But despite his best attempts, the governments of both worlds collide via the portal, upping the stakes in Zach's adventure.
Prepare for an RPG fiction full of magic, power leveling, adventure, action, a touch of romance, and the author's own dry humor.
When the modern technology of Earth meets the medieval magic of Vera, which culture will invade the other world first? When the army rangers of the United States collide with the members of the Hunter's Guild, who will win?
I took an professional personality inventory (through a community college back in 2018) and was categorized as a "double-checker." I'm never satisfied with the work that I complete, and never want to share it with anyone. But this book is a challenge to myself! As a general rule of thumb, I will only add to the story. I can't change or remove elements I've already included (unless absolutely, absolutely necessary).
An irritated Pokemon might tell you to stop what you're doing. An irritated animal will probably just attack you. Pokemon, for all their power, would be open books and a breeze to care for to any competent animal handler on Earth. After a fiery death, a professional zookeeper who never outgrew Pokemon games ends up in the world of Pokemon. The entire world is thrown onto its side.

I'm a (not so) humble alley cat that found a portal to a fantasy world. The system immediately gave me self-awareness and taught me the meaning of words. Now I can't seem to find my way back to my old world, but that's ok, because this world allows me to become a fearsome predator by earning levels and skills. Follow my journey as I wage a vendetta against the dog headed kobolds and any other dog-like creature I happen to enounter. Also, treats and chin scratches are used to bribe me into helping hapless cat eared people. Other shennanigans and adventures await!

Aside from his exceptional talent, his father is no other than the clan master and the general of the empire which is why very few dared to offend him or challenge him.
Everything had always been smooth sailing for Yun Ling however, never did he expect that upon his return to the empire from his journey would he discover that he apparently has a daughter waiting for him at home.

"Magic cannot create life."
This is one of the most basic tenets of magic. And yet, when Professor Adelyn Mackenzie investigates rumours of a talented prospective student in a small village in the middle of nowhere, she finds that he has managed to create the world's first living homunculus.
"Magic is miracle given form."
That is what Cadmus Guiles' sister always said. So, when she died, it was only natural for Cadmus to believe that he could bring her back to life through magic. Now, offered the resources he needs to pursue this path of research, Cadmus gladly accepts to go to the most distinguished school of magic on the continent: The Laurucian Academy of Magic.
However, the Academy is a place of intense competition, and only those who rise to the top may recieve the services and resources that the Academy has to offer. Cadmus believes that he can easily defeat his peers due to him already having broken one of magic's most basic tenets, but it's time for him to learn that talent comes in many different forms...
Every time I die I respawn as a trash mob at the very bottom of the dungeon. It's a rather troublesome existence but I think I've managed to adapt honestly.

Elaine is ripped from this world to Pallos, a land of unlimited possibilities made real by a grand System governing classes, skills, and magic.
An ideal society? What is this, a fantasy novel?
Adventures? Right this way!
A Grand quest? Nah.
Friends and loot? Heck yes!
Humans are the top dog? Nope, dinosaur food.
Healing and fighting? Well, everything is trying to eat her.
Join Elaine as she travels around Pallos, discovering all the wonders and mysteries of the world, trying to find a place where she belongs, hunting those elusive mangos, all while the ominous Dragoneye Moons watch her every move.
Hey! Beneath the Dragoneye Moons is my first writing effort, so please be kind, but don’t hesitate to point out the flaws.
The story starts off slowly, more like a slice of life than action-adventure, but it gets there!
I’m going to be posting M-W-F at first, but I hope to increase the posting rate as I get better at this.
I do know how the story ends, and I promise if it ever gets dropped, or I stop doing this, I will post the ending. There will be no random “this is the last chapter” out of the blue.

ALPHA-555-12-4412 (Designation: Star Conquer).
One of the 5 most powerful and advanced AI-driven Interstellar Weapon Platforms ever built, was programmed with a very simple mission.
Travel the stars.
Seek out new and hospitable Alien Worlds.
Establish a Forward based for their Master's eventual colonization.
And, If necessary, crush any and all native resistance it might find.
It was a Mission that Alpha took seriously and dedicated its entire being to.
However, when Alpha flies a liiiiitle to close to a Blackhole and gets sucked in, it is thrown into a situation that no amount of programming could prepare it for.
Now stranded on an alien, yet familiar world, full of dangerous beasts and strange phenomenon its database has no record or explanation for, Alpha must find a way to not only survive, but thrive.
And eventually to do what he was built to do.
Some things to expect from this Story
1): MC is an AI programmed with a very specific goal. Thus don't expect him to think or act like a human might. That being said, he/it is not bloodthirsty and evil either. He is specifically programed to work with, and indoctrinate Native species when possible. He is not a demon lord come to end the world as they know it, but a Conqueror come to subjugate.
2): MC won't be getting some kind of Humanoid form or suddenly start trying to think like a Human. Although an AI, he is perfectly Sapient, and fully understands both what he is and what is mission is. He is capable of adapting and changing his thought process, but at the end of the day, the Mission is what matters to him. He doesn't see the need or even WANTS to be Human. The only exception to this might be Humanoid body doubles or puppets used in places his main body isn't able to go.
3): This story is a mix of both Sci-Fi and Cultivation novels. MC with NOT be able to Cultivate themselves (for obvious reasons), but using his technology and knowledge, will be able to adapt and repurpose the strange and exotic resources you might find in a Cultivation World to increase his power and keep up with the powerhouses of this Universe.
4): The Intention of this story is to alternate between it and Parasite King, so I don't get burned out writing either one. As such, updates, while not slow, won't be to quick. Bare with me for awhile till the wheels get rolling.

Genre wise, this is a bit hard to pin down. it's technically a Xianxia (because cultivators!), but it also veers towards Xuanhuan and has more traditional High Fantasy elements and a bit of Gods and Monsters and All Myths Are (on some levels) Valid. It also has a fairly large, ensemble cast, so if multiple point's of view are not your thing I am sorry. It won't ever really be considered 'grimdark' by any real measure of that definition but it does go to some complicated and fairly places dark occasionally, which i will note in author pre-chapter notes when expedient!.
About the Author
I mainly write fiction for my own hobby, it makes a nice change from academic scribbling! I started writing this quite a number of years ago. It has grown somewhat organically out of a bunch of different interests in all kinds of Mythology, World Building, Drawing Maps, Archaeology, Anthropology, History and Epic Fantasy fiction into what it is today.
So i hope you enjoy the story and thanks for reading!
The cover is made by the author, using photos taken by the author.
It was just like any other day, or so I thought at least. The birds were chirping up on trees, clouds were rolling by the bright blue sky and Elves were dumpster diving in the alleyway.
Okay, one of those three didn't sound right...
I had a boring life once. Recently though, it has become less boring... to put it one way.
Finding a random Elf in the dumpster? Heh, must be a Monday.
A normal person would have walked by. A normal person would have ignored it. I must be a pretty weird guy, then. Now I have this Elf swearing her allegiance to me. What's next, vampires?
Better not jinx it.
(For new readers: LITRPG elements don't take effect until Chapter 10)

He has planned for this, with years of effort in the making.

With enemies, both monster and human, surrounding him on all sides, he draws on ancient powers that may finally provide the answers he was looking for all along.

Aiden Neve, a CEO of a construction company wakes up inside an Attack Ball that is headed on a course straight back to earth, and it only gets stranger from there. Updates every Friday.
Build a Dungeon. Slay Heroes. Survive Finals.
Wounded Army vet Logan Murray thought mimics were the stuff of board games and dungeon manuals… right up until one ate him.
In a flash of snapping teeth, Logan suddenly finds himself on the doorstep to another world. He’s been unwittingly recruited into the Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons—the most prestigious interdimensional school dedicated to training the monstrous guardians who protect the Tree of Souls from so-called heroes. Heroes who would destroy the universe if it meant a shot at advancement.
Unfortunately, as a bottom-tier cultivator with a laughably weak core, Logan’s dungeon options aren’t exactly stellar, and he finds himself reincarnated as a lowly fungaloid, a three-foot-tall mass of spongy mushroom with fewer skills than a typical sewer rat. If he’s going to survive the grueling challenges the academy has in store, he’ll need to ace the odd assortment of classes—Fiendish Fabrication, Dungeon Feng Shui, the Ethics of Murder 101—and learn how to turn his unusual guardian form into an asset instead of a liability.
And that’s only if the gargoyle professor doesn’t demote him to a doomed wandering monster first…
The day she turned 18, a breach in the northern sky flooded the world with unknown particles, altering humans and animals alike.
On her 22nd birthday, societies collapsed, and the monsters took control.
From humans to beasts, Amy Sullivan fights the nightmares behind every door and hunts the person who left her behind, the person who killed her sister.
Additional tags: Survival, Unreliable Narrator, Unstable mindset.
This story focuses on survival. Humanity is on the brink, so there are periods of isolation (namely the first act) where Amy struggles alone, and times when she fights to survive with others. I hope you enjoy.
I will be posting two chapters each week.
When you wake up in a new world, you expect a certain kind of… reception. So what happens when the perfect opportunity turns out to be the last thing you ever wanted?
The world of Ænerith is one of adventure—where anyone can cultivate to gain Skills or a Class. It’s a place where wars are waged over resource-producing Dungeons, and Monsters threaten deadly, otherworldly incursions. Grandest of all is His Majesty’s Immortal Academy: a mobile bastion and center of learning for the best aspiring Immortals of this, or any, age!
For one young girl, however, this world is far from grand. When her congenital illness leaves her without much longer to live, she goes down the only path left to her. Taking a mysterious offer, she uses a cursed Tome to reach across the Expanses—pulling on the only hope she could find.
But in the end, she failed.
Now, a poor fool finds himself in an unacceptable position. Worse still, the unlikable sod is stuck with no way out, all while something seems to be screaming in the back of his mind. If only he could hear the voice?
No, that would be ins—
Wait, what was happening again?
Okay, fancy intro done! I’ve updated it too, based on feedback (I hope it’s better). New chapters release on Tuesdays & Fridays.
A quick note to everyone: I’m a new writer and quality is rough in the beginning. It’s slow, introspective, uses bright colors (first few chapters only), and is something that I’ll seriously reconsider if I come back to re-write the story later (I won’t do so while the story is in progress). The length was overly long as well, so I split the early chapters into parts. I get better about that after chapter 16. Lastly, my story does use a lot of LitRPG elements, however menus and the like don’t start actively playing a role until chapter 19.
Still, all the mistakes helped me learn so I can’t regret it!
I will warn, however, that this story contains sensitive topics such as mental illness, self-harm, loss of loved ones, and body-dysmorphia. Please avoid if these are triggering you. Also, the sexual content tag is for language used, mostly due to the crude protagonist—who starts off very unlikable (that does change during the story, and his lack of agency picks up around chapter 16).
Finally, I decided to be a [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] because it looks like I can do that?
Texas Lawman Cash Renshaw gets pulled into a world of magic and mysticism that he never knew existed but finds himself uniquely suited to handle.
Alhambra Sheriff's Office Detective Cash Renshaw is about to wake up. He learns that there is another world out there where all the creatures of nightmare and magic are real. Not only that but he finds that he is a special type of person called an "Archetype" that derives powers from the collective power of human imagination. Now he will join his new partner in the Agency for Metanatural Investigation to investigate a strange new type of Runic Tattooing that allows normal humans to tap into magic powers, at the cost of their lives. Cash will learn that his new reality is as deadly as it is mysterious, and his first case might be his last.
Skills, Attributes, and Experience. These are familiar elements to any tabletop RPG. Jack is intimately familiar with these terms from years of playing games, so he is shocked and excited when the entire world is integrated into a system governed by those elements.
Follow Jack as he works to understand and navigate the new world around him. From heartbreaking losses to amazing experiences, Jack's life will never be the same.
A slow build, slice of life. Blue Mage MC who learns skills from monsters. Skills are not intuitively known and must be trained to be able to use properly. This is not a rapid rise to power story.
It's more of a pseudo-Isekai. As the setting quickly changes to a Fantasy one. (with elements of steampunk and sci-fi but not until much later)
The story does not get very adventure-y until chapter 17.

I have rewritten some of the story's parts and changed the characters' ages. For those who have been reading the story before the rewrite, please take note of this. :D
Raven had always opposed the traditions of their criminal organization, which made him lose his interest in becoming the next head of the faction. Upon meeting his end in an ambush, Raven was reincarnated as the third child of a peasant couple. Poverty-stricken and abused by lords, Raven began doing minor crimes. There, he realized a world of swords and magic, in its dark age, was a perfect place to found a new crime organization.
From being a peasant thief to becoming the most feared warlord, Raven lead the largest crime organization that had existed in the world of Altyria. He was then nicknamed Raven the Terrible.
Hey there! English is not my native language, but I am trying my best to improve my skill! If there are any mistakes/errors throughout the story, please point them out to me. I'm very willing to accept any criticisms as long as it will improve my skills! Thanks! Also, enjoy reading!
Also, I upload twice a day so please look forward to the chapters every day. Thanks! :D
Cadence Lee thought she was a normal girl, perhaps a little well to do, but not exceptionally so. She had her college classes, she had her job that her uncle gave her, and she had a nice boyfriend who was sweet if a little awkward.
Except, when a mugger accosts Cadence and her boyfriend attempts to wrestle a gun away from the criminal, Cadence ends up shot. A normal girl, with the kind of wound Cadence had, would die. Cadence managed to do that part. But a normal girl wouldn't then open her eyes again and learn that death is not as permanant for her as it is for other people. She can be reborn again, and again. Each time stronger and with new abilities.
The catch? Any world she is born into, she can never return to. She has infinite lives, but only one life for each.
So begins The Many Lives of Cadence Lee.
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
In this world, one must realize that we are not born equal. Intrinsically, the value of each individual being is unquantifiable. However, when we are born, we are born in many varying positions- sometimes at the bottom, sometimes at the top. Thus, we strive to reach a higher place in life. Though try as we may, we must realize our lack of equality. Only in death, are we truly equal. The young, the old, the rich, the poor, the humans, the animals, sane and insane, all find equality in death. This inescapable law, allows all of us to reach the same destination.
So what can be said of someone who cannot die…? Surely, they’d never be able to rest, they’d carry on about their life attempting to reach that end point that they were robbed of.

The research vessel he works on comes under attack and the scientists are forced to use the object of their research, a portal to realize faster than light travel, to escape. Staying behind to make sure the portal is destroyed so it doesn't fall into the hands of the enemy, Lex finds himself thrust into a world he couldn't imagine, and that's not the only problem. He is now a she, curtesy of the alien that fused with him.

Sometimes, a hero hatches from the unlikeliest soul…
Merl Sheepherder is a shepherd, as his name suggests. Except, he isn’t really a good one. He’s often distracted. You see, Merl can see things other folks can’t. For instance, he can see words and numbers hovering over buildings, and if he studies an item hard enough, a golden plaque full of scribble appears. Most every one of his friends, and his enemies for that matter, has three letters over their head. If you asked Merl what they say though, he won’t be able to tell you because he can’t read.
It doesn’t bother Merl too much, but it does his dad. So, when a wizard camps out in a nearby wood, his dad drags Merl to see him. No one could truly predict what happens next, after all, medieval zombies aren’t really a thing, and surely a simple farmhand can’t hold the fate of the known world in his calloused hands?
That would be unheard of.
This is the first book in the series Dead Server 7. It is complete at 200,000 words and chapters will be posted every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday until all are published. It has also been professionally edited.

AI creation is something that has been on the minds of the people for decades. The concept of artificial minds learning just like us. Maybe even better than us. This idea is something people have strived to make more than conceptual. But, they have failed.
This story will focus on the first few years after the first AI being born. We will see, from different perspectives, it growing up, and what adversaries it will face
Slow pacing, bad language, and several mentions of France.
Owari considers himself to be quite average, because of that he works much harder. He is an up and coming hunter and beast tamer, a person who tames magical beasts and uses mystical martial arts to fight alongside them. What their job entails is as diverse as there are hunters. However, in the overall sense, they are meant to protect the people and hold back the ever-flowing tide of monsters looking to trample humanity. Owari hopes to take up a job as he feels it is the only job that fits him, and he happens to be right. But how well does it fit him and how far will he go in this line of work where mortality rates are high and stories of success are not? Only one way to find out.
Author's Note: I have some backlogue chapters but they are slowly dwindling so I will be posting one or two chapters a day from now on, I'll update this note when this changes.
Ouroboros Ascendant is a story about friends you meet on the internet, and then spend entirely too much time together hunting monsters, doing quests, earning experience, and risking your life. Except for Jack, Erin, Rory, and Layla, the video game they play together every Saturday isn’t nearly as real or as threatening as the primal world of Ayrgard. A mysterious force has drawn them across the darkness between realms for its own purposes, and they’ll need to survive monsters, politics, and a lurking threat they can’t yet imagine.
Releases on Tue/Thu/Sat at 1815 CST.
On November 28th, the release time will be pushed back to 1900 CST. The Tue/Thu/Sat schedule will remain consistent. Thanks for your patience.
If you're hungry for more chapters, there's always Patreon.
NOTE: I just finished a large scale editing with the chapters. From now on, the world is no longer a 1000X Earth. I have added my original element. From here on, with a few exceptions, no similarity can be found with our Earth. Thank you.
The change has been applied from chapter 1. So if anyone finds any missed places or traces of my previous world-building, please comment and notify me.
Andel lived in a world where those with powers will have the final say in everything. In his world, having no aptitude to either magic or Ki means you are even worse than ants. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any aptitude to either.
His life should have been hell, but due to being the son of two powerful parents and descendant of a powerful family saved him from a wretched fate. Life was harsh, but Andel wasn’t one to mourn and do nothing. From his childhood, he learned all kinds of close-combat styles and martial arts, proving himself to be a genius at close combat as long as ki isn’t involved.
As genius as he was, there was no way he could match those with powers, right?
Andel had another identity. He was originally a person from Earth who got transmigrated after an accident. Moreover, during his transmigration, he also gained a system that gave him resistance to various things in exchange for experience points.
With the Immunity System in hand, Andel decided to finally step into this magical new world and make a name for himself, after spending twenty years in training.

Since childhood, Sorath has been able to sense emotions and hear thoughts of those around him. He is the first soul in recorded history with a psionic affinity, and he is either feared or laughed at for his abilities.
As an eighteen-year-old Hexblade, he takes on the King's bounty lists to pay off a half-million gold debt he inherited from his presumably deceased father. If he fails to make repayments, he will be taken into forced labor. If he flees, he himself will become a bounty target.
Outside faction boundaries in the lawless wild, bandit gangs run rampant, and Sorath quickly discovers that many of his past schoolyard tormentors and rivals are on the King's bounty lists—and that far more sinister influences are at work driving the kingdom's descent into crime and corruption.
A LitRPG set in a dark fantasy world with innate game systems.

A capricious master of the past is saved by an unsuspecting girl. When told to pick her reward, she merely asks for his friendship.
“If so, then I will be your friend. The best damn friend there ever was!”
As such begins the journey of a kind hearted girl and her capricious friend. However, the more they learn about the world, the crueler it seems.
Will the girl’s light lift it out of chaos, or will her friend’s hidden darkness bury it completely? What is light and what is darkness anyway? In the end, strength conquers all.
