Ian Dunai has been trapped in a nightmarish loop filled with contagion, captives, and decemancy for the past three or four years. In that time, he's become a master of decemancy with the ability to control dead matter, whether dried leaves, yellowed skeletons, or hulking corpses.
Little does he know, he's just been stuck on layer one.
Release schedule: Tues-Thurs-Sat releases (3 chapters/week) at 11:30 am EST.
Note: The Menocht Loop's first draft is complete at over 80k words. As an exercise in forcing myself to revise this draft in a timely manner, I will be posting a new chapter here every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The sequel is in progress and currently sits at about 60k words. There is not yet romance in the 140k words I've written of this fiction between both books, but it is planned.
Constructive criticism welcome. Alternative synopses also welcome. If you're interested in helping me proofread/edit, reach out and we can talk.

Down for a soft scrub down.
First 2 arcs are up. They might as well be a book on its own.
The story begins with an elderly hermit mage living on the outskirts of a labyrinth town. Invoking spellwork that is trivial for a mage of his caliber, he creates a simple mud automaton to aid him in household chores. However, in the middle of his efforts, something goes wrong; his ancient heart finally fails. Now, half complete and with limited understanding of the world, an artificial being of mud stirs. Despite its limitations, it has a mission to fulfill. The last instructions of a dying creator. "Defend my home, and my possessions." To the mechanical mind of Mud, only absolute perfection is acceptable when fulfilling the orders of The Master. Mud will make sure nothing in the universe will ever threaten The Master's home!
This fiction contains RPG elements such as skills and levels. The protagonist has an inhuman mind and acts on instincts and preferences that are completely different from those of a normal human, and may at times fly in the face of common sense.
The general tone is lighthearted, but there are some scenes with disturbing content such as mind control and references to torture.

Note to Readers:
This is not MC isolated in a new world. This is new world joins the multiverse. What I'm tentatively coining Subverted Isekai (Formerly I used 'reversed' but, as pointed out, that would be fantasy MC goes to the modern world. Hey, there's idea! Not this book though.).
There is plenty of scientific and philosophical stuff; I know that can be a turn off for some. It has a strong bearing on the story, but is mainly covered in the 'Comments & Calculations' section (optional reading of course). If you are looking for an extreme suspension of natural laws with no technical considerations, you will not find it here.
Audio chatter from characters that are not currently in the scene I format in "inverted commas and italics". Given the layered nature of modern communication, I thought this distinction was best denoted visually in my prose. Critique is welcome.
Jon is a South African ex-pat. As such he will use some Afrikaans colloquialisms plus a dash of Japanese.
Most importantly he says “Ja” meaning “Yes”. Pronounced with a J sound like “yo” and an A sound like “bar”. As in:
“Yo, let’s go to the strip bar.”
And not the Rastafarian /jya/.
Nee - /niya/ : no
Juffrou - /yif-row/ : Miss
Lekker - /lacker/ : nice, good, delicious
Nooit - /noit/: never
The rest is mostly swear words. Indisputably the most useful words in any language and simultaneously holding the least innate meaning.
Fok - “fork” without the “r”: fuck
Bliksem - /Bluksim/: darn, damn. Also common noun meaning damn person or thing.
Donner - “Dorner” without the “r”: originally meaning thunder, can also mean darn or damn. It is often used as a verb meaning: ‘to hit hard’
Kak - /kuck/: shit
Voetsek - /foot-sack/: go away
Jayke Cipher was, to his limited knowledge, one of the last people alive.
The apocalypse was not one that came slowly. When it struck Earth, it came swiftly. The monstrosities that roamed the outside world became an unavoidable hobby of Jayke's. Working from within a heavily defended compound, surveillance cameras and a plethora of subject material only cultivated an interest in strange creatures.
Survival became lonely. Sanity was kept by indulging offhand desires, fulfilling flights of fancy when reasonable.
When the compound is breached and all other options exhausted his only option becomes the pod. A mysterious capsule intended for virtual reality. Its producer, in light of the apocalypse, had released early. Months back he had ignored the last news broadcast regarding the pod and its promises.
He knew it only as suicide. But better that than being eaten alive.
A cyborg transhuman escapes corporate indenture and through cosmic coincidence ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp things, and malicious divine entities.
- No blue boxes!
- Hard-ish Sci-Fi
- Hard-ish magic
- There will be fighting occasionally, but this isn't a combat-grinder
- Generally trying to keep this "rational". Please call me out if I slip up
Full disclosure, the cover image isn't mine. Check out the full image here.
I put all the warning tags to give myself creative freedom, but I'm not going to write a story filled with gore or swearing.
This is my first time writing, other than for school projects. I put the gender-bender tag because I wanted to try writing from a female's perspective, and needed an excuse for why my MC reads a little tomboyish. The gender-bender fades into the background over the first few chapters, please don't let the tag keep you away from trying out my story.
Second chances are rarely earned, and even rarer given. Follow a new life in a new world, where anything is possible. Our MC wakes up, stuck as a baby, needing to decide how she will live her new life. Let's see what future she can forge for herself, when hard work is rewarded with status points and skill levels.
When Owen Westward dies in a bank robbery, he is given a second chance at life in a new world filled with magic, adventure, and mystery. Although he is out of his element, he will use his knowledge of the old world in combination with the magic of this new world to become The Traveling Technomancer.
Story is aiming for PG-13 levels of content. Tagged with Profanity & Gore just to be safe.
A strange visitor to our solar system grants extremely rapid evolution for all humans and creatures on earth. Fantasy races and beasts now walk the streets alongside superpowered humans. Governments topple, chaos reigns and tyrants rise as the world struggles to deal with this strange new future.
Amidst all of this, a former quadraplegic wakes up with the power to edit not just himself, but anything and everything around him... provided he can get ahold of the energy to do so. With former friends and new allies, Ryan Richards must do more than just brave the dawning of a new super-powered era of human history.
He must survive.
Frank is on his way to his D&D game when he gets caught up in a meth head's convenience store robbery.
While trying to escape he is shot in the back at close range and everything goes black. When he wakes up he's not in a hospital or the afterlife—he's in a different city entirely, one called San Tadeo.
Things are different in San Tadeo. Frank has a status sheet, and he can see people's names and jobs just by looking at them (unless they're walking in Shadow). Even more than in the real world, Cash Rules Everything.
With his real life behind him and his only friend a high-school weed dealer, Frank has the freedom to make new choices and set new goals. What does he want? He wants it all.
If you've always wanted a Gamelit set in a GTA-style world, here you go.
My current release schedule is three times a week, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Sam is a simple man with simple wants; mastery of powerful magic and the secrets of the universe. What's so weird about that?
This is not a grimdark story, though there are instances and chapters of potentially disturbing content.
Updates flexibly, currently being rewritten.
Welcome to Laria, where Transports from different planets find themselves living under RPG-like mechanics, with no memories of their past lives.
Follow our MC, Vince, as he navigates this new world in a school life/slice of life adventure as he tries to negotitate with different races and gods to figure out how to return home.
This will be a crunchy LitRPG with stats, classes, hitpoints, etc.
It will be a strong-lead. If you don't like OP characters, this book is not for you. He WILL struggle, but he will be OP given his level.

To be a synth is the greatest privilege an individual could be born into. What greater purpose or grander sense of fulfillment could one hope for than to be a tool of King Decon, the ruler of the Galaxy?
09T07 doesn’t know what more they want, but they know they’re missing something. Friendship? Intimacy? This seems to be the answer when they find others who are also not as King Decon intended them to be. However, how long can such things last among tools to be used and discarded? And how far are they willing to go to protect their loved ones in the face of duty?

Chrysa emerged from the ocean in a body she did not know, before a city under siege by darkness. Novais, a shining beacon among humanity, had drawn the eye of Queen Malys, a being intent on consuming all hope and light in the universe. Humankind's only defense lies in the hands of five brave souls empowered by otherworldly familiars, heroines known by the people of Novais as magical girls.
And Chrysa soon realizes she is one of their enemies: a servant of Queen Malys tasked with draining humans of their light, corrupting them into monsters, and ultimately seizing both the magical girls' familiars and their very souls.
Without the energy gathered from humans, Malys and her servants will perish. Chrysa must come to accept that her own survival hinges on embracing her role as the villain.
This story uses multiple POV (Young Adult Human, Alien War Veteran). It is a 50/50 Mix of YA Drama and Space Opera Sci-fi. The science fiction in the popular TV / Movie variety: not hard sci-fi per se, but with a balance of realism and fantastic elements.
Being a vanilla human in the twenty-third century is a drag. With no embedded biotech thanks to a rare allergic condition, Morgan Greenfield is somewhat of a social pariah. He's also just plain weird. Who drives a car with wheels, anyway?
All that becomes meaningless when a secret starship propulsion program goes wrong, and sends Morgan and a bunch of space tourists on an intergalactic adventure. What would you do if you found yourself stranded halfway across the galaxy, in the middle of an alien war? When the commander of the Maurian Empire hands you the keys to the most powerful StarFighter ever assembled, would you risk it all all to defend a planet you’ve never even set foot on?
The StarFighter Chronicles is an action-adventure sci-fi journey. It's written partially from a young human's perspective, and partially from the perspective of an alien warship commander. Awkward, angsty teen drama segues into the cold, harsh reality of life-or-death in deep space. There are also ship fights...lots and lots of ship fights.
In the Kingdom of Ferris, Mages are not born but made. Through might of magic and arms, Ferris has grown to become the most powerful nation in the known world. In this kingdom, a young boy named Vayne was selected as a child and trained to become an advisor to a noble family. His life was set, he would live and likely die as a glorified servant for those who would use and replace him with little remorse or concern.
However, when a vision reveals that Vayne is destined to become an incredibly powerful mage, only to die before 30 in service to his country, he finds himself at a crossroads. Will he follow this path and die in servitude? Will he see his life cut short battling foes for another? Or will he forge himself into the greatest mage the world has ever seen?
Feel free to leave any comments, criticism, reviews and so on and I'll do my best to address them. No need to worry about hurting my feelings, I survived Xbox 360 lobbies I can survive harsh criticism.
Xianxia-inspired progression fantasy novel, where the primary focus is on watching the MC grow and develop as a person and mage. As a note, it will be a slow process, not an insta-expert situation.
Release schedule is MWF

Second Remnant Series
Book One: The Dark Places
Trust gets you killed, and so does black magic.
Just as 17-year-old Seth Blackwell triumphs over his rivals in the local fighting scene, he’s faced with pain he’s never felt before. Broken hearts heal nothing like broken bones.
In the aftermath, Seth becomes a darker version of himself and falls for the pretty, new girl — Nicole Bauer — who participates in a world of bloodsport which he’d previously refused to tape up for. Taking her hand, he dives headfirst into the carnage.
Seth hopes that dating Nicole will help him heal, but soon he discovers hidden truths about her. Not only is Nicole pretty, but she’s also pretty dangerous, and now he’s on the run. Lured into a dangerous hunt where he is the prey, the only choices that remain are those destined to leave blood on Seth’s hands.
She pointed at the wall that the guest bedroom and Ben’s room shared. Seth moved over and began pounding on it, yelling for Ben to wake up. Nicole popped open the door and fired off a hammer pair of shots. The dull smack of bullets absorbed by ballistic plates resounded and Nicole leaned away from the door as return fire punched holes in the wall. Seth ducked.
“WAKE THE ACTUAL FUCK UP, YOU SLEEPY MOTHERFUCKER!”
Everything went pitch black, blacker than pitch black. Seth lost any sense of orientation.
Outside he heard one of the Hunters speak. “Nods down, boys.”
“Wait, why can’t we see?”
Book Two: The Dividing Line
You can never go back home.
Seth Blackwell is returning to his old life, and it’s nothing like before. The events of the start of the school year haunt him, he’s forced to keep secrets he doesn’t want to, and he can’t make things right with Emma. Even as he struggles to deal with his inner demons, a new threat appears, sucking him into a war that’s been going on for decades right under everyone’s nose. Seth must take a stand and make peace with himself, or risk the death of those closest to him.
As Seth fights for his life and the lives of his friends, he uncovers the beginning of a conspiracy that reaches far deeper than anything Nicole ever hinted at. Old friends bring new revelations to Seth as everything comes to a climax… One that may leave him with more questions than answers, and may end with the death of one of his friends.
Enter the world of the Second Remnant, where Seth must once again embrace his inner demons in order to survive.
“Fighter are you ready?”
No, no he wasn’t. This wasn’t right.
“Fighter are you ready?”
“I’m gonna beat your ass like the bitch that you are, Seth!” Shouted Jayson, barely audible over the thump of the music.
Seth glanced at the door again. He had to get out.
“Let’s get it on!”
Jayson stalked across the ring, guard up as he closed the distance to Seth.
The grizzly growled, low and deep. It appears you need to be broken before you serve.
The bears spread out to form a semi-circle around him. Seth reached a hand behind his back and gripped the handle of the cold-iron fighting knife.
Teach the whelp his lesson.
Seth exploded to the right, drawing his blade and slashing hard at the face of the black bear in his path. The bear stumbled backwards, deshifting into human form in less than a full second. The man staggered back, a deep crimson cut across his face, shrieking in pain.
Rip off his limbs!

All of these meant nothing to Jayden, she had been born too soon, her body unable to process the new technology. She was approaching the end of her life and had a choice to make. Deep Dive VR had progressed and real digitization and uploading was now an option for those unable to use life-extension treatments.
For all the science the Human race had developed, Jayden was forced to take a different path. She would be digitized and explore a new world. One where cultivation and dinosaurs blended together.
For those unfamiliar with my writing style, Second Chances was my first attempt at writing. I'm not sure how much I learned in the process, except that readers get angry when you mess with characters they like!
Warnings - I tend to info dump. I know I do this, I like slice of life novels that take time to unfold. So don't expect action, murder, and battles in every chapter, it isn't going to happen
I prefer the first-person narrative. I will do an occasional POV shift, but very very rarely.
I hope you enjoy the story, comments, ratings, and favorites are greatly appreciated!
The Bounty Hunter. A man who was lucky enough to get a unique class of his own. The class of 'Protean'.
I am the Bounty Hunter.
Earth as we know it ceased to exist, replaced by an archaic system resembling RPGs. I was lucky enough to get an extraordinary class, never seen before or after that. But the circumstances that led to me getting that class expanded the darkness already present in my heart.
Now, I fight only for myself! As long as you pay enough, I will do the job you require me to do. Even if it involves killing and looting the dead of their riches!
Am I evil? No! I like to think of myself as pragmatic.

In Goldfrucht, to have a title was to be. It was your very right to live. A child born without a title was swiftly abandoned to the wilds. Whether they lived or died, mattered not. Some didn’t even consider them human, the law barely recognized them as such. As a child, Kaizer believed it was his lot in life to forever remain an outcast, scraping by with the dregs of society. As driven as he was, he’d never be able to escape that fate.
Kaizer wasn’t who he thought he was however. He wasn’t who anyone thought he was. His ‘fate’ laid far higher than he knew.

[A WINNER of the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
Ari-os is a story about a 21-year-old woman who woke up in an abandoned lab with little to no memories of her past. Turns out she is in the future now and the world became a very different place from what it used to be.
Magic appeared in the world, changing it forever, and humanity created a way to control it, allowing people to increase their physical and mental abilities while shaping the world according to their will, but something caused civilization to regress, becoming a mere shadow of what it used to be.
In her journey to figure out who she was, what happened to the world, and how much time has passed, Kali will discover ancient ruins, fight horrendous creatures, find how humanity has fared in this harsh world and meet with droids that walk the land as remnants from the technology that the world once had.
In this story, you are going to see Litrpg elements such as a system with panels, skills, and stats (Although not inside a game, the main character has access to information about her growth much like an RPG).
Survival elements will be present but it won't be the focus of the story, but crafting and enchanting on the other hand are going to be quite prevalent.
Please, do let me know what you think in a comment or review, all criticisms are welcome. Also, English is not my native language so if you see any grammar mistakes, do tell me :)
Chapters of ~2700 words each.
Someone you love. Someone you hate. An object you just can’t seem to let go of. Every single one of these things gets a piece of your soul when you die, and the rest of that soul falls to a new world, one where it can be reborn once more and carry on existence as if it was an inhabitant of that world from the start. But what if your soul stays together?
Ontas Reilain has died, finding himself trapped in a purgatory until he can win against a seemingly unbeatable guardian. Fortunately for him, the place he’s trapped in is also the storehouse for every experience a soul has ever gone through. With the help of complete mastery over countless skills, he escapes and starts his adventures through the land. His complete soul renders him unable to use magic, but he remains among the strongest of the strongest nonetheless. Join him on his journey to meet new people, uncover new secrets, and maybe slay a few gods along the way, in this possibly god-awful web novel, that I hope you’ll read at least past the synopsis!
Authors Notes, read if you care to:
Please tell me what to fix and how to be a better writer, even if that means completely ripping apart my story, I welcome pain! (This includes telling me when I do something you'd dislike.) I now realized that the title is edgy, and need a better one, but don't abandon me! Thank you! Explanation mark!
(Disclaimer: Sexual content is not and never will be the focus of this story. The scenes will be few and far between, and only actually descriptive when they have to do with the plot. Sorry for the tag, but that's how it's going to be, so if you're here for JUST that, then I humbly ask you to move on.)
ALSO, no litRPG, levels, or super hard magic system that happens to have an entire encyclopedia to go along with it, so you only have to read one book at a time!

Hello dear readers, I have been always fascinated about novels like warlock of the magus world, end of the magical era(though this one has a ridiculous amount of filler), a wizards secret and similar novels, so began writing this one.
Forewarning: English is my third language, thus grammatic is not the best.
I also welcome constructive critiques. And if you find any errors, before you get eye cancer you can comment about it and I will correct.
i have begun to rewrite the first chapters. The first three are already up. In the following week I will rewrite the rest. Later I will post a chapter with the changes.
Chapter length is between 2k to 2.5k words. 5/week

Samael has lived her entire life in what most people would call Hell... because it is!
Fire, brimstone, demons, orgies of sins, pitchforks, and tortured souls—all that good stuff.
But Samael is clueless about any of that. Her time was spent in the deepest reaches of Tartarus, living as a wandering hermit with her devil father and the occasional visit of a naggy angel aunt.
Meanwhile, Sophia lives a peaceful life as a young priestess on a sacred island, mostly ignored by the world at large.
However, as her day is taking a turn for the absolute worst, an unexpected ally will stumble into her path and completely turn her peaceful existence over its head.
I do not own the drawing the cover is based on, by FionaHsieh.
A Kind Note: “The story is lengthy, so go easy on ‘hold your breath’ thing, okay?”
After being kicked out of home by her own parents, Emily found herself living in the house of an old woman while working as a plumber to help pay the bills.
Her slightly unusual but still very normal life came to an abrupt end one day when an incoming car crashed into hers.
When she next opened her eyes, she found no ambulance or hospital room waiting for her. What she found were instead the faces of beings much larger than her who were not entirely human, and the opportunity to live a new life, free of her old one.
This fiction is dedicated to a friend of mine who spent twelve years of her life hiding who she was because she feared the reaction of her family. For this reason it contains LGBT themes, although they won't be the sole or main focus of the story. The story contains sexual themes, but I will try to keep them to a minimum or make them "fade to black".
Chapters will be around 1000 words long and without a fixed release schedule, for the moment.
In short: Twins try to get stronger in a world without a power cap. Their mentor is tired of cultivation society and just wants people to be nice.
When a mystic has reached the peak of their world’s growth, they are able to ascend, leaving it behind in favor of a higher, more potent plane. Since the dawn of existence, ambitious prodigies have pushed the boundary of what seems possible, ascending beyond countless worlds in search for the peak.
Yet, no matter how high they climb, no matter how powerful they grow, there seems to be no end. Tens, then hundreds, then hundreds of thousands of worlds have been discovered, to no avail. Still, many believe that, come enough of these unrivaled geniuses, humanity will eventually reach its limit.
Kiro… is not one of those geniuses. However, his twin sister just might be. Secluded on a border world and selected for their talent in fire mana, the siblings are unknowing participants of a centuries-long experiment, hosted by a powerful eccentric on the verge of immortality. Follow the twins as they learn of and attempt to escape their predicament, before venturing out into the wider world(s).

A father and son get revenge by killing the Giant that devoured their family. But this unlocks something otherwise unknown to them at the time: Adventure Classes.
Now joining up with the ranks of the Heroes in the world, their realm gets a whole lot bigger, including the stakes.
Leaving their simple life in the woods behind, they become the Giant Slayer and Giant Eater, two extremely rare classes that will be the key to toppling the monolith evil that plagues the land.
With these new powers and responsibilities come consequences, and both father and son's burdens become heavy when they realize exactly what it is they've stumbled onto.
This is a LitRPG set in another world. There is no Isekai or VR.
This story switches POV's.

A hero is summoned to another world, vanquishes evil, yadda yadda, saves the kingdom and lives happily ever after.
There is no such hero in this story. Just a desperate youth with great ambition and very little to lose.
A zero to hero style story set in a country clearly inspired by modern USA with just as many issues and the minority of mages often pulling strings from the shadows. I am also hoping the whole thing won't turn out edgy enough to cut me. I want to rely on actual good writing rather than cheap powertrip gimmicks.
edit: Please don't mind Zetari's salty review. He is quite literally making up any use of the torture and human experimentation trope and says MC is blank after 4 chapters where he conveniently stops reading just at the start of his first character development.
For extra entertainment, I will be uploading chapters two at a time and compose a relevant poem through the chapter names.
