In the year 2057, the world has become a corporate-run utopia for the super-rich, and a hellhole for all the rest.
Catherine 'Cat' Leblanc is an orphan that is about as far from super-rich as one can be. When the Incursion alarms start blaring and the sky starts raining hungry xenos, it's just another blemish on an already piss-poor afternoon.
A cyberpunk magical-girl alien-invasion LitRPG.
It’s exactly as wild as it sounds.
The story follows Matt, a young man planning to delve the rifts responsible for the monsters that destroyed his city and killed his parents. His dreams are crushed when his Tier 1 Talent is rated as detrimental, and no guild or group will take him.
Working at a nearby inn, he meets a mysterious and powerful couple. They give him a chance to join The Path of Ascension, an empire wide race to ascend the Tiers and become living legends.
With their recommendation and a stolen skill, Matt begins his journey to the peak of power.
Chapters will now be MONDAY and FRIDAY AT 4:00pm EST.
This is a mix between LitRPG and Xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all Xianxia.
So no blue boxes and clicking +’s to get stronger.
What you won't see in this novel:
Bland love interests that immediately fall in love with the MC.
Murder hobos who kill entire families and clans for looking the wrong way at somebody.
Pacifist MC’s who wouldn't kill a single person to save millions.
Cartoonish villains who are bad just to be bad.
What to expect:
A MC who acts rationally.
World building that has more depth than ‘strong people 'stronk'. There will be no rules only benefiting the strong and no rule changes as they see fit.
An empire that actually cares for its citizens.
People who act and talk like real people.
A magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent.
Realistic fight scenes.
Born to die and be born again, Gell, the Jellyfae must discover her strange connection to the horrible monsters called humans, that speak with words she understands, but seem to want nothing but her death. Driven by a desire for safety and freedom, she ventures forth to Tread the Sky, and finds more worlds than one.
Eight Thousand Years after the Glassing of Earth, Terran Descent Humanity has largely become a post-scarcity society based on consent and enjoying life. With the discovery of another ancient race beyond the "Great Gulf", events and history collide to draw the Terran Confederacy into war against an hundred million year old empire that has always won and believes it always will. With allies and enemies of multiple species, the Orion Galactic Arm Spur will be wracked by warfare the likes of which have not been seen. Cracked, harried, wounded, and damaged, Terran Descent Humanity willfully throws itself against the universe itself.
"The universe hates you and will take away everything you love, laughing while it does so." - Terran belief.
A wiki is available (although under construction) at: https://fcgestalt.fandom.com/wiki/First_Contact_Gestalt_Archive_Wiki
Told largely from the viewpoint of other species, the story is currently ongoing. It involves graphic depictions of violence, war, adult language and situations, drug use, and other mature topics.
The story will be updated on weekdays, so keep an eye on this page for more chapters.
The story is 400+ chapters, and repeating characters do not start appearing until the Vuxten chapters. If you're in a hurry for repeating characters then this story will not be enjoyable to you. The interwoven plot is not based on a single person but the entire war, with its effects upon multiple people.

Humanity is extinct.
In their wake, they left behind powerful artifacts and wonderous relics, most of which are still yet to be discovered.
Alien life flourishes in the ruins of ancient human cities. Hundreds of distinct species and cultures. But they all worship the "Old Ones" as gods, for who else could have created these impossible devices: ships that can fly, droids that can think, and gates that form bridges between worlds.
One power-hungry Empire has learned to use these gifts to conquer and dominate all other alien cultures. With each passing day, they grind the people of Gaiam deeper under the bootheel of oppression.
But when an old, jaded thief stumbles upon an ancient, living secret... a new revolution may be at hand.
This is the story of The Last Human.
Death is a disease, and there is only one cure.
Tian, a Cultivator at the precipice of ascension, is thwarted in her quest for immortality. Defeated, she escapes to another world with Levels, Classes, magic, and monsters. She becomes a Lost Soul and her core begins to dwindle, but she does not abandon her goal.
Working with a group of rebels in this new world, she opposes the unkillable tyrant Galgom to learn his secrets. Against his army of machines wielding laser guns and laser swords, she will cultivate her new powers, achieving Feats as she seeks her antidote:
What to expect from this story:
- A rational MC.
- In-depth worldbuilding.
- No harems.
- Badass female lead.
Just a forewarning, this book, once finished, will remain up for a period of time before being taken down for Kindle Unlimited. Unfortunately, I won't be able to maintain three web serials with a consistent schedule for an extended period of time, hence my decision.
However, the entire story will be available to read for free if you BINGE BINGE BINGE!
Updates daily at 23:06 UTC.
2/1/2021 NOTE! This trilogy is being published by Aethon Books starting with book one on 5/1/2021. At that time, the book will be removed from RoyalRoad, and eventually, the entire trilogy will be taken down. I will post all of book three here before it is taken down, giving all readers a chance to read the story for free.
Magnus Cromwell kills for a living.
He’s organized, professional, efficient. Like a machine. But when his family’s life is on the line? That’s something else. That calls for the kind of warm-blooded vengeance that scorches earth and summons tungsten rods from space, leaves a whole lot of melted flesh, and no one to tell the tale.
It should've been a blue milk run. As by-the-book as it gets. With his sister Nina out safe and the opposition decimated by hypersonic gunfire, MC wondered where they got the guts to even try. Then something hits him. Lays him out cold, and leaves him waking up to a fantasyland with nothing but his armor and a half-written note to guide him. It's a strange place where even stranger predators eye him for their next meal. Where his life’s on a timer, and where the darkest horrors haunt his dreams, painting visions of death.
There's no right day to mess with Magnus Cromwell. But the universe sure managed to pick the absolute worst one.
- MC is stone-cold, strong(OP), and gets even stronger, but he'll still face his fair share of challenges, both internal and external.
- LitRPG-lite. No stats and an unconventional system. Expect abilities and progressions, but there will only ever be a handful of them.
- Science Fiction and Fantasy collide, with a touch of mystery, Lovecraft, and body horror.
- Professionally painted art scenes!
- This series will not be dropped.

What would you do if your life, memories, and feelings were suddenly tied to another person?
Six people. One life.
A spoiled prince haunted by a ghost. A big city swindler with a knack for illusions. A cold soldier with a sharp eye. A pirate with a few screws loose. A chieftain’s bookish daughter with carefully bandaged hands. A peacekeeping agent with an eye for vengeance.
After simultaneously knocking on death’s door, these six find themselves psychically connected across national lines. Tensions rise between them and between their respective countries, which are recovering from a long war over the mysterious vitae—an energy source harvested and utilized in weapons and engines called conductors. Loyalty, memory, and sense of self blur as conspiracies encroach.
Assassination attempts, underground weapons dealings, border conflicts, tales of terrifying beasts, and a terrorist organization called ELPIS.
—Everything is connected. Nothing is coincidental. The spark has ignited…!
Part I: The Converging Six [COMPLETE]
Part II: The Illusionary Six [COMPLETE / (Deep editing)]
Part III: The Fragmented Six [ONGOING]
In-depth blurbs for each part within.
Contains found family, magitech, parallel plotlines that converge, conspiracies, morally gray characters, Chekhov's guns, and a lot of character development.

Kade Wilson is a retired Cop and an competitive Gamer. For the last 4.5 years he has held the number #1 spot on the VR World Games List. And while he did not win his last championship game he struck it rich. And to top it all off he is approached to be one of 500k hand-selected beta testers for an entirely new kind of game, an offer that he is incapable of refusing. Now he is trying to make money, take possession of relict find, stop pirates from harrassing them... all while trying to figure out who is a friend and who isn't.
This is a work in progress and largely unedited. There shouldn't be too many spelling and grammar mistakes in there but then again, I am just the writer... Bear with me or contact me if you find something that is just too bad for you. Actually, I appreciate any reports of errors (spelling or continuity) that you find and let me know about. In the discord I have a dedicated channel for these reports. If you don't want to join... I do read the chapter comments. ;)
There is one thing I want to point out though. And that is that I chose to place this story in a LitRPG and game universe so it doesn't have to be 100% scientifically correct. Also: Clarke's 3rd law!
Rejoice our poor MC has awoken in the world of Pokemon! Now its time to exploit his game expertise and.... What do you mean he didn’t play past gen 2?! He can’t even remember his name?!
Well surely he transmigrated with some cool power or cheat system? No?
Maybe he’ll find some super rare OP starter? Don’t get my hopes up?
What about catching them all, Pokémon and ladies? Not his thing you say.
Sooo what can we expect?
Laughs, adventure, fun companions, great battles, multiple regions and a realistic take on the entire Pokémon world set 20ish years post gen 1. That’s something I guess.
Imaginary Interviewer: “But what exactly is the draw in your story? What keeps people hooked?”
Me: “Haha, I’m glad you asked nonexistent press figure. I think the strength of my story is found in its character dynamics. Readers particularly seem to love how the many game elements translate into a more realistic setting without losing that fun charm. Finally the whole thing is laced with a measure of comedy and satire that adds to the narrative without diminishing the occasionally dramatic or even political subject matter. While its important to have a strong protagonist, in this format its best that his story isn’t the whole picture. We’re exploring this brought to figurative life version of the Pokémon world in a style similar to a weekly tv show. Smaller adventures with deeper subject matter or theme exploration. Romance, Parenting, growing up, law, crime, gender roles, tourism, entertainment industries, economics, even genetic experimentation ethics. The Pokémon world in all its aspects is the greater narrative here. The readers are along for the ride with our plucky lost soul of a hero.”
He wakes up without being able to see, taste or hear. Or even smell! But, after developing an eye for himself, he's able to recognize two facts: one, he is no longer human, and two, he's not on Earth anymore. He's in the middle of an asteroid field, stuck on a moderately large one with nothing around him but endless space. Heck, he's not even in the solar system!
And now it's up to him to grow larger and stronger in order to avoid being eaten. Going by the leviathan-sized creatures swimming about the asteroid field, he has a long way to go before he can so much as try to live calmly.
Don't let the fanfiction tag scare you off. This only barely takes place in that universe since I like the basics of the lore and nothing more. It will barely feature a single prominent character, and the focus will mostly just be on the main character trying to grow himself out of danger, in the meantime denying the very idea that he could possibly be lonely.
The first few dozen chapters will entirely focus on him growing from almost a gnat all the way to a real asteroid-eater. After that, an actual story will appear.
Got the idea when I was reading the 2017 Darth Vader comic and my mind suddenly flashed back to that scene in the original trilogy when they're in some asteroid field and almost get eaten by a big monster. I loved that scene, and my inhibitions will no longer chain me. Enjoy, but don't take this too seriously.
The world has been assimilated by the Celestial Archives, a vast system designed to fight the forces that seek to destroy the universe. For most, it's a holy cause that rewards victory with stats, levels, and skills. For Hunter Gold, it's the start of a nightmare. Even in a system dominated by paths, he finds himself taking the road less traveled.
This is a work in progress. Major editing will be done after the book is complete, so there will be egregious typos and parts that make no sense whatsoever. Please feel free to point any and all of these things out. Chapters WILL get edited, and that editing might break earlier chapters. I will attempt to keep readers apprised of all changes. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated.
This is kind of something fun I wanted to write after reading stories like The New World, System Apocalypse, and the Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. I don't know how serious I will be about this story, but I just want to try it out. I imagine that it will become a love child between Fable, Diablo, and Devil May Cry. Enjoy!

In the Wastelands, if you were cursed by Shade, you were destined to be shunned, driven away, even killed on sight; you were a creature of darkness, of shadow, cold-blooded and unwanted. But, if you were blessed by Flow, you were the best humankind could offer, a role-model for any sapients.
Loke and Nova were born by the same parents, yet even though they embodied the two faces of the medal, they lived in the same dreadful circumstances, but what would happen if one day the greatest beings of the world decided that the siblings would become their Champions?
A Warning: There is an Anti-hero lead for a reason, and there should also be a Y.A. tag, but RR doesn't have it; therefore here it is. So, there's going to be blood, there might be carnage, but there will also be wholesomeness, romance, and affection. But most importantly, there will be Action.
About the LitRPG: This novel is a slow-burn, with a lot of character development, yet the LitRPG element starts in Chapter 3 and becomes more prominent as the protagonist evolves his Skill. Further elements appear in Chapter 38.
I'm not a native speaker: If you see any typos, please point them out, and I shall fix them as soon as possible. Thank you!

To be a synth is the greatest privilege an individual could be born into. What greater purpose or grander sense of fulfillment could one hope for than to be a tool of King Decon, the ruler of the Galaxy?
09T07 doesn’t know what more they want, but they know they’re missing something. Friendship? Intimacy? This seems to be the answer when they find others who are also not as King Decon intended them to be. However, how long can such things last among tools to be used and discarded? And how far are they willing to go to protect their loved ones in the face of duty?
Thanks to Julia Peitzer for consultation regarding gender-expansive and non-binary identities
Seems like I got a new chance. Better not fuck it up then, since I really want to see what it feels to have a family.
Power is pretty lame alone. Best used to build things and protect people. Did a lot of building 'till now, lots of research stuff and all.
Now, let's protect the people that I love and that loves me back. An enjoyable life with my loved ones. Whatever the cost.
Mufufu~~ What can I do, my siblings are so cute~~ maybe I'll try having children at some point~?
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION ^p^
This is an extremely slow reincarnation story, with heavy usage of dialogues and diminutive descriptions. Chapter are posted once a day from Friday to Tuesday. Each chapter is around 2k words.
The first arc, Life in Valince, will be at least 50 chapters deep, and the main character won't get to her 1 year anniversary over the span of this arc. As I said, it's a slow, character interaction, dialogue-heavy story.
Lots of feeling, slice-of-life etc, with some dramatic events that shape the rest of the story ^^
AND PLEASE, STOP PESTERING ME ABOUT JAPANESE.
this story contain a very limited amount of japanese words, used in context for a reason and that are part of the mystery of the world
And the bad guys use german (not because nazi buit because german is badass)
And there’s also french. Please be open-minded. I’m not a delusional weeb and this kind of thing, and it would be very appreciated if people could be more polite.
If you don't like it, I don't force you to read it, but a lot of people seems to like this novel nonetheless, so maybe you should give it a shot.
Lux's here! Yeah I know I should work on ToL and ToF but I had another idea, then another one.
So here it is. Story talk about a war vet that reincarnate and can finally know what it is to have a family.
I like engineering, creating things and all, so I'll try putting production scene in this.
Like all my stories, it's about love, be it with family, friends or lovers. I like my coffee with so much love sugar that half the planet would get diabetes. You're warned.
Also, the MC is quite OP, but I keep a progression curb and she still has things to learn, which she will eagerly do.
After all, curiosity is one of her main drives, with a thirst for love and utter hate of loss, be it losing a battle or losing someone she loves.
Ha, nearly forgot. CONTENT WARNINGS AREN'T FOR SHOW.
Sex, of course. I'll try to explore sexuality as a male, a female, and some other PoV that can't be categorised like that, not exactly. Also, beware the yuri/yaoi. I don't limit myself to straight couples.
Gore. A lot. Blood everywhere, guts spilling and all. I don't do censure. The Mc cut a wolf in half? you get the details of what is inside it.
Traumatising content. I dunno. No NTR, no heartbreaking drama. However, some of you may dislike the way I handle bodies and flesh. Got some feedback about body horror on my previous works, but everyone as a different border separating transhumanism and body horror. Mine is pretty high. How high? Go read The Other Labyrthin to have an example. To put it in simple term, I've no problem at all to describe alien bodies, change in human bodies, interactions between differents strange species etc. Expect a lot of tentacle, bio-incubator, spawning pool à la zerg.
Profanity. Well, I think you fucking got it in the very first sentence of this synopsis, ain't right?
THIS IS A WIP (work in progress)! Earlier chapters may get retconned or completely changed, structure of the story isn't set in stone, all the usual stuff.
ANY HELP IS WELCOMED. Want to throw me your idea? Shoot! Spotted an error in the text? Comment! Seen a plothole bigger than the impact zone of a nuke? I'll gladly hear you out and try to fix the problem (somehow ;-;)

Gateway is a portal/isekai style LitRPG novel, but it has two main lead characters and will eventually have a small cast of minor lead characters to support them. There will be elements of base building / kingdom management added as well over time.
Gateway really is a slow burn that takes some time to get going unfortunately, but I hope you find it's worth the wait.
I have thirty years of experience with various rpg's, crpg's, wargames, boardgames, and too many mmo's to count and hope to leverage that knowledge, years of reading GameLit/LitRPG novels, and personal experience to create a work of fiction that I hope you will enjoy reading.
