Humanity is extinct.
In their wake, they left behind powerful artifacts and wonderous relics, most of which are still yet to be discovered.
Alien life flourishes in the ruins of ancient human cities. Hundreds of distinct species and cultures. But they all worship the "Old Ones" as gods, for who else could have created these impossible devices: ships that can fly, droids that can think, and gates that form bridges between worlds.
One power-hungry Empire has learned to use these gifts to conquer and dominate all other alien cultures. With each passing day, they grind the people of Gaiam deeper under the bootheel of oppression.
But when an old, jaded thief stumbles upon an ancient, living secret... a new revolution may be at hand.
This is the story of The Last Human.
In a land ruled by vile monsters, where death is common and life is cruel, one outcast endeavors to have it all. While there are many misconceptions related to goblins, such as their horrid looks or lack of intelligence, their small stature isn't one. But, that doesn't stop Stryg from aspiring to his belief of greatness: power, destiny, and food with salt.
When fate drags Stryg from his forest home and into the ruthless city of Hollow Shade he must learn that some monsters live everywhere.

The world has been assimilated by the Celestial Archives, a vast system designed to fight the forces that seek to destroy the universe. For most, it's a holy cause that rewards victory with stats, levels, and skills. For Hunter Gold, it's the start of a nightmare. Even in a system dominated by paths, he finds himself taking the road less traveled.
This is a work in progress. Major editing will be done after the book is complete, so there will be egregious typos and parts that make no sense whatsoever. Please feel free to point any and all of these things out. Chapters WILL get edited, and that editing might break earlier chapters. I will attempt to keep readers apprised of all changes. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated.
This is kind of something fun I wanted to write after reading stories like The New World, System Apocalypse, and the Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. I don't know how serious I will be about this story, but I just want to try it out. I imagine that it will become a love child between Fable, Diablo, and Devil May Cry. Enjoy!

This seems to be the answer when they find others who are also not as King Decon intended them to be. However, how long can such things last among tools to be used and discarded? And how far are they willing to go to protect their loved ones in the face of duty?

A/N: This is a Dark LitRPG inspired by videogames such as Sekiro, Bloodborne, and Nioh. This story will contain fantasy elements mixed with historical, along with heavy body horror, violence, traumatic scenes, and tragedy.
On earth, he was a thief and a criminal. He was taken away to a different world, but after years of suffering he joined the enemy.
A traitor to humanity.
"I wish for a second chance."
"I will right my wrongs."
Ray was taken away to another world against his will. He lived in that world for 15 years and eventually became one of the strongest beings in existence, however, he had to betray humanity to do it. With regret, he gave up his current strength and transported his mind back in time. His mission? To fix his mistakes and defeat the enemy that he was once apart of.
POSTING SCHEDULE: Will try to post every other day.
WARNING TAGS: It won't be common, but there will be some profanity, sexual, gory, and traumatising content. The profanity won't be excessive, but it will be there. The sexual content won't be the focus, but it will happen. I'm not even sure if I need to put the gore tag because it won't be too bad, but it will exist so I put it on anyway. There will definitely be some questionable morals throughout the story, so that's why there's a traumatising content tag.
So, this story will have all four tags, but none of them are the focus or even necessary, but I think it will make the story better.

Hundreds of years ago, during a calamity that tested mankind in ways familiar and strange, an ancient being ascended. He became an Aspect, a cosmic power capable of felling worlds with a wave of his hand. In the aftermath of the calamity, he shielded mankind from the predation of other cosmic powers and gave them a foothold in the Age of Mana. Yet for all his importance, little is known of the entity aside from his title.
Where did he come from? How did he attain the power of an Aspect? What is his history with humanity?
A young man meets with the Father and an age-old pact is called. Instead of wealth, power, or fame, a wish for truth is spoken from the heart.
This is the Father's story.
The Urban Fantasy and Post-Apocalypse tags will be hinted at but not overt until the 3rd arc which starts at Advent 3.1: The Great Dream. The Gamelit aspects come into play in the 4th arc.

It's like Re:zero crossed with SAO, Solo Leveling, and Tokyo Ghoul
The world's strongest Hunter, Death God Hei, was the first to hit Lvl. 100. However, when he broke the System limit, he mysteriously turned into a zombie. Hei was forced to watch himself attack and consume the party he had fought alongside since the beginning of the apocalypse.
After being killed, Hei woke up as a Lvl. 0 again. It seems dying only brings him back to a save point now. Sick, right? There’s just one problem. The clock doesn’t reset until he dies twice. Once as a human, and once as a zombie. And when Hei dies, he’s still there. Still watching as someone…something else takes over his cold body and hunts down those he hoped to protect. Every time he levels up...he only makes his zombie stronger.
Thus begins the first save of the world's greatest fallen angel and worst undead evil.
Vol.1 First Save: Re:Live Breath Die
Hei does his best to protect the beautiful girl who saves him from the abyss, without leveling. Until a Secret Dungeon opens, trapping him and his girlfriend inside along with 1,500,000 Hunters. What's the problem? It's a one of a kind Secret Dungeon filled with rare skills and items right? Well, according to the memories of his past life...everyone in this Secret Dungeon died.
“This time I won't obey the System. I'll take a different path!”
Gore/Sexual Content/Traumatic Content: There is no rape(though such things may occur in universe, it will not happen to the main cast). By the nature of this story, the MC will need to hunt a lot of monsters, kill a lot of people, and die a lot. I do my best to avoid excessively graphic descriptions, but the things which make this story interesting can also be upsetting to some readers. Try the 1st chapter. It'll give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.
If you want to support the story, read ahead, or bribe me to write more, I'd appreciate you checking out my Patreon, but this story will be updated frequently (Thurs/Sund) for free anyways.

Technological singularity proved that utopia was an illusion, unattainable, naught but a dream.
The Mechanism Transcript is a sci-fi/horror series with a veneer of fantasy esthetics. I like to describe it as if Blade Runner and The Lord of the Rings had a bastard child that grew up in the attic. Never mind; imagine a world beyond technological singularity where humans have made themselves obsolete and lost their meaning. Then imagine what would happen if a hyper-logical AI wanted to give it back to them…
After creating an AI far surpassing any expectations, taking on the role of a god of wisdom and love, humankind made itself obsolete. But love can manifest itself in many different forms.
A man is plunged into an existance of strife and confusion when he is made the first to populate a post-apocalyptic world. He learns about himself and the apocalypse as we follow him in his travels through a world of ruin and destruction but also life and growth. Will he be able to ignite the spark of a new civilization, or will human nature doom the world to a state of perpetual chaos? Can he stay sane in his loneliness, or will he spiral into madness?
The world is dying, and the gods are fighting the godless over its destiny. Woman or man, king or queen, warrior and slave alike; they will all play their part at the end of the world—until the light takes them.
Catharsis, from the Greek word katharsis—meaning purification or cleaning—is the purgation of emotions, mainly pity and fear, through art or any extreme change in sentiment that results in renewal and restoration. This story is meant as a catharsis.
Reader discretion is advised.
"What existed before the Big Bang?", "Why are 7/11 taquitos so good?", and "What lies at the boundaries of our universe?" are all questions that have forever haunted the best and greatest minds humanity could offer. Questions which we may never hope to understand. At least, not until the ever expanding Multiverse beyond rips apart the boundaries we once had and absorbs our own little slice of Greater Space. In our return to relative civilization, how will humanity fare against the innumerable denizens of the countless stars beyond our own? Will we even survive our home planet, now refurbished with the mystical energy of the cosmos? John Mermous, house-husband-cum-author-cum-father, has absolutely no idea. But, if sci-fi space magic and annoying fairies can keep his daughter safe and reunite his family, he'll take whatever he can get.

Order & Fate: Rebellious Children is a series about a girl named Sumire Kato who is abruptly thrust into a world seething with murder, conspiracy, and drama. She must find strength within herself, rely on the friends she made, and uncover the mysteries of her home before doom reaches her and her loved ones!
Sumire Kato is an 18-year-old girl who has spent the last two years of her life alone in her apartment. She’s had little contact with other people and has no friends or family to communicate with. All of this changes when Sumire is invited to the Soteria School for Seekers, the prestigious school where Tenebris’s strongest study to become Seekers.
As she makes the most of her new school experience, Sumire is continuously haunted by her demons, which threaten to damage the connections she’s made with the people at her new school. Eventually, she is forced to face her demons in a big way when one of her new friends is murdered by an unknown assailant.
Sumire must overcome her past ghosts and find the killer with a clear mind and empty heart, lest her brother suffer the fatal consequences!
Thank you for reading Order & Fate: Rebellious Children! Here are a few things you should know before getting into the story.
First, the chapter-length varies between 1000-3000 words depending on the events. Admittedly, the first batch of introductory chapters is a bit of a slow burn. I want to introduce you to the characters before getting to the craziness, so if you're interested in wall-to-wall action and fights each chapter, then this may not be the story for you.
Secondly, this story is heavily inspired by darker shounen manga and anime such as Hunter x Hunter and Jujutsu Kaisen, with the fights and magic system in particular taking inspiration from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. If you like anime, then you'll probably like this story. If you prefer Tolkien-esque fantasy, though, then this story also may not be for you.
Thirdly, I have a decent stockpile of chapters stored, which I plan on expanding upon each day. Because of that, this series won't be dropped or put into indefinite hiatus, and chapters will be released daily unless otherwise stated. I've done multiple grammar and spell checks, so there shouldn't be any immersion-breaking grammatical issues. If you do find one, though, please leave a comment, and I'll revise!
Finally, while this is my very first fiction, it's also a first draft of sorts. I plan to have this story professionally edited and published, so any feedback is very much appreciated!
The story is also available on Webnovel, Scribblehub, and Wattpad.
"KITTY KITTY - The future that never was" is an adult science-fiction book series borrowing from different sub-genres such as space opera, space western, cassette futurism and cyberpunk.
KITTY KITTY has a unique and deeply retro universe. Because, in this uchronia, the Soviets planted the Red Flag on the Moon in 1949. Since then, mankind has relentlessly pushed its colonies to the ends of the solar system. It devotes all its scientific and industrial resources to it. This means that, during the events of "KITTY KITTY - The future that never was", its cultural codes seem frozen in some alternative 1980s. Floppy disks are kings and David Hasselhoff is the ultimate galactic superstar; Robots do all the work and the packs of cigarettes are cheaper than ever! Yet, life is hard. As humanity is expanding trough the Kuiper Belt and the New Worlds, the overly consumerist society is slowly collapsing because of the never-ending corpo-wars and the blatant technocratic corruption.
In this merciless cosmos survives Lee, the space Maine Coon, despite his ready tongue and his sassy feline comments giving him nothing but troubles. Fortunately, he goes along with "his" sapiens and partner : Ali, a violent and cheeky young woman who only swears by her Desert Eagle .50 and her oversized soda cups. Aboard their mythical ship, the Kitty, this duo of bounty hunters travels trough the faithless and lawless void, staging a succession of disasters and Betamax binge watching.
So… what are you waiting for? Dive into this strange future of punks cyborgs and flying shiny Chryslers! Bloody, irreverent but always hilarious, "KITTY KITTY - The future that was never was" will allow you no respite. Take a deep breath, and BACK TO BUSINESS!
"KITTY KITTY - The future that was never was" contains 24 episodes. I will upload the first 8, one by one, every Wednesday from January to Mars 2021.

EDIT (19/4/2019): This fiction will not be updated for a long while, I will however never drop it.
EDIT 2: I've now scheduled chapter 7 to release in 7 hours, I've got half a chapter left so by tomorrow that might be finished. What happens after that is unknown, I'm still busy as ever so it might be back to hiatus but maybe just maaaybe I'll honor NaNoWriMo by hanging on this month (even though nanowrimo is an impossible goal right now). My earlier edit still counts, cheers!
EDIT 3: Hiatus will never claim me again!
In an alternate universe where famous historical figures are all living in one era and musicals are their every day life, fourteen-year-old Marie Curie has been told that following her passion in science will lead to a future of flipping burgers and waiting tables. As hard as she tries, the arts remain an enigma to her. She is selected to attend Presley High, one of the most prestigious schools in the city, as part of a social experiment to help her grades. With budding geniuses all around her, she feels doomed to be forever an outcast. However, when she stumbles upon a secret which shakes the foundation of Musical Land, she realizes targets from bullies aren't as terrifying as targets from the president of the city.
**This is a historical (fan)fiction, so technically I don't own these characters/real life humans. And I also take creative liberties with them, so they're not exactly who they are in real life, but that's what makes it fun!**
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:
1. This is NOT a LitRPG in the traditional sense.
2. This is a story about STRUGGLE and HARD EARNED GLORY, not rainbows and lollipops.
Thanks for reading!
A young man who is ordinary in every way by the name of Noah recently moved to a new city in the hopes of changing his luck after a string of failed dates and losing his unremarkable job in pursuit of new opportunities. Noah's world does change, but not in the way that Noah had imagined it would in his wildest fantasies.
This story begins with the appearance of a fleet of unknown spacecraft arriving above all of the major settlements and cities of Earth causing widespread panic and chaos to become commonplace. The alien fleet is controlled by an unimaginably advanced artificial intelligence that oversees all activity on arrival, known as 'the System'. A voice that doesn't use words appears inside the mind of every living creature on the planet and labels them as 'System Users' and is recognized as belonging to the alien artificial intelligence, offering Users a path to power and immortality. The voice announces that the [Trial Phase] has now begun.
Shortly afterward, the sky became cloaked in fire. The dead began to rise again as demonic creatures that appeared as twisted parodies of what they were in life. Users began to awaken supernatural abilities that allowed them to combat this new threat at the cost of civilization as we know it. The System's motives are a mystery that must be uncovered as the fate of the world rests firmly in its grasp.
Does the arrival of the System herald the world's hope for salvation or is it the cause of its tragic downfall?
