Hero Beaumont was one of Arizona's most notorious outlaws. He was a bank robber, a mass murderer, a horse thief, and more. Any crime you can commit, Hero Beaumont has most definitely done it. Everyone feared him and his gang of murderous lowlives.
But then one day he dies and awakens in a body that definitely is not his. He has also awoken to a world that is vastly different from the rough, violent desert he had just departed. What can a simple gunman do in a world where nothing makes sense, and single mistaken step could lead you and the planet to oblivion?
Why, he'll do what he's always done. His very damned best. And when you're at the top Arizona's Most Wanted, well, your best is pretty damned impressive.
Book Two is now available here.
TRIGGER WARNING: Features a Villain Protagonist, so expect violence, swearing, and lots of mean stuff to happen.

- OP MC is OP
- The main character has some morals
- Wuxia/Xianxia elements (including flashy martial arts later in the story)
- LitRPG/GameLit world with game-like windows and game-like skills (e.g. Check Level skill)
This fiction will never be removed from Royal Road.
Even if I decide to sell it as a book or something, all chapters shall remain available here for free, and keep being released until the story is complete.
Pauses might happen if needed, but I will finish the story.
He woke up in the bowels of his crashed ship. His arms were gone, as were most of his memories. Stumbling out of the cockpit, the skull-faced man could scarcely anticipate just how mythical a living human was in these parts - let alone one with a custom body such as his.
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary.
After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens.
Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past.
As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it.
The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads.
Member of The Order of Phantasmal Architects.
Callum is alone in the States applying for a job as an engineer when the world changes forever. In an event called the Emergence he is changed into a creature of legend known throughout many ancient cultures, the trickster fox. Follow Kalia as she descends into villainhood, becoming the greatest thief in Penrith city, outwitting heroes and villains alike!
This story has both Cuteness and Heartache, so if that's not your thing, I'm sorry :). Also contains the temporary death of a side character, which is apparently something I need to warn people about.
(Originally wrote this story on a different site, but I'm trying out royal road.)
Also, I should tell you that this is only one story of an expanded universe that my friends and I are writing in. There is two other stories currently being written, including one that will play an important role later on. We'll see if they upload here too.
A Eulogy for a Fallen Enemy.
A city's supervillain mourns the loss of her fallen rival at a public memorial service.
Written from the Tumblr prompt: "Write a Eulogy for your Nemesis"
On a fated day, Seth ran into an old acquaintance, his childhood friend. There was a slight problem, though. The once small and cute girl turned into a tempting beauty and thanks to some misfortune, she was forced to find new lodging. Being a gentleman, Seth offered the empty room in his family house.
What the girl didn't know was that Seth was the incarnation of a god, the Egyptian god of sex and 'creator of all things', Khem. Although he was a very conservative person, not even he could resist the girl's tempting body, which finally unlocked his slumbering potential. The nobles in the city wanted the girl for themselves since she was a talented magician, but little did they know that the world was more than the city they lived in. Meeting one threat after the other, Seth was forced to leave his cover and come out of hiding.
Naturally, he wasn't the only god incarnation around.
(AN:\\I warn everyone in advance. This is a rather light-hearted story with quite a lot of 18+ scenes in it. If that's a turn-off for you, you're probably better off not reading this novel. The same goes if you're a highly religious person because you'll probably find yourself offended. This novel is mainly about the lead couple and if you liked my first novel, you're likely to enjoy this one as well.)

A thousand spells in your pocket, for a price.
So the email told Mathias, a creative teenager dreaming of freedom on a conquered Earth where magic is a resource to fight over, and a dragon despot rules the stars. The mysterious Magik website offers him the chance to purchase magical powers online, so long as he fulfills the requests of hidden benefactors. He accepts.
Now embroiled in a power game he barely understands, Mathias decides to do the only sensible thing: build a crack team of magicians, monsters, and would-be knights to take down their oppressive dictatorship. An easy Quest, right?
The cover was done by the amazing ChasingArtwork.
An inexplicable reincarnation into the magical world of Harry Potter!!
An avid fan of the series is born into this magical world with quite detailed knowledge about it. With his fore knowledge, he has the ability to influence the timeline or characters in many ways. Let us see how the story unfolds now …. after this new character has entered it.
All characters belong to the magical writer JK Rowling. I sole own Darius and let him play in the open sandbox that is Rowling's world.
A normal girl was given the task of traveling through different dimensions and completing missions assigned to her, only this girl wasn't that normal. Follow the emotionless Jean Turner as she navigates her way through all the hell and horror.
Starcraft rights belong to blizzard. I own the right to pretty much everything else in the book, including the Protectors, the Voyagers, the City of the Voyagers, the World of the Runes, the Dream Realms, and so on.
A young woman finds herself dead and is given the chance to reincarnate in another world with cheat-like magic powers. She accepts, only to find that this world treats magic users the same way hers did— by hunting them down for heresy.
My name is MELAS?! Like... Salem spelt backwards? Oh my God, and my mother is a Witch. I am SO going to be burned at the stake!

This is a rewrite of the original of the same name. I do not recommend reading the original as the original is discontinued and this version is far superior.
Disclaimer: The "Strong Lead" tag means "Weak-to-Strong", and not immediately strong. If you're looking for an immediate Strong Lead, then this story isn't for you.
Sam is stuck.
The Nalitokk have collected a variety of races, aliens of all colors, shapes, and forms. Of those, humans are hardly the most unusual.
In fact, ever since waking up in their clutches, Sam has been working hard to make sure humans appear entirely unremarkable. Years have whiled away as the inquisitive aliens have come to regard their newest test subject as defective. Damaged. Little more than a pet.
As much as it hurts, Sam knows it's the only way to keep surviving - for the time being.
But times are changing, and Sam can’t live under the Nalitokk’s radar forever. When things come to a head, Sam has to make some hard decisions about how to break free of their grasp. Decisions which change everything - from the Nalitokk’s view on humans, all the way down to Sam’s humanity itself.
With the Nalitokk hot in pursuit, Sam breaks free with one singular goal - home.
This is the unedited version. You can find the published version on amazon. It is currently on sale. Check it out.

Along the way, he will have countless encounters, and he will meet numerous adversaries. Follow him on his journey to fulfill the last wish of his master. In a dark future, the demonic Grim Horde rules most of the Earth, and Britain has just fallen. The last survivor of the island is the young wizard Soren Marlowe, the newest student at the Nagoya Academy of Magic. To all appearances, he is a normal enough young man, if a little girl crazy.
Little do they know that he's an exiled devil, one of the very same demons who helped destroy the fallen island! Now thrust into the middle of someone else's romantic comedy, Soren will need to think fast to keep his secret and, just maybe, find a little romance.
Note: I used to have the Mature tag on this story, until I realized that I was never going to go past about a PG-13 or light R rating.
Alone and without answers, our Main character must discover why he has been sent to the Star Wars Universe. With enemies at every turn, he struggles to survive and adapt. Sith scheme, Jedi hunt him down, Bounty Hunters want his head. He must learn what it takes to harness the Force, and forge his own path.
The world is broken and rotten.
It's supposed defenders are too weak willed to do what is necessary.
It's leaders are too corrupt to care for those beneath them
If they wont fix this world, then I will!
I will make the world a better place ..... by any means necessary!
Nice to meet you all. My name is Ginobi47. A lurker of fanfiction.net and now a writer of original fic. This is my first original work and I do hope you enjoy it!
Do remember that this is a fiction in the Superhero genre. Please expect the craziness that goes along with it.
NOTE: English is not my maiden language.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: As I went through the other fictions of Royal Road, I noticed that my style of writing style (slow release, 1 big post) doesnt work well in this site. As such, I'll be experimenting on releasing smaller chapters more often, as this seems to be how the authors of Royal Road does things.
Mind you, my release speed will still be very slow compared to others, but I'll churn out chapters more often than what I used to do.
ANOTHER NOTE: Some of my readers convinced me to set up a discord server. While I have absolutely no idea what to do in a discord server, but if you're interested, just join in and go nuts.
Suggest some storylines or characters, seek advice in just about anything or tell me your deepest darkest secret (you can PROBABLY trust me ^.^).
Feel free to do whatever is fun
The world has been assimilated by the Celestial Archives, a vast system designed to fight the forces that seek to destroy the universe. For most, it's a holy cause that rewards victory with stats, levels, and skills. For Hunter Gold, it's the start of a nightmare. Even in a system dominated by paths, he finds himself taking the road less traveled.
This is a work in progress. Major editing will be done after the book is complete, so there will be egregious typos and parts that make no sense whatsoever. Please feel free to point any and all of these things out. Chapters WILL get edited, and that editing might break earlier chapters. I will attempt to keep readers apprised of all changes. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated.
This is kind of something fun I wanted to write after reading stories like The New World, System Apocalypse, and the Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. I don't know how serious I will be about this story, but I just want to try it out. I imagine that it will become a love child between Fable, Diablo, and Devil May Cry. Enjoy!

“What is wrong with you!?”
That would be what anyone who knows me would say if they knew what I’ve done. They wouldn’t be wrong, as no sane person would ever quit his job the first chance he got when he saw an opening to follow his dream. To become rich and famous by playing video games. What? Did you think my dream wasn’t childish? The best dreams most often are. No? Well, maybe you just don’t dream big enough. Ever think about that?
Dreams are never easy to follow, and neither is mine. There are millions of players who want the same as I do, but very few would actually risk their future trying. Following the path of a Villain isn’t easy, and I have a city filled with thousands of players who would love to see me fail.
I will show them though. Just you wait and see...
This story is currently only posted here on royalroad. The only exception is an up-and-coming narrator names Agro Squerrils who I have given permission to narrate a few of my chapters on his youtube channel. Feel free to check it out if you are interested!
Disclaimer: I would advise checking out the story's tags. The story contains a low to medium amount of profanity. Read at your own discretion.
To stay alive, Jawad must succeed where all others have failed: he must catch the Prince of Cats. More legend than man, the Prince is draped in rumours. He can steal the silver teeth from your mouth in the blink of a smile. He is a ghost to walls and vaults, he laughs at locks, and Jawad must capture him before powerful people lose their patience and send the young rogue to the scaffold.
Ever the opportunist, Jawad begins his hunt while carrying out his own schemes. He pits the factions of the city against each other, lining his own pockets in the process and using the Prince as a scapegoat. This is made easy as nobody knows when or where the Prince will strike, or even why.
As plots collide, Jawad finds himself pressured from all sides. Aristocrats, cutthroats, and the Prince himself is breathing down his neck. Unless Jawad wants a knife in his back or an appointment with the executioner, he must answer three questions: Who is the Prince of Cats, what is his true purpose, and how can he be stopped?
The Prince of Cats is set in the same world as my other fiction, The Eagle's Flight, but the two stories are not connected. The full story has been uploaded. Information and a map of the city can be found here.
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations.
Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it.
Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.
