My name is Nicolas
Nicolas "Nick" Siegel.
People say I’m weird.
I don’t know why, and the voice in my head won’t tell me.
Oh well, never mind…
You want a cookie? I baked them myself. With love~💕

This is a story about an atypical player in a typical VR fantasy game, (re)written by an author—that's me—who still sucks at delivering synopsises.
Follow the adventures of Nicolas "Nick" Siegel, alias Elric Walker, alias the Wandering Knight, alias the Reckless Imbecile, alias...Victoria—Wait, what? Okay...err...Follow Nick Siegel, a young...man(?) afflicted with mild sociopathy and a worsening case of split personality, as he tries to make sense of the world around him and travels the virtual reality of Untold Tales, battling against undead butterflies, strange curses, and himself, and maybe find love.
I swear this is a romance!
(Previously: “Tales of the Blood Princess”)
Real reader's comment:
"World War Chicken has been fought. The area is destroyed, blood has been spilled, and the wrecks of the machines of war lay scattered. Mothers have cried, children have been traumatized, and only holy fire can burn away the foul creations spawned in its wake.
Oh, and a grown man made a complete fool of himself."
– by Dosahder, at chapter B0-C07.1
"Saying it starts slow is kind of inaccurate. It's more like a long rope attached to a speeding car. Eventually the slack in the line runs out and you're hooked."

The humans of Astalon have always wondered what lay beyond their home. At night, the skies give all that observe a reason to ask that question. In midst of the stars, beyond the moon and the edge of the world, what is there to see? What wonders await?
In the place after the world, in the great Beyond, what could possibly be lurking? With the answer came Convergence; the merging of worlds.
Astalon. Caereith. Ibbeathis. Kalsdyn. Ilbithar. Blackrend. Cassima. Ooum. The Everfrost.
Nine names. Nine realms.
Brought together in a single, great collision, nine of the uncountable number of realms in Beyond are destined to converge and eventually become one. In this mess, one boy immediately finds his life thrown into disarray with the entry of a mysterious plane-crosser. A girl—an Amarid from Caereith that has accidentally found herself crossing into Astalon, and straight into a collision course with Theodore Auric's life.
Now armed with his quill, a notebook, and an unlikely friendship, Theo raises fate a single question.
What could possibly go wrong?
A long time player of a Sci-Fi VRMMO was waiting anxiously for the new big update that was going to add countless new systems to explore and even rumored new game elements.
After living decades and dying hundreds of times, Kegan has learned that he has finally passed some test that the cruel spirit had given him. Now, Kegan has the ability to gain “perks” that can make his life much easier. He is looking forward to finally having an easy life with the new perks he has earned.
Rules to keep me honest for the perk system:Spoiler: Spoiler1. The purpose of perks is to help the MC live longer and do new things each life.2. The perks can be unlocked by getting hurt or killed.3. The perks can be unlocked by putting in a lot of effort that isn’t easily duplicated in a new life.4. Perks are generally beneficial enhancements to the MC’s body.5. Perk costs can be lowered with more impressive achievements to unlock them.6. Perk costs can be lowered by repeated death or injury from something the perk protects against.7. Perk costs are increased for quality of life improvements that don’t benefit survival.
I want to avoid one of the pitfalls I see for other LitRPG stories where the game elements barely relate to the story, or offer very little information. If people are skipping over and not reading the perks then I'm doing things wrong. So I promise to try and make the perks interesting, sometimes humorous, informative, and relevant to the story.

A modern man finds himself reincarnated in the body of a young slave with no skills and quickly fading memories. Follow his journey to find normalcy while living in a savage world, filled with myth and legends, monsters and Demons. In a land where the strong rule, the weak serve, and bloodshed is a way of life, peace is a luxury few can afford.
Author's note: Expect a chapter every tues/thurs/sun, unless I start writing faster. The story is eastern themed, but not Xianxia, no chasing immortality, MC is not OP. Less action, more character and world driven is my aim. Mature language and themes, but no raunchy sex. It's my first story, constructive criticism would be appreciated.
The Earth is changing. Aliens invaded, bringing with them social upheaval, advanced technology and an armada of peacekeeping robots. But Alan, a college student pursuing a now-useless degree, cares little about all of this. He has only one thing on his mind: the Game.
A fully immersive virtual reality, the Game appears to be a major part of the invading civilization. And Alan can't wait to play. Soon though, he realizes the Game is anything but simple, and the stakes are higher than he ever imagined.
A group of excellent litRPG fictions on RRL!
The first book is now out on Amazon!
Pan was an ordinary boy, practicing to become a mage's apprentice. He lived at home, and worked for his parents. Until the day his family is attacked by a rogue necromancer and killed. Pan is kidnapped by the mage for his affinity for magic, and in a bizarre ritual, Pan's consciousness is transferred into a dungeon stone and bound by the necromancer to serve him and create an army of skeletons.
Now Pan has to find a way to escape the magical clutches of the rogue mage, and if he can accomplish that, survive.
Sci-fi dungeon crawler.
Set in the far future when humanity has reached the stars and finds it is not the first to do so. Alien technology has been left behind by a long dead race. Ancient cities, abandoned starships, temples and fortified bunkers all contain artefacts and devices far in advance of what humans have been able to produce. Technology that feels more akin to magic, so powerful it can allow a single person to dominate a star system. But these relics of another time have been left well-defended and behind bewildering and impenetrable security measures.
There are those who are compatible with the alien technology, who can augment themselves to face the evermore extreme protocols in the depths of the alien ruins, and by doing so attain greater power. And there are those who just want to sell what they find to the highest bidder.
The rewards are high, but you have to be prepared to go further and risk more to discover the greatest secrets of a civilisation that vanished long before the first human walked upright. Secrets that could irrevocably change humanity's future, or end it.
"Do you want to live forever?"
The answer to this question is usually yes, despite the seemingly endless stream of cautionary tales based off such an offer. But really, who can say no to an offer of immortality? To never grow old, to never get sick, to never die...
Once, Evren was a man who would have easily accepted such an offer. Once, he believed that he could never grow bored of living in a world so full of life, adventure, and mystery. So when he recieved a seemingly-miraculous offer from an ancient being, he didn't hesitate to accept.
But every deal has a price, no gift comes without strings attached, and some might say that immortality is the greatest gift of all. Not Evren, though.
No, for Evren, immortality is naught but a curse that he desperately hopes to be rid of- No matter the cost.
What do you do when you find yourself the sole survivor of the complete destruction of Earth? Nikola winds up in that position, disembodied in a half-built asteroid outpost, the last remnant and only hope of the human race. Nikola exists now only in digital form, controlling drones and cameras to interact with the world. But Nikola's memories are fractured, and there are endless obstacles between awakening as a glorified computer program and saving the species. Is Nikola even human anymore? Is it even possible to resurrect humanity?
A chimera slowly regains memories of its past life as a human in a nonmagical world. While he is in part James Borland, temp office worker who was on the verge of being converted to permanent, he is also a savage beast who gains strength by consuming flesh of various creatures.
The more he remembers, the larger the effect his old persona has on his actions, which is often at odds with his instincts as a beast that seeks only to consume prey to become stronger.
Updates: Chimera will updatetwo to three times each week.

Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state.
But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people.
Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church.
It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family.
That was all he wanted. Simple.
It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his.

Ever been a god? Well, I was!
Until I died.... and got judged by the other gods! Apparently, they didn't like the whole "My Faith is the only true one!" idea.
Oh, and for the record: The Apocalypse wasn't intentional ok? In my defense, I want it to be known that my enemies threw the first stone and the whole 'Offer the other cheek' just isn't my thing.
Seems like, for punishment, I get sent onto a vacation! ….or so I hope?
It's here, a rewrite? Yes! I would like to think that this version will have better grammar, better jokes, hopefully, everything better. Since it was my first work and started solely to improve my English, the grammar always caused me headaches when I looked at it.
Well, and there are the plotholes which appeared with the whole multiverse thing that came with my other works... Let's just say that the first one was never written with the idea of turning it into a series.
So let's get a shovel and fill-up the plot so that hapless readers won't fall into those pitch-black pits. They might break a knee! Or worse, vanish forever.
And now the disclaimer everyone knows:
I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)

About a boy who isn’t quite normal and doesn’t see himself as a human being, but is taught differently as he finds out about the world's secrets. Though not everyone is happy about his existence.
This is inteded to evolve into a full blown space opera with elements of magic thrown into it.
The OneShot goes FullStory. Trying to go a little more SciFi and alternate reality this time.
I am not entirely sure how this fiction will turn out. And I am not sure on the tags either. They may change. Bear with it.
As always, how chapters turn out is up to my mood.
The gods have been known, in times of great need, to summon a hero from another world. In ages past, they have summoned mighty warriors from other universes to fight as their champion and save the world from darkness.

What young boy doesn't crave adventure? What young man doesn't wish to be a superhero?
But time marches on, and life grows dull with responsibility. Is it any wonder that old dreams are forgotten?
