"Prophecy is like a blueprint to failure, because it never says what happens after." - Dreadmaster Ynvera, of the 2nd Link.
For most small towns, prophecy is just a word told in a legend or myth to give reason to what the heroes of stories do. They never speak of where the heroes come from, as they certainly don't come from backwater villages. That's what Mia and Nell Lonnis believed growing up in Tawny Bend. As brother and sister, they know prophecies have nothing to do with either of them. But sometimes, prophecy has consequences after it has already been fulfilled, and nothing can stop its progress.
Being chased by the villagers, Maxwell, 13, and his mother run for their lives. They run to the nearest forest thinking that it would help them escape. They almost got caught when monsters from nowhere suddenly attacked the villagers. Afraid of being noticed by the unknown monsters, he then turned to her mother only to see a whirlwind behind her. Maxwell tried to save his mother but little did he know that there was also one behind him. The next thing he knew was he’s in a small village where magic is everywhere. And what happened to him was unknown! How come that he aged that much in just three day? How come did he become a 21-year old guy in just three days?
A she-elf, the last of her kind upon the earth after the rest of her race abandoned it centuries earlier, becomes entangled in fairy tales. Je Kinah's moral compass demands that she lend a hand to stories that were meant to have a 'happily ever after' but have gone astray. However, she is not without her own story and her past is coloured with tragedy and tainted with despair. Even as she unwravels each fairy tale, more of her own story is revealed and the ultimate conclusion is addressed. Can a she-elf ever hope for her own happily ever after, after all she has done?
There have been many tales of transmigration, of lovely gods and goddesses, of pompous allies and enemies, of loyalty, betrayal, and farcical plays to turn otherworlders into chess pieces, playthings, and scapegoats, into heroes, soldiers, and saviours.
What if what summoned wasn't benevolent? But also not coated in lies? The self absorbed gods and goddesses, the all powerful creator gods making up for mistakes... These are all seen in the light, and many cast shadows, but where is the tale of the being summoned by something from the shadows? Something deemed heinous and vile to existence itself, but just as natural to the order of the mythical as the gods and goddesses themselves?
Today we see what happens when something Eldritch decides to be whimsical and uncaring, but refuses to debase itself to lie, what will be will be, it knows it, speeding it along with a pumpkin seed is just a curiosity. Nothing more.
This is the tale of Jack, his start, and his attempt to survive and do something that's supposed to happen anyway, whatever that may be.
After a very suffering early childhood, barely surviving only because of his grandfather, he ended up becoming a reclusive and anti-social child with a few trusting issues and quite a dark outlook of life and society.
As his grandfather wanted him to at least try some degree of human connection, he got introduced into gaming, yet by failing to connect to others in a toxic virtual environment, he ended playing alone, not seeking help and developping some bad gaming habits that severely hindered him.
Due to a global pandemic and the collapse of the local health system, he ended by having a very traumatic death that pushed him to hate and deny this world itself, society, his life and even himself, remembering the very tiny truly happy moments talking and laughing with his grandfather while he played games on the computer while his consciousness faded.
As time went by, his consciousness slowly returned, yet he didn't feel nor think like himself from before. He was weak and his body was clearly that of a baby, but his mind was not. Truth be told, he barely had hazy memories from his first life, yet the knowledge of his studies and gaming days remained and just a few moments and the face of his previous grandfather remained in his, life, thought no name and only memories enough to have an idea of how much pain and suffering he had gone by.
His second life though did not start very well at all. He was being hugged by a dead couple as if the most precious thing in the world.
While before he had two living and hateful parents, this time he had two loving ones that died clearly using their bodies to protect his life in a very remote corner of the town's slum.
Even if he had no way of knowing that he barely had cried after being born until that point, now, he couldn't stop crying with all his lungs as his mind grasped what he lost before even having a chance of experiencing it.
Adopted by a deaf-mute and illiterate homeless woman in a much less technological, almost medieval yet fantastical world, at the very bottom of the social hierarchy and not even owning a name, he grew while experiencing limitless love for the short time he was able to spend with the caring woman that raised him.
She knew enough and was only capable of teaching him the very basics of that world, and what she didn't know, he was able to learn by himself. His new mind was a lot clearer now than his first life, though a bit less capable.
By employing the use of a few public magical artifacts of very low quality, he found that the world he now lived shared a very strong similarity to the games he used to play in his previous life, yet his old bad habits, even after death, remained.
Though his choices made him the weakest out of any other person alive, it was also for the very reason that made him the weakest that he attracted the attention of the strongest, most whimsical, chaotic and self contradicting entity of the Overworld.
The only one to ever be truly loved by her, yet the uncontrollable strength he received for that love only felt like a curse and further pushed him away from humanity, yet his actions and reactions only drove her to be even more interested.
Growing up in a peaceful village, Aishar was always surrounded by kind and loving people. He always dreamed of becoming an amazing adventurer just like his parents and explore the vast continent of Astria. In a fateful moment, he discovered a ring that refers to 'herself' as a shattered will named "Aries". Unbeknownst to him... that ring will accompany him to an adventure that will forever be engraved on history.
One was just a spark that could cause a wildfire, as his father said. The other was the youngest brother to the king, all the rules and expectations of a royal but the love of no one.
Tacitus was a young man in a world where people must hide what they are, anything not human was simply brushed under the rug. As such, he, and on top of being something already hushed, found himself with a rare genetic mutation that didn't make his life any better. Even after his own mother decided to get rid of him instead of facing society's toils with him. Now, sold as a companion to a noble in a different land far away from where he was born.
Nathan was just about to continue his daily school life when a devastating earthquake strike.
But just when he thought everything couldn't get any worse than it already is, monsters from myths and legends started appearing.
Goblins were just one of the many monsters he would encounter along the way to his journey to safety.
Note: I will be posting ~4 chapters every Wednesday. Also, English is not my first language so kindly point out grammar mistake if you see one and I'll be sure to correct them. Thanks!
Why can’t Rose sleep?
You couldn’t either if you had the recurring dreams that the young Sister Rose endures.

Lucid dreams are when you know that you’re dreaming while you’re asleep.
You’re aware that the events flashing through your brain aren’t really happening. But the dream feels vivid and real. You may even be able to control how the action unfolds, as if you’re directing a movie in your sleep.
Things became even weirder when you could gain all kind of bizarre abilities from the dreams in reality.

Unlike the aforementioned story, this particular story is not about these heroes, nor the girl's battle against the world, but a time long after, as the girl travels amongst the results of her actions.
This story is currently under rewrite. I am going to write five chapters to get my ideas sorted out, do a mass release, and then go on from there.

The world as we know it has come to an end. Reshaped and refroged by the System into one of danger and death, but also of opportunity and rewards. Those who survive gain the opportunity to level up and gain classes, to fight, survive, and thrive in this new world.
A strange take on a tired premise, we follow a protagonist whose mind cannot be read by anyone, not even by you. Told only through an omniscient narrator and second person perspectives, we'll follow John's adventures through the eyes of everyone but his own.
A mysterious woman approached me. Even under this dark streetlight, she was brimming with whiteness; white hairs, white clothes and white nails. Her eyes, yet, gleam red in the gloom. That moment I could feel chill down my spines; my instinct was already telling me to run away.
She was covered in blood, emanating a gross smell of rotten flesh.

In 20XX to fight against rising unemployment, demonstrations, and the criminal activity which followed the use of androids as an in every way superior workforce, the United Terrestrian Empire Goverment encouraged and invested in the progression of "Virtual Realism", so as to placate the populace. Games, giving people far more possibility for self-fulfillment than just putting them through a made-up story, quickly became the focus of them and everyone else.
Fantasia Freedom Online, later more commonly known as Depraved, is such a game but for unknown reasons the game, that was designated to show its uniqueness in allowing its players to choose all roles from heroic adventurer over hardworking merchant to villainous mastermind with their own customized backstories in an effort to simulate another, better life, had unexpected changes: Aside from changing the Story, that drove the world, till even the original creators couldn't recognize it, the Main AI "Ragnarök" also stopped censoring content and enforcing the laws of the real world inside the game.
Despite multiple attemps to stop the Ragnarök, there wasn't any progress so the incident was covered up in the development stages in the hopes that the world and by inclusion the developers higher-ups in the goverment would never find out. Their public execution for causing billions to suffer is next saturday 4 PM UTC Earth Time, in case you were wondering.
Now a player of this game and two who are part of its world will try to contend against forces larger than without knowing what dangers they find themselves in.
Info you don't need, nor probably want to know:
This is a project for school. Basically we're supposed to see if habits develop after you do something often enough over a certain time span and if they replace less productive ones. You most likely guessed it already, but I choose to try to make it a habit to write and I'm too lazy to write on paper.
Also I'm a teenager so this is probably edgy and unimaginative.
This will focus on the game world rather than what happens outside of it..
