Some dude falls into another world and decides he’d rather live as the Heroine than go out and fight to death as the Hero. He might have changed his mind if he’d read the terms and conditions, though.
After Dr. Hawthorne Crenshaw's university experiences a terrorist attack, he undertakes a titanic effort to colonize a new planet in an effort to rescue some small part of humanity from what he suspects is an unstoppable spiral into a Dark Age on Earth. Subjecting himself to tens of thousands of years of repeated cycles of cryogenic freezing and unfreezing to monitor his passengers, he and his AI T.I.A. shepherd Earth's first, and perhaps only effort into colonizing a new planet.

A ritual, with the sole purpose of obtaining immortality, goes horribly wrong. What's left in its aftermath is a boy who receives an inheritance from the Void, a mysterious place that embodies darkness. With a newfound power, he is given a chance to carve his own way into the world.
To stay alive, Jawad must succeed where all others have failed: he must catch the Prince of Cats. More legend than man, the Prince is draped in rumours. He can steal the silver teeth from your mouth in the blink of a smile. He is a ghost to walls and vaults, he laughs at locks, and Jawad must capture him before powerful people lose their patience and send the young rogue to the scaffold.
Ever the opportunist, Jawad begins his hunt while carrying out his own schemes. He pits the factions of the city against each other, lining his own pockets in the process and using the Prince as a scapegoat. This is made easy as nobody knows when or where the Prince will strike, or even why.
As plots collide, Jawad finds himself pressured from all sides. Aristocrats, cutthroats, and the Prince himself is breathing down his neck. Unless Jawad wants a knife in his back or an appointment with the executioner, he must answer three questions: Who is the Prince of Cats, what is his true purpose, and how can he be stopped?
The Prince of Cats is set in the same world as my other fiction, The Eagle's Flight, but the two stories are not connected. The full story has been uploaded. Information and a map of the city can be found here.
The Empire and the Church span almost the entirety of the known world, absent some pockets of lawlessness and the realms of the deceiver. They are governed as a despotic theocracy, ruled in name by the solitary and omnipotent God, Al'Shazan. In practice, Al'Shazan is bored, flighty, cruel and has little interest in ruling the Empire. Instead the Empire is run by the High Priest, Minister of the Treasury, and the Knight Commander of the inquisition. Their job is to make sense of the contradictory nonsense spewed forth by their living God while simultaneously ruling the greatest nation that the world has ever known. The entire time, they have to maintian the facade that Al'Shazan is a benevolent and loving God in order to maintain morale in the general populace.---------This story was originally a National Novel Writing Month 2019 project. I have finished my rough draft (it is short story/long novella length). I am posting the chapters here as I finish editing them. The actual genre I was going for would be more along the lines of a Fantasy Political Comedy/Drama. It will not be 'crunchy' (minimal action, minimal descriptions of powers/abilities) but instead be focusing on world building and political maneuvering.
Ever since she was a child, Itaka Izumi dreamed of being transported into a world of medieval fantasy, where to live her life as a brave hero by the sword. One day, by a miracle, Izumi actually gets her way. Only—she's a child no more.
Knight princess Yuliana escapes the Kingdom of Langoria, defying the king and the law, in an effort to save her world from a prophecy of doom. Caught in a bind, she is saved by a champion, one summoned from another world. But definitely not the kind of a champion she wanted.
By forces of circumstances, the two women end up journeying together through the deceitful world of Ortho, where the greatest threat is not always a wild beast, or a monster, but might as well be fellow man.

Thanks to the warm reception, there is also a SEQUEL!
It so happens there is also a second sequel.
And if that wasn't enough, there's even more these days.
I'm sure it will end somewhere, eventually!
Clair/Dex is bored of her first life, so she/he decides to end it and see what happens after death. But his/her system has an update and new possibilities arise. Now he/she's going to live as Naruto with some extras, but was it the right decision to change the childhood difficulty from Normal to Very Hard? Read it yourself and see what changes Dex will bring. Here comes the chicken eating and crazy being called Dex. We all hope the Elemental Nations are ready for him. --------------------------------------- My second story, hope it will have a better start than the first one. Clair will be OP, just not as OP as previously. She will also start fairly weak, cause she is a baby..... Have a funny read. There might come more tags, like reader Interactive or Romance, but again I'm not sure. Don't know if I have to say it, but I don't know anything from the Naruto Universe, I only own the new things I introduce and naturally Dex.
Speaking heresy on my deathbed led me to meet god. Maybe it was a curse, or a blessing, but he decided I would work it off--as one of many gods on another world of magic and sorcery. It wasn't something I intended or was prepared for, but I am willing to work to make the world a better place. Isn't that what a god SHOULD do? Part of the Demonsword Project universe (First Age).
A somewhat spoiled rich kid enters Royal Road to stalk his crush. Instead, he finds himself on a dark (read: fun) path that will inevitably lead him to becoming a Necromancer.
Palan is raised in the harsh world of the demons, depending on himself to survive while raising his sister. One day, his sister falls sick and he's forced to make a deal with an angel in order to save her life. Unfortunately for him, that deal sends him a world away from his sister.
What happens when a ruthless demon is thrust into the world of the heavens above?
The story is complete.

A super-intelligence is only limited by its ambition. If you could do anything, what would you do?
Megacles has a pretty good life. Also, she's horny, lonely, bored, anxious, and a bit of a drunk. She decides to fix all that with science. It works okay, until she accidentally builds a doomsday device. At least she’s not bored anymore.
This is a simple tale of love, hope, sex, rejection, revenge, secrets, extortion, thievery, dead billionaires, killer robots, space monkeys, mind control, superhot lasers, god-like power, and the destruction of the Earth. And drugs. Almost forgot the drugs.
Check out the reviews - people like it, maybe you will too. Or, just read Chapter 1. It's a good example of the book. If you like it, you're good to go.

I spent most of my life trying to get by with whatever happiness I could, that included alcohol, food, and porn.
My death was unpleasant and humiliating. However, death is something we all need to go through. A bit like a proctology exam; necessary but never anything one wants to go through while it's happening.
However, death was supposed to be the end of it. Either way, the pain, suffering, and failures were supposed to be over. I was supposed to wink out, or perhaps take a trip to a lovely afterlife!
No, I ended up as a small stone, strapped to a table, while a pimple-faced teenager rubbed my facets and told me how 'lovely' I was. Last time I checked, birth wasn't supposed to be as embarrassing as death!
Life as a dungeon core isn't all bad. I like watching lizard love triangles and snooping on militaristic dwarves; though there is that issue where I'm trying to free myself from the entanglements of the Gods....ok, yeah that last one is a bit of a problem.

Hero Beaumont was one of Arizona's most notorious outlaws. He was a bank robber, a mass murderer, a horse thief, and more. Any crime you can commit, Hero Beaumont has most definitely done it. Everyone feared him and his gang of murderous lowlives.
But then one day he dies and awakens in a body that definitely is not his. He has also awoken to a world that is vastly different from the rough, violent desert he had just departed. What can a simple gunman do in a world where nothing makes sense, and single mistaken step could lead you and the planet to oblivion?
Why, he'll do what he's always done. His very damned best. And when you're at the top Arizona's Most Wanted, well, your best is pretty damned impressive.
Book Two is now available here.
