The story of a soul seeking new adventure in a new life. A secret wish to find some things he never really found in his old life. Will the universe have other ideas for him again? Warning: 18+ due to violence, language and sexual content Note: The story is complete. A/N: Since people seem to be skittish with the gender bender tag, I should probably mention that it does not play a particularily important part in the story. More in the beginning, less as the story goes on.
An ancient elemental is awoken in a time that is not his own. He sets off to finally complete the dream he has always had. Armed with the chance granted to him by the strange new system, he will set off on a journey throughout the ages.
From the nothingness I appeared. Bodiless, voiceless, ageless, I have only thoughts and emotions to guide me. My one connection to the world lies in the hearts of a small colony of lizards, just on the cusp of maturing. I reach out to them without hands, inspiring them to be more than what they are, shaping their bodies from visions of lost memories. But where do the memories come from? I am always left with more questions than answers. In my lonely shapeless existence the lizards cannot hear my words, and they cannot feel my touch, and I must wonder, do I even really exist? --- Called emotional, abstract, and beautiful by readers, this story is an observational account of a disembodied entity that has the power to influence and change a race of mildly intelligent lizard creatures. Memories of a previous life often serve as inspiration, but also generate questions as to whom the entity might have been before it became an Overseer. (presented in short chapters) (Thank you readers for getting my story into the top 5 ;u; ~<3) [Overseer has moved, please see Final Annoucement]

On the one-year anniversary of Epilogue, Etzy's back <3
This story is a proto-cyberpunk thriller set in near-future Seattle. As with all my stories, the focus is on characters above everything. This is one of the more-action heavy stories I've written—but as always, expect a lot of dialogue, realistic characters, and complicated drama without easy answers. There's no gore and I don't describe violence in explicit detail, but my stories do tend toward the darker side of life, so please be aware as you dive in.
Chapters whenever I publish them, no specific schedule. I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think :)

Thanks to the warm reception, there is also a SEQUEL!
It so happens there is also a second sequel.
And if that wasn't enough, there's even more these days.
I'm sure it will end somewhere, eventually!
A story of two people in their early twenties, an always expressionless(?) Aya, and cool(?) Tyson. Loves, friendships, and the small moments pile up in this odd(?) love story.
Tyson, suffering from long-lasting unrequited love, meets Aya, an odd, expressionless girl from his classes. As the curiosity about each other draws them together, it slowly sparks a friendship founded on honesty with which the two deal with one another. It is a story about two ordinary college students with their own, small circumstances, and love which blossoms between the two of them.

The Empire and the Church span almost the entirety of the known world, absent some pockets of lawlessness and the realms of the deceiver.
They are governed as a despotic theocracy, ruled in name by the solitary and omnipotent God, Al'Shazan. In practice, Al'Shazan is bored, flighty, cruel and has little interest in ruling the Empire.
Instead the Empire is run by the High Priest, Minister of the Treasury, and the Knight Commander of the inquisition. Their job is to make sense of the contradictory nonsense spewed forth by their living God while simultaneously ruling the greatest nation that the world has ever known. The entire time, they have to maintian the facade that Al'Shazan is a benevolent and loving God in order to maintain morale in the general populace.
The actual genre for this is more along the lines of a Fantasy Political Comedy/Drama/Thriller. It will not be 'crunchy' (minimal action, minimal descriptions of powers/abilities) but instead be focusing on world building and political maneuvering. As a warning, it is fairly dark.
A somewhat spoiled rich kid enters Royal Road to stalk his crush. Instead, he finds himself on a dark (read: fun) path that will inevitably lead him to becoming a Necromancer.
A ritual, with the sole purpose of obtaining immortality, goes horribly wrong. What's left in its aftermath is a boy who receives an inheritance from the Void, a mysterious place that embodies darkness. With a newfound power, he is given a chance to carve his own way into the world.
Many years passed since Dexter reincarnated into the body of Naruto. And these years brought changes. What didn't change was his love to Kurama and his penance to chicken, as well as his tendency to change into a woman and have fun by messing with people.
But who would have thought that the Naruto universe was the same as the Mass Effect one? Read how our chicken fanatic will influence the world of Mass Effect.
Plays during Mass Effect 2.
Link to the Cover, I do not own it, as well as any content from Mass Effect and Naruto.
This story could be about the Tellask Empire, ruler of a thousand suns and faced with imminent peril at the hands of the Orakh hordes. It could be about Paltai Amberell, the scion of a noble elven House, fallen upon hard times and seeking to find the key that will restore his family's name and save the Empire itself. It could be the story of his voidship, The Viceroy's Pride, powered by magic and crewed by a team of crack marines as they search for adventure and the solution to the Empire's myriad problems.
Instead, this is the story of Daniel Thrush, human electrical engineer, befuddled researcher and survivor of the debacle that was first contact with a spacefaring civilization. Due to a combination of luck, magic, hard work, and more luck he is thrust into the center of events as Earth is shoved onto a much larger stage rife with semi-immortal elves and magical kingdoms that predate the Earthly invention of agriculture.
Earth is outnumbered, and we have precisely one wizard. Dan. He's not very good at it, but he's going to have to learn in a hurry or watch everything he knows get torn apart by massive spacefaring empires straight from the pages of a fantasy novel.
Some readers have noted that the MC tends to be weak willed and pushed around a bit. A significant portion of the story is his character growth into not being a pushover (i.e. him being passive is in the early chapters on purpose). I'm just including this caveat/warning to make sure that readers aren't surprised/upset and that they stick with it until he learns to stand up for himself.
His arc begins to crystallize around chapters 25-27. If that's too long to wait, I get it, I'm just trying to do my due diligence and warn you that the character development is a bit of a slow burn.
This is NOT a harem novel. Nothing against them, just not what it is.
