Astrid is an poweful yet ominous mercenary working for Rusl Evenstar's mercenary company. Passing the time, she reflects on her brutal upbrining as an asssassin, and the true story of how she came into Rusl's service... This short story is based on my novel, The Trinity of Evil: Hero's of Fortune. The book will release onto Amazon hopefully by the end of the 2019 summer.
Sy, a local tenant at the Cloudwalk apartment complex is a rather odd fellow. His neighbors can barely get a polite response, he barely unlocks his door and is always busy. One afternoon after a commotion in the hall, his neighbors across the hall, the Zeiglers, come out to see what all the noise is about. They are shocked to see Sy covered in blood, crawling across a painting of the star of David on his floor as he slams his door. His reputation was bad at first, but now the tenants want him gone. Some of them are even scared of him. But there's a perfectly reasonable explanation, right? Right?
492BC Ancient Athens. Gaiana was raised as a slave her whole life, she knew nothing more than a life of servitude to her master and his son. But as the threat of war looms ahead, with a Persian military prepared to conquer the Greek Peninsula, Gaiana soon discovers that her destiny is far greater than the will of any mortal man.
As a vast empire prepares a military campaign across her homeland, Gaiana enters the playing field with the powers of Gods, ready to defend her people against the imminent threat. She will travel, grow, and learn what it means to wield the powers of a deviant, and to use these powers against supernatural forces that exist beyond anyone's understanding.
This is Gaiana's path, a Deviant's to Olympus.
The world of old is gone. The technology of ancient civilizations is lost. There is only one who is still alive and yet he refuses to let go of the past. What is keeping him from leaving the land he once called home is yet unknown.
Two sides have been in a war longer than any living man can remember. Each side raised on stories of how the other did them wrong and how they were going to make it right. No one alive knew the real reason these two factions warred, but it's all they've ever known. Peace and truce are words no man has uttered in hundreds of years.
Nissa, a bloodmage, and Rhett, a paladin, will each make their way through this war only to discover the truth behind what started it and what it means going forth. They have dedicated their entire lives to beliefs taught to them as children, and now it all must change.
What happens when you mix one drunk fairy godmother with a multitude of blue cocktails, add a stubborn barmaid with a unique taste in adventures, and filter it all through a sarcastic narrator who can't seem to keep themselves out of the story? A delightfully snarky fairytale quest with more than one utterly dreadful pun.
In a far distant future. The Earth was invaded by an alien race. Every living creature on the planet that they have captured. Humans or animals, they turn them into their mindless and disposable soldiers.
On the verge of extinction, another alien race emerges and offer salvation to humans. They gave them a weapon. A bio-mechanical suit, able to harness the power of the rift. With this weapon they should be able to defend themselves and yet they are still unable to win the war due to the lack of humans suitable for the bio-mechanical suit.
In order to have a higher chance of getting some humans suitable to control the so-called weapon. They decided to send the cryogenic pod back to the past in the hope that a more suitable human will find it and be awaken when the time is right.

A Short within the world of 'The Oraeka Project'.
For a world with no magic, the histories, stories, and beliefs of Earth seem to be filled with magic and wonder. Games used to escape the mundane world often house elements that are simply not part of the real world. Magic isn't real. Monsters are not real. Heroes are not real. But, what if this was not the case? What if all the magic and wonder in Earth's myths, stories, and histories were more honest than they are credited with? What if it was all hidden in a world of its own; hidden behind a carefully guarded veil separating magic and myth from those on Earth? And, if that is the case, why were they separated?
These are the questions that lead to the reality of the Hidden World, the place of wonder and magic, and the Veiled World, the mundane and safe place for people to live. Our story follows two young people: Priss Daniels and Terry White. Together they navigate the two worlds, one magic and one mundane, and the problems that continue to bleed across the Veil between them.
Priss Daniels is a Mason, an American practitioner of qi that is tasked with the mission of protected the security of Veil and the secrecy of the Hidden World at any cost. Assigned a mission to observe a potentially dangerous mage she finds herself unable to do what is necessary when the truth is revealed to her. Instead she protects her mage from other Masons without him knowing. Priss must navigate two worlds with two identities: one that will protect the balance of the Veil at any cost and one that already failed that mission for love.
Terry White is a college dropout that could probably have a better life, but is happy with the one he has. He lives in off the meager earnings from his job at a tabletop games shop and the winnings he gets from the Fate's Hand playing card game tournaments he wins. His girlfriend, Priss Daniels, is the spark to his life that makes everything worthwhile. She may have some secrets related to her family's business he can't know about, secrets that make Priss a rather dangerous person when she wants to be, but that’s alright. As long as she is safe. Terry, though, has some secrets too, secrets that he himself is not aware of, but when they reveal themselves he and Priss may find the fate of more than themselves in their hands.
