The stars were home. Decades ago, Elcy was a battleship, until her recklessness brought her out of the front lines and to forced retirement in a human body. Now she lives a quiet life on a rural backwater planet, keeping the promise made to her last captain, until one day a letter takes her to the stars once more.

Genesis. It is the end of countless stories. The end of thousands of universes, billions of planets, and trillions of lives. But what is taken may also be given, as shown in the story of Cael King. A young man of Earth, knowing only a life of study and work in the relentless and endless pursuit of satisfaction. This is the origin of his story.
Inspired by the system used in The Legend of Randid.ly Ghosthound. The system is an homage but the characters, world, and story are unique. I will post as often as I can and, given that I am not starting work until July, that should be pretty frequently. If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to leave them as this is my first story and I'd love to improve both it and my writing style.
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class.
Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday.
Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late.
The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like.
While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all.
Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged.
Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality.
Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.
As the system initializes, the world shifts. Geography is rearranged and mixed, and levels and stats are instituted across the globe. On that night, one young man was walking through an underground tunnel, his mind on the small problems of his easy life. Because of his location during the shift, he starts in a dungeon far above his level, with no knowledge or teacher, or Newbie Village to guide him. Without a class, he struggles simply to survive in this world changed by its new connection to the Nexus.
But struggle he will, for he is Randidly Ghosthound, and this is only how his legend begins...

This started as a way to destress and play with overly complicated stats systems and level systems, and I just kept writing. I don't really take it very seriously, but feel free to read and enjoy.
Capra, a man with no connections but a lot of dedication and heart hopes to change his life and leave behind a legacy in the world of Chaos and Fame— a vastly popular VR game as of the last three years. But in a world where every class and skill has been meticulously studied and optimized, and vast resources have been carved out by major guilds and corporations… where, and more importantly— HOW... will Capra be able to carve out a legacy of his own?
Is he three years too late? Or are there still mysteries remaining in the world of Chaos and Fame to be discovered?
After Dr. Hawthorne Crenshaw's university experiences a terrorist attack, he undertakes a titanic effort to colonize a new planet in an effort to rescue some small part of humanity from what he suspects is an unstoppable spiral into a Dark Age on Earth. Subjecting himself to tens of thousands of years of repeated cycles of cryogenic freezing and unfreezing to monitor his passengers, he and his AI T.I.A. shephard Earth's first, and perhaps only effort into colonizing a new planet.
Chase Berrymore dreams of adventure, excitement, and getting the heck out of her pastoral halven village.
But when adventure finds her, she'll be scrambling to save everyone of her family and friends from a decades-old conspiracy. Outmatched in almost every way, she'll have to use her wits, charisma, and a bit of divine favor to figure out the path to victory. But the odds are bad, and even with an Oracle's foresight, she can't save everyone.
Even worse, she'll have to figure out ways to deal with the weird and nigh-immortal beings that call themselves "playas..."
A litrpg romp with a very non-standard protagonist, set in the same world as the "Threadbare" books.
Book 1 of the Redmage series is being published on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. Due to the exclusivity clause, I have been forced to take down the vast majority of the book. You can read the entire book here.
Drew Michalik was working in a top-secret facility in Washington, D.C. when the Advent began. As all electronics in the world simply ceased to work, blue screens filled with information appeared before him.
Drew gained access to a mana interface and a limited number of reality-altering crystals called Xatherite. Following the instructions on his vision-impairing screens, he ‘slotted’ his Xatherite and changed his fate: he gained the ability to cast spells. Now alone in the dark, he must battle through the government bunker-turned-dungeon in a desperate bid for survival.
Escape is only the beginning; the first of his many problems in the changed world. Drew will be tasked to not only survive… but to guide the rest of humanity safely through the anarchy.
Light LitRPG elements, no harem.
Published on Saturday and Sunday.
Ever been a god? Well, I was!
Until I died.... and got judged by the other gods! Apparently, they didn't like the whole "My Faith is the only true one!" idea.
Oh, and for the record: The Apocalypse wasn't intentional ok? In my defense, I want it to be known that my enemies threw the first stone and the whole 'Offer the other cheek' just isn't my thing.
Seems like, for punishment, I get sent onto a vacation! ….or so I hope?
It's here, a rewrite? Yes! I would like to think that this version will have better grammar, better jokes, hopefully, everything better. Since it was my first work and started solely to improve my English, the grammar always caused me headaches when I looked at it.
Well, and there are the plotholes which appeared with the whole multiverse thing that came with my other works... Let's just say that the first one was never written with the idea of turning it into a series.
So let's get a shovel and fill-up the plot so that hapless readers won't fall into those pitch-black pits. They might break a knee! Or worse, vanish forever.
And now the disclaimer everyone knows:
I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)
Dan Martin has a good life. He's respected at his job, and enjoys his work. He is close to his family, and they love and support him. With engaging hobbies, relative financial security, and freedom to learn and pursue his interests, Dan is happy.
So it's not particularly welcome when he's selected by an inscrutable and seemingly omnipotent System as a test subject. The downsides: All of this is insane and by any rational analysis he's gonna die. The upsides: Super powers, a cure for a physical disability that had limited him, and above all, so very much to learn (for as long as he can avoid dying).
I am very much a beginner as an author, and any feedback or suggestions on how to improve would be deeply appreciated. Chapter releases should be daily for the first two weeks and sporadic after that as I use up my buffer. Please consider this work as a rough draft subject to revision and/or retcon. It is not only my first attempt at original story telling, but at world building and RPG style system design. The latter has been very difficult, even drawing on the brilliant work of many RPGs and LitRPGs for inspiration. Thank you to any willing to give a new story and a new writer a try!

When Caden dies in a car crash he is put in a dungeon core in another world. The problem with that? He still has a conscience, but the original dungeon core is still there in his mind, and it doesn't...
Of course, other people add their own issues:
Two human nations gain access to the dungeon and are not particularly pleased to share.
A sentient plant race claims the dungeon as sacred ground.
And, amidst the chaos, teams of adventurers just want to make a living.
I spent most of my life trying to get by with whatever happiness I could, that included alcohol, food, and porn.
My death was unpleasant, humiliating. But, death is something we all need to go through. A bit like a proctology exam; necessary but never anything one wants to go through while it's happening.
But death was supposed to be the end of it. Either way, the pain, suffering, and failures were supposed to be over. I was supposed to wink out, or perhaps take a trip to some kind of lovely afterlife!
No, I ended up as a small stone, strapped to a table, while a pimple-faced teenager rubbed my facets and told me how 'lovely' I was.
Last time I checked, birth wasn't supposed to be as embarrassing as death!

Ten years…. For ten years, I traveled throughout Yggdrasil with my friends, both old and new. We explored massive catacombs, underground rivers, and kingdoms made entirely of gold. But that time of peaceful exploration has come to an end and the time for action is upon us.
We know what we have to do and for the most part, we accept it. However, recently, a divide has appeared inside our close-knit group. Though not serious enough to cause true issues, it has caused unnecessary tension among the elves. The goblins and I, on the other hand, we know and accept what we have to do to make this world safer for the next generation.
Each monster race has its own royal family and it’s this family that we must either recruit… or assimilate by force, if necessary. For our dream of a peaceful future, where true war doesn’t exist, where children no longer need to be orphaned from monster attacks, and where my wife can live out her days happily…. Even if I won’t be there to ensure her safety.
I know our chances aren’t great and I’ve come to accept that I will probably die long before I see the benefits of our work, but that won’t stop me… Us, it won’t stop us.
The goblins and l will rise to the top and bring the monster races together under one banner, while the elves do the same for the ‘civilized’ races and at the end, if we do it right, the only thing that could stand between us and true peace, is the antagonistic gods and their followers.
If they leave us alone and allow us to live out our lives in peace, then I’ve decided to leave them and theirs alone… However, should they stand in our way or harm any of the people I care about, then even if I have to consume Yggdrasil itself, I. Will. Kill. Them.

A life taken before its time
Through endless dark tunnels and down many holes

But the whim of a god who handles our souls
Living a lonely life in the States, Vistiel hadn't expected his situation to change for a long time. When his soul is stripped of his body, however, plans change. Thrown into a new world with his old regrets and the memories of a life that is no longer his, he can either embrace this new environment and make a new one here, or suffocate under his past.
Hey! Author here. Chapters post every other day and so far are anywhere from 3.5-6.5k words a piece. This'll be the first story I've ever written but I have a plot in mind and a plan in place. Just let me know if there's anything you'd like to see or if something about the grammar is bugging you. Thank you for reading!
Please keep in mind there will be some minor adjustments made to the earlier chapters as the book progresses. I'm building a story chapter by chapter, so I may/will need to go back and touch up some things.

The Old Gods won't sleep forever, and the Dread Beasts wish to reap the benefits of Yggdrasil and her children. Mankind relies on Aether Warriors and Mages to stand in the way.
Preparing to take the three trials of Magehood, Kat knows what she wants. If she can make it as a Sorceress, not only will she be able to venture into dangerous territories to procure rare materials for her father's once prosperous smithy, but also have the power to protect the ones she loves. However, life doesn't always go the way one hopes it will. There is more to the three trials than her studies taught her, and the application of the rewards is for her to discover.
How will Kaitlyn Smythe make it in the world of blue bloods and affluent when all they see her as is a charity case?

An Archlich and his band of undead decided to leave their stronghold after doing nothing for a thousand years. Instead of ravaging the lands and haunting the living, they chose to tour the fantasy world which had changed for a thousand years!
Follow the band of necrotourists as they explore the world, discover new inventions, realize the stagnant state of the world, uncover a catastrophic event that led to the extinction of a race, join a heroes' party by accident, and meet the God of Death itself as they maintain incognito!
Be careful what you wish for. Jade has spent her life fighting boredom in the terminally ill ward by surfing the net and envying the ability and energy of others to go out and live. So when she wakes up with a weak, but healthy body in a magical world with blue game-like system notifications filling her vision, she'll have to adapt quickly in order to survive. Thankfully, she has a bit of luck and an ability that will let her reach for the stars.
This is Andara, where her adventure finally truly begins.
Author's Note: This is my raw, unedited text. In order to comply with my contract, book 1 has been taken down from RR except for the beginning, unedited preview chapters at this point. The edited book 1 is on Amazon! Thanks for your support!

Arc 1: 571 pages (complete)
Arc 2: (in progress)
Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic!
Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense.
Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults.
Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide.
This story is very Light Novel-ish because I love light novels, but it does have a planned plot, goal, and ending, and I intend to see it through. You'll see my writing style change somewhat as the story goes on, thanks to constructive feedback from the readers.
New readers, please keep in mind, chapters written from the main character's perspective are in the first person. This is a story with a so-called "unreliable narrator."
My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here.
Lastly, Orc Lord is now a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending.
