Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class.
Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday.
Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late.
The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like.
While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all.
Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged.
Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality.
Updates Mondays and Thursdays, minimum chapter length ~4000 words. Sometimes longer, sometimes a little shorter if pacing calls for it.
Genesis. It is the end of countless stories. The end of thousands of universes, billions of planets, and trillions of lives. But what is taken may also be given, as shown in the story of Cael King. A young man of Earth, knowing only a life of study and work in the relentless and endless pursuit of satisfaction. This is the origin of his story.
Inspired by the system used in The Legend of Randid.ly Ghosthound. The system is an homage but the characters, world, and story are unique. I will post as often as I can and, given that I am not starting work until July, that should be pretty frequently. If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to leave them as this is my first story and I'd love to improve both it and my writing style.
Be careful what you wish for. Jade has spent her life fighting boredom in the terminally ill ward by surfing the net and envying the ability and energy of others to go out and live. So when she wakes up with a weak, but healthy body in a magical world with blue game-like system notifications filling her vision, she'll have to adapt quickly in order to survive. Thankfully, she has a bit of luck and an ability that will let her reach for the stars.
This is Andara, where her adventure finally truly begins.
Daniel Hillside lived in his average town with an average life. Some days were worse than others, but one thing every day had was boredom. No thrill, no excitement, no fear, each day just coasted by. That is until the Schema initialized. Status screens turned life into a game. Hordes of monsters turned it into a nightmare.
Most everyone goes through a tutorial to show them the changes. Most everyone besides Daniel. He was spelunking with his friend Michael. Now he's trapped in the BloodHollow Caves where bats crunch through stone like burnt paper. A fresh new hell had started. Instead of hiding from it, Daniel embraced his new life.
In his eyes, you fear the monsters or become what the monsters fear.
This is a lit-RPG inspired by fallout and Legend of Randidly Ghosthound.
Schedule: 15,000 words(50 pages) a week, or five chapters. Working towards a daily schedule though.

Sebastian only wanted one thing in life. A nice safe profession that let him stay behind the town's walls. His mother had other ideas, however. She insisted that he follow in his father's footsteps and become the town's greatest hunter, and as such she refused any and all apprenticeships he tried to secure. Sebastian's one solitary hope was that he possessed magic, and would be accepted into the Mage's Guild as a novice. Sometimes life gives you what you wish for, but in a way you never saw coming.
Matt cannot wait to play Livia. He followed the beta testers' streams. In doing so, he realized that in a world where anything was possible there might be a place for him. While most people were creating warriors, mages and paladins, Matt had a simplier dream. Adverse to things like pain and dying, he opted for a less dangerous route. Using magic to farm the land. Arriving in Tallrock, a frontier town on the newly discovered continent of Gogland, he sets out to live that dream. Carving a living out of the wild and untamed land.
Updates on Friday.
Now we've all heard stories about people who died and were born again with their memories intact. The form of the reincarnator changes from story to story: human, elf, orc, slime, vampire, goblin; you name it, someone wrote it. But what if you were reborn in the most common of houshold objects?
What would happen if someone reincarnated as a fork?
Involves: merciless fork jokes, monsters, magic n' all that stuff, some profanity, maybe some gore (i'll keep it light), fork philosophy, and if you got advice on where to go next with the novel, comment, coz I only got a hazy outline. Read my other novel here: http://royalroadl.com/fiction/13058/odyssey-of-the-unrivalled
As the system initializes, the world shifts. Geography is rearranged and mixed, and levels and stats are instituted across the globe. On that night, one young man was walking through an underground tunnel, his mind on the small problems of his easy life. Because of his location during the shift, he starts in a dungeon far above his level, with no knowledge or teacher, or Newbie Village to guide him. Without a class, he struggles simply to survive in this world changed by its new connection to the Nexus.
But struggle he will, for he is Randidly Ghosthound, and this is only how his legend begins...

This started as a way to destress and play with overly complicated stats systems and level systems, and I just kept writing. I don't really take it very seriously, but feel free to read and enjoy.
When the Advent began, Drew Michalik was working in a top secret facility in Washington, D.C. When all electronics simply ceased to work and blue screens appeared before him, he gained access to a mana interface and a number of crystals called xatherite. Utilizing these xatherite, he gained the ability to cast spells. Now alone and in the dark, he must battle through the bunker turned dungeon in a desperate bid for survival. But getting out is only the first of his many problems in the changed world, as Drew struggles to survive and keep himself, and the rest of humanity, safe through the anarchy.
Light LitRPG elements, no harem.
On temporary hiatus while book one is going through a drafting process.
Leon and his father, Artorias, are the last remaining scions of a once powerful and illustrious family of lightning mages. After barely surviving an attack that destroyed their home fifteen years ago, they now live in the dangerous Northern Vales, a desolate wilderness far away from civilization. But those who want them dead are strong, patient, and relentless, and it is only a matter of time before they find the two they seek...
Posted first on my website, wardenreading.com, which will be 4 chapters ahead of anywhere else I post. Expect new chapters every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday around 10 am CST
I have taken the WriTE Pledge, meaning that I will see this story to completion, no matter how many eons it may take.
Wynne might have been human once. It's hard to say.
Now he's a bunker core, a nanomachine controller responsible for an entire complex.
Of course, the place is a bit wrecked. And the world outside is ruins. And he's pretty sure that whoever put him here is going to come looking for him at some point...
Dungeon Core, Post-apocalyptic style. Come for the mutants, stay for the dystopian adventure!
Claimer: My name is Andrew Seiple. I write this story, and I own the rights to it. It is posted on Spacebattles.com and Sufficientvelocity.com, as well as royalroadl.com
Now it's already the third round for the strange chicken loving being that was called Clair, Dexter and Kara. What will it do if it has the chance to roam the world of One Piece? And will it be able to hold on to its love of Kurama? Will the Straw Hats be their enemy, their ally or is there maybe no connection to them at all?
Follow it and see how it builds its own crew and sails the Grand Line, leaving chaos and doing questionable things on her road to the One Piece. But remember, only one thing is sure, there will be chicken!
Yeah, my third story, if you exclude the one shot^^. Hope I won't struggle with a good end, as I have with the others.... But be warned, there is a high chance that I will have to place it on Hiatus for some time. But that won't happen until I reach the current One Piece storyline. And maybe I will kill them off somewhere along the line, remember the Grand Line is dangerous^^.
The cover is made by NBadonK, and remade by OnLin3. The size was not matching RR's standards....
The king is dead; his heir is too young to assume the throne. Jarl Vale wants to become Lord Protector, spurred by his ambitious brother Konstans. Jarl Isarn likewise seeks this power; he is aided – or thwarted – by the return of his brother, the knight and war hero Athelstan, whose squire, Brand, hopes to restore his family’s fortunes, cost what it may. Through all of this, an enigmatic traveller makes plans with jarls, scribes, and priests for his own purpose. Abroad, powerful forces sense division in the realms of Adalmearc and make their own plans. It is only a matter of time before schemes clash, plots collide, and conflict erupts. War is on the horizon.
Story updates every second Wednesday with a new chapter from the second book of the series. The first book can be downloaded as an ebook from my site, where a map of the world can be viewed. The site also contains other background information such as history of the realms, pantheon and religion, calendar etc.
Earth has been taken over by beings well beyond our control, their reason was boredom. Now, a set number of individuals have been selected based on methods and means only these beings understand to enter into pocket universes, or game worlds. The 'players' may never leave these worlds, the original story can be changed. It is ever growing and evolving, some get fairly lucky and enter simple games, like minecraft, others enter horrendous landscapes of doom, litterally, several were sent into the game Doom, and are viewed by all those on earth not forced into this arena like hell. Earn a following, earn extra prizes, die...then you die for real and another is sent to take your place from the beginning. No one knows what happens if you beat your respective game, because no one has...Me? I'm a an ex soldier, fought in the last real war against these 'Beings'. For some reason, likely a final fuck you, they have sent me into my own personal favorite ancient game, will I find redemtion, or death?
Archimedes was the ego behind one of the most powerful dungeons ever created. He grew and developed his halls, filling them with powerful monsters and beasts, over the course of thousands of years. He was a grand structure of ten thousand floors which even heroes had failed to defeat.
However, an Evil God had come from another world, calling himself the Demon King, and a party of heroes were sent to do battle with it. They were victorious in the end and obtained enough strength to breeze through Archimedes' dungeon like it was nothing. Forseeing the end of his life, and realizing how pointless his pursuit of power had been, Archimedes destroyed himself to prevent the heroes from having the satisfaction. As an added bonus, his collapsing dungeon killed the hero party that had even defeated an Evil God.
Still, Archimedes felt despair that he had lived a worthless life as something as pitiful and futile as a dungeon. Sensing his regret and potential, the voice of the world presented Archimedes with the chance to start anew and live a more meaningful life. Thrilled and hopeful for the first time in eons, Archimedes accepted the offer, only to be reborn again as a dungeon core with not a single room or monster to his name.
Just what was the meaning of this?!
Archimedes couldn't figure out what the voice of the world was thinking. Somehow, he would have to draw a sage into his dungeon to figure it out for him.
DCS is now a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying end.
The stars were home. Decades ago, Elcy was a battleship, until her recklessness brought her out of the front lines and to forced retirement in a human body. Now she lives a quiet life on a rural backwater planet, keeping the promise made to her last captain, until one day a letter takes her to the stars once more.

A life taken before its time
Through endless dark tunnels and down many holes
Not due to chance nor done by crime
But the whim of a god who handles our souls
Living a lonely life in the States, Vistiel hadn't expected his situation to change for a long time. When his soul is stripped of his body, however, plans change. Thrown into a new world with his old regrets and the memories of a life that is no longer his, he can either embrace this new environment and make a new one here, or suffocate under his past.
Hey! Author here. Chapters post every other day and so far are anywhere from 3.5-6.5k words a piece. This'll be the first story I've ever written but I have a plot in mind and a plan in place. Just let me know if there's anything you'd like to see or if something about the grammar is bugging you. Thank you for reading!
Please keep in mind there will be some minor adjustments made to the earlier chapters as the book progresses. I'm building a story chapter by chapter, so I may/will need to go back and touch up some things.

The world of Verre is a strange and wonderful place filled with strange, bewitching landscapes, hidden planes and daunting dangers. In the midst of this wonder and beauty is a harmonic anarchy. Earth and heaven lie opposed and mankind wars with itself as well as the fearsome beasts they live alongside. It is the right setting for myths and legends. Empires and kingdoms, heroes and villains, all rise and fall. Men, women and daemons compete on this stage seeking godhood, making names for themselves and establishing legacies of their own.
Born into one of these legacies is Valerian Steelborn of the House of Cragsveil. Blessed with keen acumen and remarkable abilities he steps into a world he expects a lot out of and it, him. How far would he go and what legacy would he leave behind?

Marty had a fairly easy life as a cook for Arctic Storm Entertainment headquarters when he gets an offer from the company to try out a new playstyle for their biggest VRMMORPG, Oblivion Online. Follow him as he makes his way through the game as one of the monster races trying to survive against the forces of light.
Author's note: I will update every Monday and Friday for sure, with the possibilities of bonus chapters through the week if I get extra writing done. I also did a disservice to several of my characters early on. I'm slowly working through a re-write, but it will be a while as I want to make sure I get it right this time around.
