The same holds true for one intrepid adventurer - a strapping young lad by the name of Himmel. Armed with his grandfather’s trusty longsword and the dream of being the strongest, he sets out on the journey of a lifetime! It is sure to be a long and dangerous road, fraught with danger! And it all starts with a simple test - reach Level 5 in the dungeon called the ‘newbie zone’ and earn the right to become a full-fledged adventurer!

However, such things get hopelessly derailed when his adolescent mind beholds an exposed chest for the first time. A fateful meeting that would inevitably lead his life in a direction he never even dreamed of!

This fiction is written, maintained and owned by Neven Iliev. It is also a participant of the WriTEr's pledge.

The author, I believe, is a magician of writing.

Skillful in the art of misdirection and manipulation, what I thought was probably a story similar to DanMachi based on the title and synopsis was actually quite different but truly quite fun and unique.

With only a very few grammar slips here and there (like an incorrect word within one out of 3 chaps, so it's incredibly minor), if you don't don't mind gratuitous gore, sex, and cursing, then this story is quite the interesting and unpredictable read.

I will cry if it ever stop.

This is perfection.
This is like a drug in the form of written words that is given for free.
I always want more, it give me pleasure and the best of all is that i can't make an overdose and it doesn't get boring over time like most novel with the same length.

This shiny novel turned me into a absolute fanatic.

Boxy t morning wood,

an interesting consept yes and if nothing else i would advise you read the first ten or so chapters, up untell the destruction of that one town, the first one what ever it is/was called, up to that point we have a creature that is barely above average intellegence for a mimic, which is to say none. And so you get the interesting adventures of a monster in a lit-rpgish world that ironicaly fails to do in naritive what it does so well conseptually, subvert expectations:

in the title we have a truth that is misunderstood, in the prolouge we have a chrushing of evpectations and from there on out, (sigh) it abandons this idea, which is sad, not to say this is not an enjoyable read (for it is) but simply that like alot of this book it had so many avenues but instead followed the one ahead of it.

Its a story of logical concluseion to logical conclusion with the narrator injecting nations, people, and or orginisations that have been there for thousands of years to add more substinance, as though they were a baker adding flour when the mix started becoming to thin. Now there is no especial problem with this exept for when the baker never decided what to make, and I belive this baker (author) never really planed where it would go and so now we have a naritive with a world that is in fact changed to help or hinder the mc, and a road that is being buit to be built with no direction in sight. not to say the road is not gorgous, it simply glows with a style that makes this book a book you will never mistake for another, the grammer is good... not impecable but by no means the most heinous thing ive found on this sight, and the characters are infact interesting and have depth-ish (to argue a sucubi has character is impossible), but a book with a story that falls through... no matter the characters or other redemible traits, honestly im letting it off easy in my score because it has kept me entertained. Sadly, however, the plot is beyond lacking thus my 3 star rating over all and 2.25 in story

What can I say about this novel other than "It's perfect". Even the title is linked to the plot, attracting careless readers with a promise full of soft and bouncy things.

Duh duh duh duh duh... I'm Loving it!

Starting with the title and synopsis, you're expecting some vaguely sexytimes kind of story, perhaps like DanMachi or Origin A.R.S. And you would be wrong. What you do find, however, is a clever comedy that looks like it can go places.

Style - The style is simple, but effective. The author isn't trying to do anything too complicated, but the simple style allows the humor to come through easily.

Story - Most stories where they try and reverse the script on the LitRPG genre and tell things not from the adventurer POV, they either go with the 'sentient dungeon' route, which does nothing for me, or layer up on the drama and talk about how this monster has such trials and tribulations and so on. This is not that kind of story, and it is like a glass of cool water on a hot day because of it.

Grammar - Nothing to say here. Any spelling or grammar errors are minor enough that they amount to stylistic things or attempts to inject accents into the writing, like when a Southerner says "Y'all."

Characters - The MC is a fairly unique character, and I think we're going to get some good development out of it, but so far the main characterization is given over to the 'adventurer of the week'.

Monsters can be named 'Gary Stu', too...

It's well written, technically speaking.

Even so, the MC is a plot armored, dense, quickly OP protag.
Also this is yet another 'This character sheet's development' type story where the (protagonist?) gets magically convenient plot developments, and power-ups like candy from the sky.

The fact that he's not human is 'clever'-ish-- but that only holds you a few chapters.

I don't understand the popularity honestly. Rooting for the MC to prey on humans is probably a draw for many. As you're normally 'wired' for the MC to survive, you are anxious about the prospect of parties of experts gunning for him eventually. Yeah... when they act like fodder for the story you realize that was a wasted concern.

I mean- you would think the MC survivng as a monster would be a point of suspense/challenge- but no- not so much...

  • Some allies appear flaky, but are actually deus ex plot foils with conveniently masterful planning and execution.
  • Some opponents act 'smart', but are actually dumb and die stupidly.

So, those two points make for no 'challenge' or 'suspense' after you realize this is just an oddly 'monster skinned' 'Gary Stu' adventure. I guess goblins weren't 'monster' enough.

Eventually you get to the whole hentai schtick, featuring the ridiculousness of 'erotic' vore and the 'naturally resulting' mindbreak if you're can believe/are into that.

(sigh)

Well, 'whatever'...

Overall, pretty mindless/pointless.

The novelty wears off pretty quick-, but I'm sure some will find this to their liking.

For me, the forced platting and super-thick plot armor is what dragged me out of it. Well, the vore and mindbreak helped. Too many stupid things layered on top of one another and I don't find it palatable anymore. Add to that the overall pointlessness, and the clear intent not to handle any of the implied challenges in a reasonable/logical manner (instead solving with deus ex contrivances and conveniently compliant plotting) and I'm no longer curious... :(

I will say that the concept suggested a challenge in writing (in my mind) where having a mimc survive outside a dungeon (etc.) would be an interesting story. Well, this isn't that story & I suppose that's ok- but to so radically make this... whatever it actually is- to make the writing unchallenging...

Well, I'm sure many like it as-is

I just did the 'Advanced Review' scoring, and now I'm wondering how others can honestly give some of the ratings they do.
'Style' is subjective- so I'll let that go, though I don't see this as being anything beyond normal execution with a different type of character.
'Story' is also debatable- so I'll just say (how I see it) where the story is lacking a plot up to where I stopped reading. To me 'and then another thing happened' repeatedly isn't the same as 'story'. There is absolutely no goal, the plot armor on the MC removes any suspense. The convenient power-ups destroy any 'needs'... On to the next point...
'Grammar' is good. Nothing worth quibbling over there...
'Character'... The MC has none, and everyone else is disposable or a caricature. Anyone 5 stars this- I'd love to hear why.

None of this detracts from it's likability- it is somewhat amusing, and had potential. if you like it 'as is'- more power to you. I'm just not a fan of the nonsense hentai it's quickly becoming.

I went into the prolouge thinking that this would be another throwaway boring fantasy world fiction with some stupid harem that is only there for fanservice, and maybe if I was lucky decent grammar. I came out of the prolouge thinking, huh did he just kill the main character? I want to see where this goes. And 30 minutes later I was on the last chapter that had been released laughing my fucking ass off.

The humor is great, the way the story isn't just there to support the authors jokes is great. And I mean... Just look at the title and read the description once you get past chapter 3 you will not want to stop reading.
