Master of Dungeons

Edwin Cast was your (mostly) regular guy living and working in Kentucky. He had a knack for working, and was always bouncing from job to job as fancy took him. Insatiably curious, he was always on the look out for new or interesting information or things to do. You could say he was a 'hard-work fanatic'.
But with an ailing mother and the inability to realize that he was being shunned by those considered his 'betters', he met his mortal end at the hands of those people who he replaced. Beaten to death on the same day his mother died, he's soon pulled from the void into a world beyond his own imagination.
Reborn into a fantasy world as the last 'Demon Lord', Edwin is expected to rule over a vast number of races, each of which are considered 'monsters' and demon-kin by the zealous human kingdoms of the world. And if that wasn't enough, the only way to progress and make ends meat is to build and control 'Dungeons' for the righteous humans to invade!
Edwin will have to give it his all in a world he never expected even existed, and will have to learn to survive with his wits and growing power in order to establish something resembling peace in the war-torn lands of Eternia.
-NOTE: I'm still in the process of working on the storyline, characters, and abilities that will be presented. A large number of themes are planned, and mature/adult content is planned. The story may also be a bit slow in some cases, so please bare with me. Thanks again!
-NOTE: People have been mentioning the rough grammar and spelling errors that come with my posts; and while I've said so in the forum comments, I'm going to post it here as well. This is all basically a rough draft. I post the chapters as I write them, with only a spell-check for accuracy. None of the chapters are proofread. Once people point out blatant errors, I try to correct them; but otherwise I'm more interested in writing.
If anyone wishes to proofread my work, shoot me a PM on the forums! Thanks again.

Original, give it a try
This is Viken's FF I prefer.
A combination of reincarnation, originality, and maturity that Viken manages well.
Brings to mind animes like Dog Days, and No Game, No Life where inter-kingdom relations are regulated through other means than war. Having each kingdom create and maintain their own dungeon, while foreign adventurers conquers them to gain advantages for their own country its an original concept.
The fact the MC is not a dense f*ck brings me more joy than I can coherently describe :D
Greatly recommended with a solid 5 star (I don't really bother reviewing otherwise lol)
Demon Lord who creates rather than destroy
I think this idea is unique and both Demons and Humans have a way to make money and gain fame
A well written good read
I really enjoyed reading this, it it very well written and has a unique story stetting I haven't seen before. I enjoyed it's unique content and way that is has of going about telling it. I like how the MC is a thinker and knowledgable about life. Few stories ever make the MC out to be that type of person. Having meet a few in my life I know they exist and it is welcoming to see in a story. I look forward to reading more about this amazing story.
Great story and great content
This was an amazing story, I mean really amazing, sadly it was not complete, but still worth the read.
The character development is quite nice, but there are points where more information than required is provided.
The overall story development is better than most around, but still has scope for improvement ( It is a good read anyways ).
The story is entertaining and the only reason that I have given this a 4 star rating is because after reading it, without the ending, it might leave a bad taste in mouth.
brillient and exciting
get not like other re stories brings me back to the old game dungeon keeper cant wait for more!!!

A story with great potential. Mixing fantasy, isekai, empire building and dungeon core into one fantastic story, Master of Dungeons really draws you in. A great readfor every one and definitely one of my favourites.
MoD has a fresh take on fantasy worlds and lore, making it an interesting experience, with the reader learning more as the character's world expands.
Someday I hope to read the completed story.
Nice balance between epicness, comedy and romance
I really like this story. The main character is not an arrogant douche, is not overly OP, but still OP enough so that its fun to see him Challenge the world. I really like the supporting characters, though while some follow the stereotypes, like the clumsy maid and the monstrously strong old butler, i highly enjoy the addition of farmer Lamia, tsundere-masochist miner fairy and the literal conscious city that is in love with MC. I love it when harem light novels add a little twist to the girl archetypes. While i really enjoy the characters and the setting, i am slightly put off by the stats and levelig-system. The skills and Magics themselves are very interesting and make me want to learn more, but the way stats affect strength, and at what pace mana and stamina depletes and regenerates has escaped me. I think the whole stat thing kinda makes it hard to smooth out the progression of the main character, because you have to have a baseline for other creatures at specific levels and tiers if they are going to have a function. Also, since main character cant analyse the levels of people around him, levels themselves become obsolete since we only get to know the levels of opponents after he has defeated them. I think the story would work better with a system resembling Re:monster, where levels work as a progression counter between evolutions, but dont really matter that much for overall strength, since race and skills are the guidelines for how strong an opponent is. The skills can still have tiers and whatever, but having numerical values for stats, level, hp, mana and stamina in a story where main character wins despite these values seems somewhat redundant. All in all like characters and setting, could be better on the choice of how progression and strength are measured.
Nice work, please continue
Please can u write more chapters , (at least 1 chapter in 2 days), this request because I really enjoyed u r work.
Love it! so much potential!
Ive always loved the dungeon keeper series, and the intricacies that are possible with this dungeon theme is mind boggling. I cant wait to read more of your stories and how he makes more and more dungeons! Perhaps he can also make dungeons for the masses that adventurers have no hope for passing at all. a dungeon with a combination of cooking, household puzzles, etc whose reward would be mundane enchanted everyday items? enchanted lamps! ever burning controllable frying pans and the like.
Hope to see you continue!
A good read with some interesting ideas.
An unusual twist of reincarnation theme, with some interesting ideas.
Jottenhiem hime is somewhat cute/amusing to say the least ... and that Lamia, ha, that was one bloody stunt she pulled in front of all that crowd >_<
