[I was reborn as a dungeon-core and forgot what life was really about until I remembered that it was obviously about violence! (So I made a grand colosseum for the greatest champions of humanity to fight to the death in)]
Being taken from another world, the soul named Munera finds itself reborn as the beating heart of a wild dungeon – an entity known as a Dungeon-Core. With nothing to do but watch humans fight against one another and against itself, confused about its new purpose in this other world and ‘body’ – that is actually a complicated network of underground tunnels and chambers rather than a simple construct of flesh and bone – Munera comes to the obvious conclusion that life is about nothing else other than gratuitous violence and the assertion of dominance over lesser beings!
Taking this to the next level, it sets out to find out everything about fighting, combat, and the ascension to power and purpose through raw strength, cunning tactics, and sly strategy by creating a grand arena, a colosseum. In this newly formed underground labyrinth, the blood-hungry entity imprisons countless humans, monsters, elves, and all manner of beings with the intent to make them fight against one another with sword and magic and in contests of cunning and wit in order to prove the validity of the pursuit of purpose through raw power of many shapes.
Will its confused quest and methods succeed in pressing out the distilled essence of life from the bones of its new gladiators through the filter of challenges and nightmares? Or will it lose control over its prisoners as they band together with one another, its own domain crumbling with this violence turning its way instead? Find out in the latest novel from trending fantasy and isekai author D.M. Rhodes!

Someone needs to stop this man
Reviewed at: Chapter 1: The Resting Blade
Second fiction he's released this month! I worry for our favourite word smith. Oh right, review. Premise is as I understand it, guy gets reborn as dungeon core and decides to make fight club. Only read the first chapter (Only chapter currently out) so I don't know how I'll feel about it later but currently it has my interest so lets see if Razz can hook me on another of his stories. Not difficult, considering Razz writes LitRPG, i.e, the best genre. I like numbers, did you know that guy? Especially 3, and not because of any owls, I just like the number, ok?! Oh, that's not relevant to the review, huh? Uh, 5/5, Razz words always end up being good, if not always what is typically liked here on RR. But his words hold a special place in my heart. Don't hate on Razz till you've read more than a few chapters! Give him a chance, ok?

Good so far keep up the work :)

I like the story and the style of the story and the other things that work so far keep up the good work and stuff. Something word I need 50 words yippy so cool or something like that three trees bees nearby the stream. Oh my eyes hurt yourself in a pizza yes? I'm on fire sword

Very interesting idea

There are many dungeon core stories. This is not them. It's obviously still very early but it seems like this story is going to focus around a sentient dungeon that wants to watch people fight. So it brings the dead back to life in order for them to fight. Their reward is freedom from the dungeon. I get the sense that there will be a sense of community among the fighters. They will grow over time and you will see multiple layers of what's happening in the dungeon. I'm going to keep reading. Well written.

Original and interesting but rushed

The first chapter is the only one out so I will based it off it. A dungeon that watched a combat and creates a colosseum is an interesting idea but they way it was written felt rushed and there's little world building that's a minus for me but in general an interesting premise that hopefully will develop further
