The Meat Shields

Rickard's Raiders aren't heroes. They're not even adventurers.

They're 0-Level meat shields, the hired mercenaries and men-at-arms who accompany adventurers into the dungeon for gold and glory. 

Well, for gold, at any rate.

When a routine job goes wrong, the Raiders find themselves in an impossible situation. Left for dead, isolated from their employers, and trapped on the dungeon's lowest level, they face the most grueling journey of their lives if they ever want to see the sun again.

Most men would give up and die.
