Fed up with a world where science has made every fantasy a reality and people just don’t care about stories anymore, a young video game developer named Kai uses ancient black magic to transport himself into one of his games, titled: Choices.

Disturbed by his powerlessness on Earth, Kai makes sure to give himself the ability to change this new world as he sees fit, literally.

If you were ridiculously powerful, would you throw away all your morals and do whatever you wanted?
Would you find happiness? Would you find love? Or would you end up realizing that…

Absolute power is pretty depressing.

I started reading this in return for feedback on some random words I put together.. Glad I did.

I am a bit conflicted with my own ratings, but I hope, that they are objective.

To make one point clear: The style is homogenous. The descriptions are good, there is a certain flow to it and there's a huge variety of  words; an extensive vocabulary if you know what I mean.... I can't really give full points, because sometimes backstorys (like that of that ugly bandit) are coming a bit to abruptly. It's not poorly written, just a bit "in your face". There is a lot of switching of points of view as well; sometimes multiple chapters are written from another characters perspective. While I personally dislike that (It's really just too much for me since multiple characters are introduced one after another in the beginning and the chapter count until background is done is hiiigh), it could very well be just because I really dislike characters such as that Candela, which of course gets the most screentime xD

It's a matter of taste, so since the style is homogenous, I can't give a bad rating for my own preferences.

Story... The story is very good. There is a lot of background, the style of description really creates a vivid world - And that is important for a story. It takes place in an interesting, cohesive environment. And the best part: The events of the story fit in perfectly. It's certainly not 0-8-15, the twists and turns are interesting and the prologue foreshadows even more of that.

Grammar is good.

Characters are good as well. I might not like some of them, but they are what they are and what they are is certainly not shallow. Downside is, that with so many characters, one might be forced to read quite a number of words about and from the perspective of one that one really doesn't like.

All in all: Without some of it's edges (And I don't mean extensively fleshed out characters, don't get me wrong), it might as well get printed - with a hard cover.

If you don't plan to think while reading...

It started so well... Oh so fucking well. But the dear autor screwed up.

I have nothing to say about style and grammar. Note is speaking for itself.

Then story and characters. As I said the story started pretty good. It was well paced and structured. The characters were slowly but steadily growing more and more interresting.

But then everything came to an end. Zero (yeah you know the guy who's supposedly the main character) stopped his developpment. And when I said stopped it's stopped.

You're gonna say to me that's he is mysterious has a big plan and whaterver.... But it more complicated than that. When you absolutly DON'T have one FUCKING clue about the MC motives then guess what happens ? Well that makes your story funcking unreadable. And don't take me for one of those way too impatient guys. No no no. I don't need to know everything at once. I get that. That's obvious. There would be no story. But here you have nothing to even base hypothesis on. Where's the fun in following the adventure of a manipulative pervert who's supposed to be the hero without having as far as the shadow of a clue about his plan ? You tell me because I can't understand.

Zero is the creator. He's omnipotent (and I mean it). So either something escaped his grasp. In that case why not telling the reader ? Not telling but making the reader guess ? Again I don't need answers right of the bat but clues. But no, author decided that I as a reader was not worthy.

Or he has everything under control but then he's a giant fucking pervert. Or if he's not a fucking pervert, then again why not telling us a bit of his motive ?

It's been maybe 30 chapters since we heard about the Hill. 30 FUCKING chapters. Still no idea what it is.

I prefer to think a bit about the characters I read about even if in the end my guesses (guess ?) were completly wrong rather than being solely lead by my nose. You know why ? Because I have the feeling the author is just doubting my capacity to think. If you cannot make a story yours even a tiny bit, it's a wrong, useless and crapy story.

And of course every time you think the beginning of an answer is coming there's some sort of ridiculous and not even funny plot gimmick that comes in the way.

To top it off we have some filler arc. Yes academy arc, I'm looking at you. Fuck you. You're the easy way I prayed the author not to take. Damn you for existing academy arc.

I don't have words in english to finish so i'mma finish in my mother language.

Bref, le début était plutot encourageant et puis c'est parti en couille.

This story is great, the characters are pretty interesting and already show a good depth,  the world is still to be developed, but even here the author show great promise, already building a good background which i hope will develop in a great story.

The only thing i don't really like is that right now only the first 7 chapter are from the mc pov, but it is still enjoyable as the characters are, as i said before, pretty interesting, and i realize they are needed in order to build the world, but still, i miss the mc.

Overall it's a really good story, especialy for rr, it will propably be character driven, and sad, but the journey will proprably be worth it.

Unless the author drop it.

Please don't drop it.

I like the story, it's well-aritten with a good plot, but theres too much of the pov of other characters, not enough of the main characters. Kinda disappoints me cuz everytime i click next chapter hoping it's zero's pov, it's not. Still good though gonna keep reading, hope you fix this.

Too much side character and info dum

Some people may praise that this story is different with its multiple POV... but for me it is like  info dum.... i try to preserve by keep reading it until chapter 10. But then it got really boring. This story make me remember reading Durarara!! japanese light novel which like to introduce so many character. Many people praise it , said it is good novel but i can't even stand first volume and never try to read or watch its anime.

I'm not trying to say to change your way of writing. But this is type of story that whether you love it or hate it. I am the type that hate it since i am not the type that can remember something the moment i read it so the story that jump from one character to one character like this is really hard for me.

Other than that, your grammar is good enough. After all, English is my second language. As long as i understand the story, for me that is good enough.  I myself am bad at grammar actually.

The story and characters are still not fleshed out yet but it is going good.  But like I say, i just can't keep on  reading without getting bored and confused. For me, once you read a fiction story and feel like  you are reading  your school history text book, then the  story is just  not for you. So sorry, this kind of story is  just not my cup of tea.

Great Story, did not like the ending

Reviewed at: Pagebreak Teaser

Headline should say it all. I really liked the Story, but the ending did not go like I hoped it would.

Spoiler: Spoiler

But alas the ending as is was what the Author wanted and im just ranting about it. The rest of the story is easily a 4.5/5 but the ending made the whole a 3/5 for me.
