**UNDEROING HEAVY EDITING**
A young apprentice, Valerie Legarde, studying the art of Maljä, finds out that her boss is being hunted by a large megacorporation that produces much of the world's magical tools. What was supposed to be a basic delivery goes awry. She must fight through strange lands and work with even stranger people to survive.
Worst of all, she has to get through the rain. Even a sprinkle of it summons the Blight, abominations of nature that inhabit the worst areas the world has to offer.
