Lucy Pike is a kid on the run. Well, young adult. Maybe. What's she running from? Expectations. Society (and her mom) expect her to get a job and 'adult' properly. She just wants to see the stars, meet someone who she can become friends with, and maintain a decent operational and pain-free status. The pain-free bit doesn't look like it's in the cards though, seeing as she finds herself tagging alongside dragons, elves, and cloned cyborg warriors from long-lost armies.
