The Unclaimed Ambassador
by Segmentation Fault
- Profanity
A man suffering from a magically induced amnesia attempts to understand the workings of a foreign yet not so different world. His alien nature proves to be a barrier in more than the figurative sense, however, as he finds himself unable to partake or even perceive the most crucial aspects of the natives' interactions. This imperviousness makes him a useful tool in the eyes of many, securing him a chance at survival for the meager cost of his self-determination. These are his struggles as he slowly grows out of his meekness and tries to take back control of his life.
This is the first time I write a story. I would really appreciate feedback (positive or otherwise), especially on the writing style.

What a strong start!

I will update this review to an advanced review once I have read more of this story, but right now I can say this story is really well written. The first person perspective is well written, and the world is as confusing to the MC as to the reader. I really enjoyed the pace the author is taking the story at, the descriptions, and the characters so far. I look forward to reading more, and I will definitely be adding this to my recommended list.
