• KITTY KITTY Volume 3
KITTY KITTY existe aussi en Anglais. La page Royal Road de la série de livres The Future That Never Was les recensent ici.

I was only planning on one chapter, cause it's been a busy day and I was needing to do 10,000 other things. But my word, this is such a fun, witty, and elegantly explained world (galaxy) I want more of it! I kept saying one more chapter... we all know how that goes.
So, let's get into the deeper part of my review.
Style: The MC voice—who is a CAT. How can it get better than that?—is unique and just the right amounts of sassy and adorable. This is a super fun, easy read because of its flow and witty voice. It's easy to understand, even when dealing with spaceships and deep space lingo. Very well done indeed.
Sentence structure and story are superb. Both only get better the further in I read.
Grammar: Excellent. My eyes pick up on every detail, but this grammar is overall very clean. There were a few typos, but nothing distracting and nothing that took me out of the story.
Descriptions: I typically do not put this in my reviews, but this deserves a shout out. The descriptions are on point and eased me into this galaxy from a kitty's POV, which I found remarkable. The ease with which these authors set the scene... I could imagine the goop which the chefs use to create food, and I could see the stars painted in the sky. The balance between action and description is a hard road to find, yet these authors do it with exceptional talent. Kudos!
Characters — I am in the mind of a cat. My tail curls around the neck of my human. A voice speaks in my head saying I need to scratch some sense into every human and extraterrestrial we encounter except for MY human. Need I say more? The voice is unique and feline, with the little nuances exactly like what I could imagine my cat saying. Supporting characters feel real and 3D, as if we've only just scraped into these characters' minds in the few chapters so far. The relationship between Lee and Ali is humorous and relatable.
Give it a try, enjoy a wild ride with a kitty and her human, and forget about your troubles for a bit. One more chapter won’t hurt anyone... right? 😜
Overall, I love this spunky and totally intriguing take on an alternate dimension galaxy and look forward to continuing. Thank you to the authors for an awesome read and some good laughs.
Imagine a Sci-Fi alternate history, in which a sentient cat works with a human as a bounty hunter across space. Now Imagine that very same cat is every bit as well, “catty” and stuck up as you would expect from a normal cat. Mix with some assorted shenanigans and then you have this story here.
The story overall is very well written, a few flaws but nothing that couldn’t be fixed by a rewrite with some help from an editor to go over it.
The characters stand out and have unique personalities, though they could perhaps do with a bit more being fleshed out slowly, although this may change, as the story is still fairly early. Overall, this is one of the best non-human MC’s I’ve seen on this site regardless.
The plot seems to be episodic, which could work with the setting and style, but if it transitions into a full length one later this could be problematic, as the introduction would feel dragged out.
Over, a fun read for anyone looking for this type of thing, and the reviews should make it clear that it’s something that you will probably like quite a bit.
