It has promise

When I clicked on this story I was expecting something fun and light hearted.
What Ive got so far is discrimination and a mysterius backstory. Not all that light hearted. At this point in time there has been no mention of the barista being a demigod, or gods in general; just that she can do magic unlike our protagonist (or so he belives). And of course people who can not do magic are the target of discrimination.
Its making out to be a actual in depth story with world building and an actual plot.
My main complaints are that the chapters are short, and that I feel it is not living up to the title. The barista feels powerfull but not a demigod.
