You awake in the middle of an unfamiliar woods with nothing but a knife and a pair of pants. You have no idea where you are, how you got there, or even what your name is. Noob Slayer is an average college student, part time computer repair guy, and a full time gamer. He awakes to find himself in a world he does not understand. Follow him as he explores this new world, looks for answers, and tries to remember his name. Authors Note: This is a side-project I started after being widely stumped trying to write another book. It is my first attempt to actually post something I've written online, but don't be afraid to be brutal. Improving myself is why I wanted to write this in the first place. I know the VRMMO genera is a bit over-done but hopefully it has a few good stories left to tell. Warning: This is written in the first person. Will contain brutal fight-scenes, bad pop-culture references, a ton of MMO-tropes, and possibly some light sex if the MC doesn't screw it up too badly.

The opinion of some lazy guy

The story is great, and I wholeheartedly recommend that you read it.

However, as a warning you should know that this story is a bit on the mature side, and by that I mean it has a plot not involving OP MC #35, and the strange concept of gradual character development.  Ok full disclosure, the Noobslayer isn’t a mighty all-knowing man’s man. He kind of feels like a real person who makes mistakes and grows from them. In fact he doesn’t even have a fully established harem of 20 women and 2 men (for when he wants a change of pace) by Vol 2 chapter 18. In fact, and I know this is hard to believe, he wants to have sex it’s; he does, It’s just that the ladies (barring special circumstances) aren’t throwing themselves at his feet begging for the D.  I could probably go so far as to say that most people (yes, including the women) don’t instinctually know that the word revolves around him, and have their own lives outside of him.

WAIT!   DON’T LEAVE!  I know that having the MC not the center of the world, and actually grow as a person is a tad bit on the ‘beta’ side of the man spectrum, but let me explain.  I believe that seeing the character grow is more important to the story than him having a 13-inch penis, and literally slaying noobs with it, or figuratively slaying maidens with it.  It contributes to that plot thing I was talking about before.

Speaking of the overarching plot, it seems to have some potential but some of its greater mysteries are largely vague at the moment so I can’t say honestly say if it’s a gamechager, an evolution, a revolution or as usual more of the same but this time dressed in different pair of sweatpants and crocs.

Ahh a breath of virtual air

Love it well written, well thought out and deep character in the authors characters .

It's a pretty good story that views the "VR encounters reality" theme from the right angle. The development is slow enough, no OP main character that acts like a shy school boy in heat. The only issue are the erratic updates. Anyway keep up the good work!!

The story is amazing!

The only thing you need to do is to proofread your work, there are quite a few mistakes mixed in there. The best way would be to get someone else to read it through for you, two pairs of eyes notice more mistakes than one!

Well anyway, I'm really enjoying this story. Please continue!

I like this a lot. I hope the author picks it back up again and finishes the story. Great writing.

Fun read, more than worth your time.

Well written, fun to read, immersive, and the game mechanics add to the story.

Thankyou for what you've written and I hope you get the bug to continue writing it some day.  If not I am glad to read what you wrote.
