A welcome start; this samurai MC is a new twist for me. The desert environment is aptly described, and the actions scenes are very visual and quiet realistic, a pleasant change from a one hit/one kill MC.
The isekai in the title hasn't been touched on yet; just keep reading. It's worth it.
I been having a fun read with this title. It has a fresh take on the Isekai trope with stoic samuria plunged into a fantasy middle east. It gives me serious Conan vibes with the mystery of magic and sorcery and fantastic beasts roaming the land. The banter and dialogue between characters feels really well done and does a wonderful job of giving them distinct personas. The supporting characters are well fleshed out with their own motives. The story moves along nicely, with little of the filler that often pads out some serial novels.
I usally am a lurker that reads a ton that doesn't leave reviews. However, seeing a derth for this title, I felt compelled to leave one.
I recommed you give it a try if you are looking for something a little diffrent and fresh from the crunchy LITRPG or classic fantasy.
