In Savlop-2, no one has ever seen the sun.
It is a city beneath a black sky, isolated by catastrophe and ridden with crime, sustained through the power of technology and the cruelty of its rulers.
In one of the city's worst slums, a young woman loses her job and makes a few bad decisions. Forced into a corner, she accepts an offer she cannot refuse. Now, she must make her way in the city's criminal underbelly with nothing but a diamond-edged powersaw and her own baser instincts-but life in D-block is quick and brutal, and these may not be enough...

Though Menschenjaeger is in its early days, its setting and characters have completely sucked me in. It paints a picture of a world swamped in darkness, making great use of light and shadow to ensure that its setting is more than just a tacked-on gimmick. It's a living future, and the main character fits into it perfectly.
I have every confidence that Menschenjaeger will continue to build on this strong start and become something truly great.
Spoiler warning, because review.
It is amazingly styled! The setting is great, far into the future where no one sees the sun... It is extraordinary done, with a lot of details that add to the environment amazingly (calling things from our time the "Sun Age", calling streetlamps "lifelights", because it's the only light they have outside...) Amazing.
The plot is amazing! The main character is a women who worked at a chopshop, chopping up (probably stolen) cars. She gets fired from said job, then joins a gang. Action begins here. If you want to know more, go read! Though, let me tell you, it is some very good action.
Honestly, like three grammar mistakes in the entire story. Very good!
The characters are very well-written. They each have their own problems, act with in-depth character, act accordingly to how they would (don't do things out of character and such). Each actually do things when out of frame, don't just wait for the MC to do things (problem with some other stories).
Overall, extraordinarily written! Go read it!
I'm just going to put words here because the reviews need to be 200 words along and I'm at school rn, will edit later. Won't let me copy it for later.
