Rise of the Weakest Summoner
- Sexual Content
One fateful day, a caravan was passing by the village of Teira, which has been raided and set ablaze by bandits. Within the burning rubble, a young woman found a baby, a sole survivor of the attack, and decided to take it with her and raise as her own. As she was leaving with the little child in her hands, two falling stars lit up the night sky, and she named the boy Asterios.
Years passed and he grew up in a caring and warm home, developing a passion for all magical beasts, choosing the path of a Summoner as his way of life. While his love and knowledge also grew boundless, his practical abilities clearly pointed out his complete lack of compatibility with that school of magic, but he never wavered in his resolution.
Follow Asterios as his life of perpetual failure and bullying suddenly takes an unexpected turn, after just seconds short of his death, a powerful summon answers his call and saves his life. Wait... doesn't it look like... A GIRL?! Are those animal ears and tail?!
Release schedule: Can't guarantee a stable schedule, my other novel still takes priority and I'm currently on last year of my Master's, but at least once or twice a week.
What to expect:
A quite chill fantasy adventure with an MC devoted to summoning magic and fantasy beasts, slowly getting rid of his title of the Weakest Summoner (sudden strength gain but with progressive development), lots of exploring, magic, encounters, lots of character development, quite some fluff and feel-goods and perhaps a nice harem of lovely Monster Girls! And maybe, some occasional lewds from time to time when it fits the moment. It's a light story and not some deep masterpiece.

I wanted to like this story due to being a big sucker for summoners, but I just can't. I powered through 20 chapters but can't take anymore. It's nothing but hyper unrealistic author jerk off material. Main character switches his general attitude at a drop of the hat when a cute girl is involved and there's zero depth to the characters.
I love summer stories especially the style when the Summoner is also a Buffer makes for very interesting party capabilities. They have explained Summoning magic really well interested in seeing how they incorporate other types of magic.
The writing quality has been above par for your average royal road postings. I feel like the characters personalities have been explained and executed well looking forward to seeing how they develop further.
I don't even know where to start with this. The writing is just barely OK, but the poor writing quality detracts from the story sometimes.
The repetition of "you're my summon so I love you so much and I'd never push you to do something you're uncomfortable with" gets old really fast.
Weakest magic ever to infinite well of powerful red magic that was broken free is overly convenient.
There's a grammatical mistake in the summary, that alone should tell you what level of writing you'll need to deal with to read this.
"As she was leaving with the little child in her hands, two falling stars lighted up the night sky, and she named the boy Asterios." No wonder the mother named her son after those stars, they're so amazing that they can do adjectives.
The dialogue is wooden and the general diction is clunky and awkward to read. The plot isn't well thought out or original enough to cover for the amateur writing.
It's just not enjoyable to read.
So far so good. This is a fairly up beat story with short moments of sadness to add character development. If you have been drained from to many dark themed stories I suggest reading about this boy and his adventures with his summoned friends. If you don't like harems this likey won't be for you but this story is about a not obvious Mc and his soon to be harem as well as he is not a extreme perve willing to sleep with anyone but just about an MC and want to enjoy learning and going on adventures
As of writing this is at 12 chapters with no reviews. That dosnt seem right. I am terrible at writing reviews, but hear goes.
So this is an isekai but not an isekai. The MC is not transported from another world... at least not as far as we know. Probably not. BUT the first and so far only heroine is transferd from another world. So this is an isekai.
Neither character is from earth. So this is not your standard isekai story... but it is quickly ticking all the boxes any way. We have a school. We have class disrimination. We have have a super accelerated romance between characters from differant worlds. We have an adventurers guild.
So yeah. If you dont like the standard isekai cleche you should probably stay away.
Personaly the only thing i dont like about isekai is how often they go hand in hand with herems. Which cirtainly seems to be on the cards for this story sadly. But so far im very much enjoying it and hitting the referesh button every day eager to read new chapters.
The genre has been done a bit but the story was well done. It starts off kinda rushed but over all really good story.
Grammer is well done, and the characters are done nicely and story does draw you. The MC isn't over powered at the start you see how they evolve through the story. The dynamics of the character have you reading to see what happens next.
These stories usually have the MC have harems and so far we don't see that but it was hinted at, so we will have to see.
I really want to see what this story becomes.
There are little to no grammar mistakes, the characters feel alive and not like puppets. There weren't any info-dumps, but the world feels fleshed out.
The MC isn't an overpowered d*ck but neither is he a asocial loser incapable of contact with a female, like in so many other stories. He is nicely balanced, and even though he got a power up early on, the story didn't turn into a power for the sake of power story. What I mean is, he feels human, not like a puppet of the author.
The main heroine is shy and adorable, but she isn't the stereotype that people walk over, she stands up for herself and the MC.
There seems to be a direction the story is following. As mentioned it doesn't feel like the general Xianxia story (it isn't xianxia, but I needed an example). The story has nice pacing and the updates are fairly regular and has decently long chapters.
There are bits of romance and the author has done a wonderful job in capturing it so far. You'll probably be shipping the characters from their first meeting.
All in all, if you like fantasy, fluff and warm feelings this is a story for you.
