The Perfect Run
by Void Herald
The Perfect Run is now available on Amazon Kindle.
Ryan "Quicksave" Romano is an eccentric adventurer with a strange power: he can create a save-point in time and redo his life whenever he dies. Arriving in New Rome, the glitzy capital of sin of a rebuilding Europe, he finds the city torn between mega-corporations, sponsored heroes, superpowered criminals, and true monsters. It's a time of chaos, where potions can grant the power to rule the world and dangers lurk everywhere.
Ryan only sees different routes; and from Hero to Villain, he has to try them all. Only then will he achieve his perfect ending... no matter how many loops it takes.
The Perfect Run updates on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Cover by Vitaly S. Alexius.

I cant stop laughing and crying
Reviewed at: 38: The Olympians
When I first saw this pop up on RR and it was gaining traction, I decided to wait a bit as I thought it had potential.
Fast forward a month or two and one massive binge later...I am surprised that no one called the cops on me for how loudly I was laughing and rolling on the floor while reading this....followed by smashing things and questioning my existence(/s??)
Great story, great characters.

I find the MC personality to be original and entertaining with cleaver remarks and highly cultured reference and highly intelligent.
The only problem I have is I find the side character lose their value or impact as they aren't really don't hot development but that the frustrating uniqueness I like oddly.
All in all this story is incredibly deep and very fast paced and slow ASF as well giving it the most weirdest vibes ever.
The grammer and world building is pure genius to a point of idolization as a struggling author myself I somewhat envy his mechanics building and such.
The characters personality is eccentric and egotistical narcissistical nihilistic to a point where I'm like give a brother a break author 🤣
Anyways I love your work void I love you as a fan I find some of your saying offensive but I know your heart in the right place and keep up the beautiful story and love this hero vs villian genre

A dip into the strange

A future history viewed through shattered goggles and clockwork oranges with much less sex.
Anti heroes, super heros, villians with superpowers all stirring around in the leftovers of a postwar society.
To get 5 stars from me requires Gibson mixed with Pratchett.. the story and prose are good but not that good

Very weel written with great attention to detail

This is the good type of story where the author obviously created the world and charectors and knows them in and out. They have motivations and personalities that shine through and I love it.
Also, this is my favorite type of story a really strong power with a conflict and motivation that doesn't simply require "more power." Love it so far!

Take it!

Phenomenal early chapters. Different tones of comedy from Vainqueur but it hits the spot. My brain needs nutrients of healthy stories and they're in short supply lately. And this? Is nothing else but entertainment. A top-class entertainment!
So there, I just shove a 5 star on you and you can't take it back!! And there's no return-to-sender allowed.
Good day, keep writing.

Excellent so far

I've read all 5 of the chapters available at the time of this review and im loving it. Havent noticed any spelling/grammar errors (always a good start) and the concept of the story is a heap of fun. The MC is also a blast so far and combined with some nice action scene writing each chapters been awesome

I quite enjoyed vainqeer the dragon and absolutly loved never die twice. You just dont quit man . Your stories let me discover the treasure trove that is royal road. Im not really interested in hero books in general but this one seems pretty good from the first chapter already

New Mission

Read the first chapter and I can immediately see a large potential.
I've always enjoyed timeloop stories and see great potential for this one.
However, I've also read all of Void Herald's stories so far and its a fair jump from what he's written so far. I wish him best of luck and hope that this will become a story that is just as good (if not better) than his last ones.
I will reserve my judgment for later and change the score accordingly. However I do have to say that so far we have a witty MC with some flair on his side and a mission to complete (side missions included). Well, after all, it's for that perfect score.
Hope to enjoy the rest of the story.

Its Goddamn Void Herald...
Reviewed at: 9: The Made Men
As the title says, its goddamn Void Herald. I expected nothing less than for this to be another RRL classic, and I was not dissappointed. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I personlly find the snobbiness of the MC grating at times, and because I feel the pacing is a bit slowet than in his other works; there is more filler. Not to say the filler isn't enjoyable (everything Void Herald wwrites is enjoyable), but it is filler nevertheless.
Read this is you're tired of trash like Randidly Ghosthound, He Who Fights With Monsters, Magnus, and other uncritical self inserts. Yes, I said names.

Excellent start by an excellent author.

I've been following Void Herald's story "Vainqeur ever since it appeared a bit more than a year ago. The story has been discussed in more detail on his discord and he gave a more comprehensive summery of the story on his Patreon where her let everybody, not just his patrons, decide between this and a wuxia. I have high hopes for this story and will give a more comprehensive review later on.
