The Perfect Run is now available on Amazon Kindle.
Ryan "Quicksave" Romano is an eccentric adventurer with a strange power: he can create a save-point in time and redo his life whenever he dies. Arriving in New Rome, the glitzy capital of sin of a rebuilding Europe, he finds the city torn between mega-corporations, sponsored heroes, superpowered criminals, and true monsters. It's a time of chaos, where potions can grant the power to rule the world and dangers lurk everywhere.
Ryan only sees different routes; and from Hero to Villain, he has to try them all. Only then will he achieve his perfect ending... no matter how many loops it takes.

It has its Moments!
Reviewed at: 21: The Rehearsals
I'll start out with the characters because I feel that this story lucks any good quality for them to be good.
The characters really only have a few quakes to distinct them from any of the other characters and most of the time this just makes them feel really hollow and kinda unrealistic. Especially when they interact with the MC right from the get-go they all just swarm him with quite unrealistic attention and the actions that follow.
For example ''Wyvern'' Mets our MC for the first time and the way this plays out is just unreal! ''Wyvern'' Long story short our lovely lady invites him to their super fun club team and says she will be on the lookout for our MC BFF. Now all while the MC is mostly naked. And described our MC as Deranged and has a reputation for collateral damage. Then she leaves.
To keep it short again basically, our MC gets invited to a different group and it plays out just as weird in the next chapter following that.
What I'm trying to say is that characters can be extremely unrealistic when it comes to our MC sometimes and this is all within the first couple of chapters and it plays on for the entirety of the story that I have read.
The story was was interesting enough to keep me going but the characters definitely hold this one back in some parts, I really like the save point parts but they can only go so far but I definitely like the concept that you were going for.
The general feeling of the story was alright definitely wasn't bad! But sometimes the way the MC speaks and his choice of words and literary sometimes can be noxious and generally unpleasant.
I would recommend toning back on his way with words but that could just be me!
Now I'm definitely not the best at grammar! So if I see something that's not quite right I generally don't make a point of it because you as the author have to write a lot to keep the fans happy! But I did see a few in there just sentence not quite clicking into place at times but could be just the way you have written it. Besides that really not that bad.
Really the only thing that's holding this back for me is really the characters for me. Rubs me the wrong way you know.
It has its Moments!

Love it.

Definitely a weird start. The main character wasn't really giving the feel of a balanced human, but it was obvious that the author had a good idea of just who he was. We get to see that as well, as the story progresses forward. Other characters get introduced as well. No rock goes unturned at any point.
The plot is fantastic. No complaints there at all. As it is not yet completed, I do ope the ending will be just as fabulous.

Void Herald has done it again

Honestly I don't know how void does it but here we go again another great story with a mc you instantly like and plot that gets better every chapter. I'll write a advance review when there's more. I hate having to write fifty words much less two hundred. When will I make fifty?

Worth reading

One of the best I read on RR and in general so far, I can only recomend giving it a try.
Only a few annoyances and not really something thats worth mentioning in my opinion.
The humor, the pace and the violence matches perfectly and gives a truky wacky and heartfelt story
if it keep this up it will truly become The Perfect Run.

Dark but really fun !

Amazing so far ! It's funny, well written and coherent despite its madness :p
I really like the open mind of the hero ^^
Will he finally fuck atom kitty ??? The fic is not finished when I write this comment, but I truly hope for them to be a thing in one loop =)
I would eventually write a warning at the beginning, it can be quite hard to read sometimes (some parts are more horrific than heroic or comedy) but I love it nonetheless.
Enjoy everyone, it's really worth it

Nice Read

Overall it's a nice read, dropped it around Ch. 46 though. There is not as much Character developement as there could be and the pacing aint for me.
Grammar and writingstyle is fine, though it kinda gets old real fast smh. If you have 4-5 hours, the first ~30 chapters are fun to read.

Pretty good

I'm enjoying it so far. Hopefully it keeps up with itself. It's decently unique with it's neo europe and the humor lands well enough for me to keep me reading. Maybe the occasional excessive semi colon every once in a while (I don't like semi colons ever). Overall, I like it

Cool premise with excellent humor!

Witty dialogue , well written characters + an overall interesting story and just alot of excellent humor
The author handles the time-travel aspect of the story really well with clear rules and boundaries.
I can totally recommend this and hope you will have a good read like I had.

Super good

The world building is really good. It never gets boring and is very humorous. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good laugh with a slice of action. All the characters are very unique and well built.
I look forward to new chapters. I hope we get to see more past fragments in the future.

My favourite from Void so far

I think this is even better than Never Die Twice. It is the perfect combination of whacky and serious. Of course the story will probably continue for quite a while, so it has some chance of going wrong, but I don't think it will.
Style:
Void shines as always, especially with his dialouges. The main character, Ryan is a "quipper" by his own definition, so he always tries his best to make amusing popular references or wordplays. First I thought that might bite the author in the ass, and become forced after a while, but at chapter 45 it is still damn amusing.
Story:
Very interesting.
So far one arc has come to conclusion. In this first arc Ryan was looking for a long lost friend. Since the second arc started it became less obvious what "the Perfect Run" in this particular case will entail, and Ryan is still in the middle of figuring out what he wants to achieve in the end.
Grammar:
Impeccable as always. Also, should you find a typo, the author will correct it for you. Just write down what you think the mistake was in the comments.
Character:
Excellent characters so far, the author develops them organically and consistently.
