This is a story that thinks pedophilia and sexual harassment is funny as long as they go 'lol just joking'.
As someone who had a family member encouter a pedophile i can DECREE it's not funny in ANY fashon. Should it apear in any story in a 'joking' and/or 'slap dash' manner or not.
In chaper 2 it makes mention of trying to use a sleep spell with the author him/her/them-self having the mc directly comparing it to chloroform as they seek to kidnap the underage mc.
From chapter 2: 'A blue light ray surrounds me in a spiral shape. I am going to get chloroform-ed!!!'
But its FINE this is just a 'humorous' scene for 'teh lolz'
This is not something anyone gets to joke about or write about in a joking manner in any shape or form. ever. anywhere.
This and other scenes is why i have given it such a low personal review. please read for yourselves and form your own opinion.
This is just my biggest problem, following this would be depictions of sexual harassment again hand waved as comedy and wacky online roll playing.
For me this story is a HARD pass.

(Written 10/18/20, Chapter 22 "Judgement of God")
Well, it's fun. That's a big part of it - one of my favorite scenes is from early on, when some characters are killed and the only consequence is the MC griping about how still hearing them in voice chat is killing the immersion. No, "If you die in the game, you die in real life" bullshit.
GRAMMAR: 3.5/5
It's readable. It's not the best, but not the worst either.
Shadyna the Dodgeball girl has returned~
Two days into the game and a lot have happened!
Most importantly, I have friends now! Let's visit Hessy and have her teach me good place to train, without fighting! True pacifism will prevail!
That was the opening to chapter 10. As you can see, the intent is carried over, but there's an issue just about every sentence or so. Rewritten, it'd be something like the following, and even then would still not be idiomatic English.
Shadyna the Dodgeball Girl has returned!
I'm two days into the game, and a lot has happened.
Most importantly, I have friends now! Let's visit Hessy and have her teach me a good place to train without fighting. True pacifism will prevail!
STORY: 4.5/5
The worst and best I can say here is inoffensive. There's no shocking twists here - what you see is what you get. That being said, this is my most tentative review, as this could very easily end up dropping in the near future for one specific reason: Shadyna (the MC) isn't being challenged.
This doesn't require a physical challenge, but there does need to be some sort of obstacle in her way soon. For most of the story, this has actually been a political/social challenge. (Learning about the game, making friends, the tension between the guilds.)
CHARACTERS: 4/5
Bad first. There's a character in this story who, as part of her characterization, is attracted to little girls. The name of her guild is "DFC", but everyone talking about it uses "loli" all over the place. If this wasn't the case, this category probably would have been 5/5.
But on the other hand.
Everyone else in this story is absolutely amazing. Everyone is playing a game, and everyone knows it. I'd especially like to mention Ignar, who's honestly just playing the game to have a good time and finds his party members just a little over the top. Or "Hessy" (Hessenria) who puts a lot of effort into acting like a cold-slash-superior kind of waitress. (Which is helped by natural inclination.) When she kills people in PvP, the other players usually end up thanking her.
STYLE: 5/5
Most VR light novels I've seen have players talking in online forums. However, this story has quite possibly the most realistic conversations I've seen yet. There are memes that are referenced, but haven't popped up in story. The types of conversations vary depending on the purpose of the thread.
Additionally, we sometimes see into other characters viewpoints, and one person's is just so good to see through, but unfortunately, it would be a spoiler to mention who exactly I'm talking about. Special mention goes to the person who keeps reminding themself not to think about a certain [REDACTED] all the time.
OVERALL: 4.5/5
This is a story with some serious promise, but also has some shaky foundations. I've dated this review because I feel the story is at a turning point, and the review will be less valid soon.
Overall, if you want a story with a bunch of people having a bunch of fun, and can look past the issues I've mentioned, I heavily recommend this story. If not, try it anyway! It starts as it means to go on, so just give the first 5ish chapters a shake and see if you like it.
THIS IS A THING, I THINK.

"The good girl Shadyna has ascended to heaven~
I'm not dead, please don't mind the little details."
I am not sure if this can be called a "writing style", but I have seen enough Japanese and Korean novels to categorize this as such. This form of comedic narrative, with many "monologues" and internal commentary, is my favorite.
But make no mistake. Even if it is somehow incorrect in English (I am not even sure), this is exactly how it sounds in Japanese or Korean language. A type of humor, manner of speaking, that cannot be directly translated.
And when the style resembles novels like "Kumo desu ka, nani ka?", the content is akin to "Itai no wa Iya nano de...". A free-spirited airhead of a heroine is accidentally becoming too strong in a game, when "focusing" on playing the game in her own way ('incorrectly') and having fun. Those incorrigible cases, hard to the point where NERFing becomes impossible, cause even the Administrator teams to capitulate. And I like it very much!
Unfortunately, the book is hard to read for me... I love the mechanisms and relations of a world and a game-like elements, you see. This book has a very thoughtful and well-build system! Complex one, and finished, and coherent, from what I can say. The beauty. But the method of describing it all is... painful for me. Relevant/required information is often given in later chapters, descriptions are omitting some details or aren't precise enough to understood immediately, without analyzing the relations.
Everything here follows cause-effect relations, it is just so hard to find the cause sometimes... I wouldn't give up on this book though. Not just because of it.
To say it's different is an understatement.

Hilarious, insane, silly and absurd.
Some of the things don't make sense if you haven't experienced games with insane bugs or some anime-style humor.
Other than that, as long as you ignore a few other minor details, it makes for a very fun and enjoyable read.
Personally, it reminds me of the MMO games I played years ago where people enjoyed fooling around and bantering more than actually playing the game.
Tl;dr. This is one of those good stories that people come here to find because no sane publisher would commit it to paper.

In my opinion, this is a great novel for the moment when you want to improve your mood, laugh at situations (and/or misunderstandings) that the protagonist falls into, or just read.
The history of the outside world is introduced slowly in a way that does not disturb the current rhythm of events/actions in the chapters.
Although it is not very noticeable, the characters receive character development.
Jokes and humor are good (although not everyone likes them, what can you do? You will never please everyone.)
Surprisingly Amicable

YMMV
I kinda wish proper mmorpg is like this.
A buch of giant hams that are just friendly to each other when not "on the clock" so to speak, having fun.
Even the perverted creeps are mostly just doing it for the memes. At least in public.
Now, to be fair the protagonist is a special snoflake with OP cheats in ammorpg but the AI literally hickupped when she told it how she wants to play and released two emergency patches out of sheer surprise.
Read for shenanigans.
I enjoyed the chan like posts too. It's like soneone took /r/ and gave them all souls and common decency.
