On just another normal Monday, the world changed. The universe had reached a threshold humanity didn’t even know existed, and it was time to finally be integrated into the vast multiverse. A world where power is the only thing that one can truly rely on.
Jake, a seemingly average office worker, finds himself thrust into this new world. Into a tutorial filled with dangers and opportunities. In a world that should breed fear and concern, an environment that makes his fellow coworkers falter, Jake instead finds himself thriving.
Perhaps… Jake was born for this kind of world, to begin with.
5 chapters a week.
Average chapter length: 2500

Really enjoying this one, bit like lit-rpg crack, I can't stop and have to read just one more chapter :D
The world building is in-depth and the whole premise is just enjoyable. Definitely up there with my favourite "He Who Fights with Monsters" and that is high praise indeed. The story arc is epic in scale and you want to go on that journey with your favourite protaganists.
wow struggling to get to 50 words - without excessive gushing. Just read it already, it is great!
It rare on this to see a book that has a character that is interesting but not an overdone OP mage or swordmen. Every so often we get a spear/halberd user alongside the plentiful rouge character. However, to an archer that is not boring to read is hard to do. This novel does a great job with that. Sometimes it is about archer, duel wielding ,mage element, pets, city build, or even interesting side charater.
Based on RR standards
It's pretty good, good characters okay plot so far but good writing and several plot devices and attitudes and pragmatic characters gives promise
On the bad side focuses too much on small/minor things since it's in the beginning it's tolerable but even then with the number of litrpg on the site it's a bit on the bad side. Author seemed to have realised this and I hope that there isn't too much braid tugging or description of clothing
Even earning the favor of powerful entities doesn't feel too unearned so that's a good thing but it has a high risk of mc going ridiculously op. If the story keeps improving it has a good future
I'm really enjoying it and Jake in particular is a fascinating character. I can't wait to see where this story will go. It's clear that the story had a long way to go and there is so much potential for growth here. I appreciate how Jake doesn't take shortcuts. He particularly looks for fights where he can die as those offer the greatest challenge and the greatest opportunity for growth. I appreciate that he takes risks and strives to be better. He's very human and complex.
Well written in grammar and diction, with a mixed bag of characters. It has issues with pacing and story structure, particularly after it splits in two shortly into the first arc. The MC's chapters just lack tension relative to the other plotline, making them feel like a slog getting to the good bits.
Decent start of the story and good ideas. Start is a bit long winded and just when you think the story goes forward the author nerves the intelligence of the MC and his charcacter changes as well.
Well, good start at about 4 stars. Sadly, the author forces the plot afterwards, that's at least how I feel about it.
Hunting fun, people good, potions great, I love it :) I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I
This novel is rather fantastic in my opinion,
or rather this serial (I've grappled with this for awhile but, I just have no idea what to fairly call these works, they're not quite books, as they are not published and editorialized with an completed end/finish point, did what bare reashearch I could manage and brainstormed the term, serial. It's a story/tale with regular installments or content so I feel it fits) creates a amazing sense of wonder as I read the chapters. I've read a number of works but this one stands out to me,
Jake is a great character to have as a main protagonist as I've read with a few bumps, as every character has. The story detail with his brother fearing him when he was young felt slightly cringe but maybe I read the paragraph wrong. Other than that he fits the role of the young man with potential. Most of the other characters we've met feel real.
When I started the novel I read the entire body of content available, then I had to take a break due to nothing to read. Now I've taken a look and decided to embark once again into my binge. Figured I'd give my praises to a novel I find good. Thanks for reading!
Started alright and in-group drama was good enough, brooding and all the psychological transformations... but then MC got a cheat skill and turned murder-hobo.
Basically, the first 10 chapters are alright, but then its just a boring kill fest, with no tension nor any doubt of outcome. He is not absurdly OP, but sure as hell is going to become one, if it continues this way. Most agregiously, it all came out of nowhere. He is just speeeeciaaaaal, I guess.
its just good. I like the style of the litrpg development. good grammer. I hope there is much more to come. Now i need to fill this review lets do this with my onely critics, you cant just read it if you read it you will read it whole and forget everything else.
