On just another normal Monday, the world changed. The universe had reached a threshold humanity didn’t even know existed, and it was time to finally be integrated into the vast multiverse. A world where power is the only thing that one can truly rely on.
Jake, a seemingly average office worker, finds himself thrust into this new world. Into a tutorial filled with dangers and opportunities. In a world that should breed fear and concern, an environment that makes his fellow coworkers falter, Jake instead finds himself thriving.
Perhaps… Jake was born for this kind of world, to begin with.
5 chapters a week.
Average chapter length: 2500

wonderful story, i enjoy so many of the characters too. A few too many pov switches for me so far tbh. Still enjoying the personality in the writing/narrative (or w/e). I want to buy the viper a beer and shoot the breeze with him lol. Can't wait to read more!
seems very average and mediocre. not bad, but not good either. i have no idea why this is rated so highly, nothing about it is different, interesting or unique. its just a system apocalypse with a generic MC, generic system, and generic circumstances. i couldnt even make it past chapter 4, seen it a million times, why should i read this instead of other system apocalypse stories? this is good, from what ive seen the writing is good, and the characters are decent, the only downfall is that the story is bland. and the author has potenitial, but the story lacks uniqueness and originality.
if youve never read a system apocalypse story before you may enjoy this.
I'm truly enjoying this story. Writing is solid, and progression isn't too OP. Even when spikes of power come into play, theres still reasons why MC can't do X, Y or Z.
Some of the "side chapters", or ones not focussed on Jake are sometimes an annoyance, but they do flesh out the world and give context to other characters for later. I look forwards to seeing this story through to completion, whatever that might be!
No matter what the haters say don't stop i immensely enjoy this novel keep it up and don't drop this. I'm really done talking but I gotta hit the word count so you can ignore everything after the period no no no no no no no no no no no yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
the story is written really well and the chapters flow well. as far as i've read it, there hasn't been a single ass pull and that is pretty new for a story like this. the powers seem a bit bland at first but i'm sure they will become interesting soon enough. excited to read ahead. keep up the good work.
Can't bring myself to root for someone who is obviously lacking empathy and sympathy. He is truly just a bad person that would be part of the problem in a bad situation. Humanity would lose in any situation if people like that come out on top. Individual strength bows to organization and collective.
