The title pretty much sums it up. The MC is the worst part of this story, which is sad because its a well written story. The MC is a jerk to everyone he meets and thinks he's smarter than them as well. He decides to protect villains for money and then thinks he's outsmarted the Justice League because he wore a mask while he did it. And when he talks to Black Canary, a licensed therapist and trained to control her emotions, he somehow gets the better of her just by being a jerk and throwing badly veiled insults at her. Something that pretty much every therapist on the planet has to deal with. He built a company from the ground up in his world and acts like it just happened and complains about how annoying it was to run a multimillion dollar company.

In conclusion he is an arrogant douche who can't imagine that other people matter just as much as he does.

lots of fun not the usual dc fanfiction the author does a good job of settign it up to be a unique character not just another wannabe superhero joining the team, personally i would enjoy a little bit more of the heros perspective every once and a while to mix things up the auther has done this once so far but it was very brief. use of non main stream characters has been effective and allows for more unique personalitys i believe and that is something that should be continued to be leaned into in order to sepperate the story from the usual keep the power level as a slow proggression too quick will make him op too fast due to the nature of DBZ characters

I love this story and mc!

Ignore the review complaining about the mc. I think they just wanted something more... generic bad*ss templet number one. Awesome, but somehow not human enough to struggle with little things like arrogance or hubris. Perfectly humble, boring and at the same time powerful and interesting enough to tell a story about.

Which, that's fine. But let's not pretend like you can't tell a story about a different kind of person too, OK? It's refreshing to see a new kind of person. Or, to put it differently, another kind of "Normal". Because really those come in many different forms.

I honestly think that guy wasn't paying attention. He isn't a jerk to everyone, he's just a sarcastic/caustic person. Never to the degree of being an outright *sshole, just difficult...
And why should he be cooperative? Because they're the Justice League? Because they have "good intentions"? You can't change the fact that if their oversight isn't something he wants none of that matters. It's still his life and his say, at least to the degree they let him have that.

And he VERY clearly didn't think he outsmarted the justice league. He enjoyed knowing they wouldn't do anything about it. It was rather tongue in cheek imo. I don't know where that reviewer got the impression because I didn't see it that way at all.

And trained psychologist or not, there's not much she can do if there isn't cooperation from the other side. It takes two people to have a conversation and if one is purposely being difficult nothing will work right. The nonsense shields what he's really feeling.
Don't undermine how troublesome something like that would actually be for a psychologist. This story represented how difficult that kind of patient could be to the perfect degree imo.

And as for being selfish... Well, aren't most of us? It's not like he's trafficking family pets or selling cocaine to children. The only villain to date he's protected was a thief who's never hurt anybody. A petty thief stealing from places that are most definitely insured anyway. He focuses on money because it's a new world and he has nothing that wasn't given to him. No college degree, work history or safety net. No, he had to sell the only thing he had so he could work towards independence and his own ambitions. There isn't anything wrong with that.

What do you honestly expect from the mc? What more is he supposed to do that he isn't already? Is it that he isn't doing hero work? Because that's some trite bullsht. Should every buff guy join the military? Fight because they're able? And I suppose if a kid takes martial arts they have no choice but to become a police officer when they get older too. They made themselves stronger than other people so they owe it to everyone to serve?... That opinion debunks itself with how ridiculous it sounds even saying it.

Seriously, what is the mc doing that makes him so unbelievably selfish, because I'm just not seeing it! It's a different kind of person this story is being told about. There's nothing wrong with that. And he's been generous on more than one occasion.

this is quite possibly the Only good dragonball fanfic i have ever read up to this point. yes it seems a little fast on the power side but thats only becaese he starts out at a weak level in reality its actually fairly standard for an average or elite saiyan. the story is good great even, the syle is well it fits with lore of both worlds and meshes well, grammar wise im bad at grammar so no comment, as for the characters i personally love them Aiden actually acts like someone turned into a saiyan for the most part, i adore snowman, and i loved the superboy scene. so is this a good fanfic? NO ITS A GREAT FANFIC

I have read a number of fan-fics. The most frequent reason why I stopped reading them was romance, which evolved into ecchi, which evolved into harem. I hope this, won't be one of them.

Until now it is a pretty good ff, but the power gain is much more different and intangible than in other ffs. A lot of time has also passed, with nearly no big changes.

While the MC said, that his ki is 1000+ times that of a normal human, that isn't really easy to translate into a know power standard that we know. Is he stronger than Raditz because his ki is much higher, or stronger than even Vegeta(when he landed on earth)?

The 'time skips' on the other hand, make time go by too fast. While some ffs make the MC into a half-god and millionaire in a matter of months this one is slightly strong and not poor, but not rich either.

All in all, definitely readable and enjoyable, the humor is also appreciated. But if the MC doesn't get involved in matters soon, it will most likely become boring. I doubt that is going to happen though, I think these first 14 chapters have been the preparing phase. Now we are going to get more action and fighting.

Solid story. Don't miss it.

The novel is actually really good. I was very interested in its premise and I wasn't disappointed. Luckily I started reading before the bad reviews or despite of them and I am glad I did. The MC starts the story being very combative and suspicious of everything around him like others have stated. However it is understandable given the circumstances he is in and as he gets accostumed to his new setting he shows a softer side that is still well balanced with creativity, alliances and good an old sayan method of growth, fighting a hell lot. The MC also shows a good strategic mind and is quick to forge bonds with other heroes and some villains while always working towards pursuing his goals.

The character chosen as protagonist is Vegeta (at least his physical form) and the author portrays his urges and limitations in a very skillful way. The confrontantions will always keep you enganged and end in a variety of ways, including diplomacy at times. The other characters feel realistic even when they receive very little exposure, which is a gift that many writers can appreciate but not that many can say they possess (me included).

With that in mind, I urge you to not get discouraged by hasty reviews. The author has put a lot of work into this and should be avaliated with some compassion which other reviewrs so easily dismissed. So take a shot, it is a refreshing and compelling story.

Hope you have a nice day.

New favorite found! 👌.   B.                                                                                          NBC

Basic saiyan dropped in (placeholder) dimension, been done before. Pretty well done so far regardless of originality. No real complaints, I like where things are going and you're doing a good job. Enjoyed reading it and hope you keep up this cool fic. Don't know what else to say, don't really have anything to say but I need 50 words to post this so I'm rambling on. That should be enough.

Excellent DBZ/DC Comics Fanfic

Love the story so far as of chapter 18 (paid 6 bucks to keep reading a bit further on Patreon). The progression is great and the humor is spot on if you like a crass and carefree attitude.

i particularly appreciate the power scaling as the MC comes in at about Kid Goku levels of strength and begins a steady progression from there rather than immediately becoming a powerhouse.

Good start, I hope you keep it coming!

I love how time just passes. Like things just happen, it's not something I see to often. Usually the way most stories on RR go in two directions for the passage of time. Either not at all, or to the exact point of completion with almost nothing happening in the background or not at all. This writer is not afraid of time skips and will go into detail about what happend during said time skip, and I like that.

The characters are kind of stagnant in their character growth unless their the focus of change in the story. But it also makes absolute sense that there would be little character growth, because this is is a universe where chaos is anywhere and everywhere, just a fact of life for the citizens of this universe. Which is literally three universes merged in a way that probably only makes sense from our perspective.

The power structure also barely makes sense unless you have knowledge of how each power system works or just live there. It is a very interesting thing to think about three power systems, three  ways to gain power. Yes one system is clearly superior for growth, the other  system is clearly superior for intellect, and the last is clearly superior for power. The protagonist is actually only one of two that use the system of growth and will find many advantages in the future that have yet to be realized due to the passage of time.
