Spaceship Reincarnator

by DivineEternal1

Original ONGOING Adventure Drama Mystery Sci-fi Gender Bender Non-Human lead Reincarnation

Ryan was walking home from work when he was hit by a truck and killed. Instead of finding himself in the afterlife, he wakes up in the black abyss of space with a nagging hunger and shortness of breath that will kill him. To make matters worse, his new body barely functions and without the help of others he is doomed to die again. Can he find the right people to bring him back to health, or will he doom them to die with him?

Author's note:

This is a story about deeply flawed people that have to learn to get along with each other, and so I've purposefully written some characters to be very unlikable on purpose. So, if you want a story where everyone gets along and is nice to each other from the beginning, this is not for you.

Extremely unlikable companion character, just a big pervert man in a woman body constantly either touching herself/complaining/swearing, the idea for the story seem good but it's unreadable for me

So, about the grammar and stuff first. I haven't spotted a single error. Wonderful!

Next, story. I love that basically 90% of Luna is broken and the crew has to fix each part one by one. It's also realistic that Luna basically can't sense the broken parts to tell what they do, as it doesn't have connection to them. The story jumps very neatly over the pitfall that is "reincarnator OP" by drastically limiting the MC and that's awesome.

The reincarnated crew are also very human, very imperfect, which is awesome, as while perfect characters are fun when they flex their perfect muscles, they're not so fun when the plot actually progresses and they just solve everything. None of the characters are miraculously alien starship experts or master engineers or anything like that. They all have their skills and abilities and personality quirks (looking at Mr. Plank here) that make them stand out from each other. You do an excelent job of distinguishing who's talking. The guy who refers to himself in third person is Plank, the pirate is Roty, Christiane is always cussing, and Mayu speaks in slightly awkward english.

In summary, the story is awesome and really worth a read. I just hope that as more parts of Luna come online, there isn't some "OP drone factory that can one-shot all enemies and exists because plot".

I love this story it doesn't  have much for world building (yet) but each one of the characters develop in such unique ways and in one chapter your hateing them and the next you love them they are all believable and realistic and it's a roller coaster of emotion I'm willingly on

the concept is nice and i want to love it - but honestly i got 2 chapters in and couldn't stand the characters. needs major improvement. Oh and not sure if you're going for a harem here, but maybe add that tag to the story as it seems that's where this is headed
