Interesting start to a story, written quite well, a little too small a taste to give too much of a review.

Generally I dont review until the story has at least ten chapters with promise of more as that is where most die off.

Too much telling, not enough showing

Reviewed at: Chapter Six

Reviewed at Chapter 6:

Loved the title and summary and decided to read on. The author has excellent grammar (far better than mine) but the style is hard for me to get hooked on. Too many adverbs and telling of a scene rather than showing.

Deep characters that would also benefit from more showing.

Simple Ex: Agamem demanded through the door.

This is boring for me to read...

Is Agamen the type that would pound fists and shout- or the type that would be drenched in sweat trying to pry it open?

There is much opportunity for this to be expanded.

All that being said, I think the story has potential to be great, hence the 4 stars, and hope the author keeps going!
