He was born in a dark place, in a world where souls were traded like coins and a person's life wouldn't amount to much. A world where a single misspoken promise could rip you to shreds. On top of everything, his only soul was acting up and mocking him!
It couldn't get much worse in his opinion...

Author's Comment:
I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)

I am preparing for madness.

So far someone tried to use him as a living dildo. He ate someones tongue and he almost seems semi-posessed by a previous incarnation of himself. It's bound to be a good one.

NOT OVER THE TOP BUT PRETTY GOOD

The story is fluent and has very few grammar mistakes. The story is catching. Demons doing demon things and such in a comical way and I like it. Story pacing and world building is really good. There is one thing that I don't like it.

It's Andur. It's good. Duh.

Infernal planes. Finally "someone" can go crazy without having to put up a facade of morality 😁

My rant on andur...... oh yeah and about this book so far.
Reviewed at: Chapter 17 - The Sneaky Way.
I feel that the story is going well so far. I like the fact of this kind of underdog theme. I am not sure what it is about this that makes it so refreshing.
Now for my rant on all of Andur's books.
Why the title?
Weeeeeeell you seeeeee. Most of his books play out like this
. Dude with """A""" name that starts with A. Girl that becomes wife. But wait, they usually fuck before that right???...right. I normally don't have a problem with the repeated sex scenes but enough is enough sometimes, ya know?
And then Dude/main character gets the OP syndrome. You all know what I am talking about right? The character meets authoritarian figures who always think that he is nothing and that he can't do anything, sooooo Dude now shows him up. Oh and also for some reason Dude has a lot of money and/or power because of his awesome awesomeness along with that super ace up the sleeve. When Dude inevitably finds a "bad guy", he murders him, then brings him back to life, rips out his soul, starts tormenting and tearing apart this guy's mind and soul while this guy is screaming out in pain. Honestly aside from everything that's wrong with that I am SURE there are more efficient and discreet ways to do that. I never get why OP characters always go full savage and brutal just to make him look strong. I am serious, EVERY OP character just goes overkill on this poor guy who I'm sure has issues, but that's just a violation of mind and soul, this guy is just a paid merc or something. Not someone who deserves horrible torture.
Then the happy family (there is usually a child.) continues to basically rule the world and become the main authority.
There waaaaaaasss this slight exception with the agent of the realm.
But that is not this book. This book so far deserves a four star review because it is a refreshing cute underdog story of a small demon exploring the realms.

ITS AWESOME!!!

The characters are great, grammar is flawless, and the style has that high quality you would expect from Andur.
I've read a lot of fantasy stories here royal road and this is the first i've read that focuses on demonic magic system and how it works. The mechanic of how demons grow strong and are summoned is so good im making it canon in every other fantasy story i've read.

Fine

It’s fine. I read more than what the review shows.
I have become what I've always hated: I need good prose, and I can’t enjoy a book >10% exposition.
Really, the whole “succubus” description/action sequence was the reason I dropped the story, it’s just... clunky.
3.5 stars because there’s probably a good story here, I just like the journey and way it is expressed just as much if not more.

Same Old Characters, But still fun

It took some time, but im finally interested in this series now(ch.13), usually andur gets you hooked in 1-2 chapters, but i think the repetitness of the characters just burned me out, i have been reading about the same characters for 5 years now. I always complain that he should do something new when he starts a new project...but it always wins me over in the end

A new story from Andur with Andur quality
Reviewed at: Chapter 3 - Demonling and Lizard-thing
As the title says this is a new story more in line with Andur's classics, but not one where our main soul remembers anything. Has the same good ole Andur quality as well.

Huzzah Andur!
