The Otaku Zhen Shi died and reincarnated in another world. Cliche much? Yup!

Then he got a system! Cliche again? Yup!

But his best bro is Merlin with a plus one! Is that cliche though...?

________________________________________________________________________________________________

This world has unexplained connections to the Gods and Deities of almost every mythology back on Earth. On the other hand, Zhen Shi isn't your ordinary otaku. He is also a bookworm easily entranced by the workings of the world. Also, did I mention he's a shameless bastard at the forefront of ridiculous situations? With an even more shameless grand mage?

With his beloved but mischievous system *cough* scapegoat *cough*, Zhen Shi embarks on a journey facing happiness and sorrow alike as he reaches the heavens!

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Bad joke below...

Zhen Shi was out of ideas and thus said, "System state suggestions to beat up these maggots."

Ding!

SHIET! *Cough* Nevermind System, I only asked to check if you had forgotten... There is no need to be ashamed, after all, even geniuses make mistakes sometimes!

A very interesting setting, with straight forward interactions.

Reviewed at: Chapter 36: An Arrow for a Comrade

This story has a lot of interesting tidbits and fun plot line, and its executed in a pretty unrealistic way which i appreciate. This story lets coincidences happen and doesnt spend a whole chapter trying to explain why we are entering [fun situation 12], as this geta updated chapter at a time i prefer the straight forward, fun time only plot execution. Only fault is that the author is growing rapidly so all we gotta do is put a few comments of support and soon there will be no obvious flaws to disturb our immersion.

Thanks for writing this, its enjoyable and care free, keep writing the plot execution that way and i will keep reading.

This is Godly meta comedy. It's great at suspense as well. It doesn't skimp on the action either. The first bit is a little hard to get through but the comedy will carry you through until you get to more plot. Anyway, it's really well done so you should definitely check it out.

This novel is when you want to do dumb shit and have some fun.

Godly comedy(dick jokes and *ahem* a quote from one of the chatacters)

Spoiler: Spoiler

If you're looking for a well written novel this isn't what you're looking for.  But if you just want to read some power fantasy(really good) and plot armor(comedic more than anything) thiccer than the surface of the earth then this is for you.

Really good so far, not extreme amounts of litrpg and not just throwing the MC up to godhood, a good read!

awooo... :D

I'll be honest, I quit about twenty something chapters in. It's an excellent story, easy to read and very amusing. The author knows how to depict enjoyable characters.

But I'll be honest, the whole thing about the lead leaving and the romance candidate being forced into marriage is so fucking cancerous that I just can't be bothered to read on anymore. I went on for a few chapters after that occurrence.

If you are happy with such things happening and enjoy reading it, go on. But I personally hate such events to the point where it completely killed my willingness to read on further.

But overall, this definitely is a story worth reading.
