No truck-kun, no death, no clear transition: one moment I was standing in my apartment eating a microwave dinner over the sink and the next I was floating in an endless space filled with small pastel lights.

On the other hand: I doubt my student loans can follow me here...

Cat Girls Are Always A Good Choice

Reviewed at: Ch. 6 - Charmed, I'm sure.

Well I certainly got hooked fast.

Style:

Excelent. The prose is wonderful, and I absolutely love the wording for a lot of this. Everything is presented in a way that makes you want to read it, just so you can see the words.

Story:

Fairly standard first chapter, but there are some great hints to larger worldbuilding being sprinkled around already. I'm predicting a lot of tropey developments being well-handled in novel ways.

Grammar:

I saw no spelling errors. The grammar is great, and the sentences are well constructed.

Characters:

As with most isekai, the MC seems almost entirely unbothered by the fact that they just got sent to a different world. She seems fun though, so I have no complaints other than that.

Wonderful Start to What Seems Like a Promising Story

Reviewed at: Ch. 6 - Charmed, I'm sure.

The story hooks you right in, with the appearance of the purple (Spoiler) which actually reminded me of the old Royal Road classic Skyclad by a_man_in_black, in which something similar appeared when she was picking her class. Since we're only 6 chapters through, there seems to be no major extensions of word-building, however the groundwork is certainly being laid through dialogues of the characters other than the main character. The chaprers titles are also quite interesting, and the author's use fo first person is very entertaining. Characters, while interesting, have yet to be thoroughly explored and fleshed out, but that comes with length. My only complaint would be that the release rate seems inconsistent, but then again I have no room to talk. As of now, I'll rate the work a 4.5-Star, but once more chapters have been released, I'll put out a long advanced review of it.

Where did the author go????

Reviewed at: Ch. 6 - Charmed, I'm sure.

Great story!  I was really looking forward to seeing where it took the reader, but then.......crickets......nothing......no word from the author, no updates for a month.  I hope the author is ok and that all is well.

And so do you.

I always wanted an isekai where the protagonist is a catgirl. Well, I'm glad someone is attempting to make one.

Looking forward to what happens next.

This author knows how to dive right into the problem. There's a bunch of information being dumped on me, but that just makes me feel like I'm in the main character's head as she is overloaded by everything that's happening.

The profanity warning is definitely valid - it's a bit much for my taste; it's thrown around so much that it loses some of its punch. But that's just my personal opinion, and it doesn't seem to be getting in the way of my interest in reading more.

A lot of it is very interesting

Like the way everything has been shown

Rather than told

Also I do like the fact that she's being smart

The intro has got me hooked

Now just waiting for more

Lots of potential. Good for it's short current length.

I love this so far.

Sure, it's not perfect. The lack of descriptions of characters who are hinted to not be human makes it tricky for me, being a visual thinker, to follow along some of the nuances and keep track of scenes with multiple characters.

The story however, is delightful thus far, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Give it a read.

Needs character descriptions but overall excellent start

Reviewed at: Ch. 6 - Charmed, I'm sure.

I am interested, I especially like how you play with her having all these new instincts and just rolling with them instead of fighting them to try and be more human. However you lose half a star for now because of the lack of character descriptions, it's ok for Karl because you seem to be working up to an introduction but chapter 4 is an issue especially because you a lot of different characters talking at once and it's difficult to follow without any idea what any one looks like.i would suggest for ch 4 doing something like character1 description, dialogue, character 2/3 who are related in some way description, transition, final character descriptions, dialogue.

Overall good start and can't wait to read more
