Good start, lack-luster finish.

Reviewed at: Epilogue - General Forum I

This had a very good start for the game-part with the 'tutorial' section, but after arriving at the dwarf area things just dragged on. The second half needs some jerks for flavour, or some intrigue. As a true VR-game novel (as opposed to those where you are 'stuck in the game' etc.), the real-world snippets were more of an afterthought. Generally I prefer it when there is something more going on - whether that be the ethics of AI, gold-farming, real-world aggro getting mixed up into the game side, or whatever.

I don't know if the author will be continuing this, but I probably won't be.
