Really enjoying it so far

Early yet, only 6 chapters so far, but shows great promise. The blurb for the story spells it out pretty well. Alternating chapters with the POV of the two main characters. I'm assuming that they'll meet at some point in the distant future.

Can't speak to the plot much at this point, but the initial world building is well done. Characters and dialogue are realistic, and the writing style flows smoothly with no grammar or spelling errors.

Overall, solid start to a promising story. I've given it a follow.

A tale of humans and dragons

This is a rather premature, and thus story review, with the story only having near 100 pages at the moment of writing the review. I can say i have been pleasantly surprised at just how nice this story was to read overall.

Both main characters are quite well written, and im not sure which one i do like more. Both of them are just normal characters, that share the fact that their life got suddenly changed by a dragon entering it, even if the circumstances are different.

While they are already good, they arent much yet, but thats more due to the fact there have been only 7 chapters of them, and that further development is bound to come, for them and for the dragons.

The story and setting are rather standard in how they are written, not that it is a bad thing at all. Its all together a well constructed world, but in the end not actually special or original. As it is early in the story so far, its hard to have any actual opinion about the story and the world it takes place in. But for now i have no problems at all with it.

As said the story features two main characters, and their paths are very different from eachother. Its quite clear that Nerie's part of the story wont feature much action at all, rather more calm compared to Graith's story.

Near flawless grammar in the story,  noticed just one typo in the story so far, maybe there are some sentences that could be restructured for a easier reading, but it is not that much of a problem. With a extra editing round to remove any remaining flaws this story could be ready for amazon publishing.

This story is just easy and pleasing to read, it did read very smoothly, with no bumps at all. The pacing has been good so far, though its quite different between the two different types of chapters, one should rather consider those as two different stories, that will eventually come together in a future book.

The story is already finished on the author's site, and this is just the edited version with the vast majority of grammar errors fixed. There is book 2, the sequel of which not much has been written yet.

Just give it a try, its just a nice fantasy story of the MC's and their dragon companions, overall its promising and solid, with no clear problems.

Dragons are a human's best friend!

This story plumbs the depths of heartbreak, treads the winepress of fury, courts the peril of love, and soars with the wings of joy.

This story has brought forth the carefully measured and rationed praise of this lurker.

To elaborate, my browser has 40 tabs on RRL at most given times, for the past aproximately 3 years (I only made my account here after about a year of lurking). During that time, I have posted 9 reviews, this being the tenth.

This story is simply that good.

The story is very engaging and makes me want to read more. The style and grammar are well done. The characters have some depth and personality. LadyLuna21 has written an Excellent tale. I just want to break out my traveling gear to help Graith and Zel, I want to be a person with access to the Palace to watch Nerie and Kiriga learn and grow.

Heart-filled Tale about the Hardships of Being Bonded with a Dragon

TL;DR: Good story, good writing, great characters…and dragons, of course!

Style: I originally read a lot of this story on Reddit, before it had been edited and revised. It was good then, but after getting some feedback it improved a lot (especially the first few chapters). The writing style, especially choice of words, is reminiscent of Anne McCaffrey. It was also originally posted as two sperate stories that were occurring simultaneously, and I think that the combination has helped a lot in making it an interesting tale.

Story: Like any start, the first few paragraphs don’t begin as the most intriguing in the world, simply because it’s laying the base foundation, and the main male character is just that – normal and boring, with no interest in others (loves animals though). Or at least, he’s boring until you get to the end of the first chapter. From that point onward, the intrigue only grows, and the switching between characters really weaves an interesting story, with the female main character having her own challenges to deal with.

Grammar: Overall, the grammar is good. There are a few random mistakes here and there, like a missing period or comma, but that’s super easy to happen and is easily fixed. Honestly, even mentioning those it just nitpicking. There’s nothing that hinders the story at all.

Character: In my opinion, this is where the story really shines. You’re probably going to really like the kind of person Graith is, and Nerie is a lot of fun too. Not to mention the dragons! All of them have very endearing personalities, that will likely make you feel their pains and joys both. It is also important that character reactions and interactions be logical, and the author does a great job of that.
