Goblin Artist

Original HIATUS Action Adventure Fantasy Dungeon LitRPG Magic Portal Fantasy / Isekai Reincarnation

Even if I grow in strength and somehow avoid dying during a hunt or some moronic tribal war, how long can I really expect to live? Twenty years? Ten? Is this my fate? To struggle to survive every day, only to die after a dozen odd years?

Rhys awakes to find himself trapped in the body of a young goblin. In his previous life he was a successful artist, but now he faces a strange new world reduced to the most pitiful of dungeon dwelling monsters and with no survival skills to aid him.

His only hope comes from a single sentence he hears during the advancement ceremony: “Some attributes exceed the limits of the current race.”

Now his goal isn’t just to survive. He will push through the boundaries of his species to evolve further.

The path ahead is long and arduous. Especially for a young goblin trapped in a small dungeon of a dying town.

In order to succeed, he will have to forge bonds with those around him and rise to the challenges waiting for him. But will stepping further into the path of a monster really bring him closer to regaining his lost humanity?

Perfect English. No grammatical, spelling or punctuation mistakes. This story has a lot of potential and I recommend following it for future updates.

Reborn as a monster comics are a dime a dozen, but this one excels in realism, just going by the first chapter. Having monsters which aren't capable of communicating is a great idea. I especially liked the idea of teaching younger goblins how to speak.

Interesting goblin

Reviewed at: Chapter 2

A good start for a goblin story, I hope see soon the artist promised by the title. With two chapters, I can’t discern the protagonist’s future except for the synopsis.

This is well-written without apparent fault. I will follow with pleasure the development of the story.

This story is a lot of fun and really enjoying it, got to chapter 13 in one sitting I hope that it ends up continuing on after that it would be a shame for it to end before it really got going.

Fun and Hopefully Artistic in the Future

Reviewed at: Chapter 13: Erupting

I love a take on Art in Stories unfortunately only few are actually able to utilize it meaningfully. (e.g. Moonlight Sculptor, Dungeon Heart)I think this one has potential. It has a slower pace which i love in a beginning, allowing to follow and understand the protagonist and what makes him different from his peers. The Different Characters are introduced in a very natural way and their reactions and interactions are fun. Goblin Culture is slowly explored as well as how Monsters living in a Dungeon in a Symbiotic relationship. Really only downside is its currently on hiatus.
