A Beginner's Guide to Napping, Sunbathing, and Slaughtering Your Prey

A Beginner's Guide to Napping, Sunbathing, and Slaughtering Your Prey

by TigerCannon

Fang is a simple cat.

Fang likes napping in the sun.

Fang does not like being called Chairman Meow.

Fang likes his belly being scratched for precisely 17.329 seconds.

Fang does not like being punted between dimensions.

Fang likes hunting and killing defenseless wildlife.

Fang does not like mysterious blue boxes that appear out of thin air.

Fang is having a Very Bad Day.

A few things to note:

Fang is a cat soul in a cat body, and that's not going to change any time soon. No cat girl evolution or possessed puppet or any of that.

The slice of life tag is there for a reason. There is no epic tale here, only a cat doing cat things in a (hopefully) interesting setting.

The game elements are pretty light, mostly there for flavor, so don't expect a huge amount of crunch.

Nature is cruel, and cats are crueler than most.

Very interesting story of an adorable wandering cat and his humorous misadventures with his pet or pets depending on your viewpoint. Looking forward to future chapters. It took me a while to get around to leaving a review.

Humourous and targeted towards those familiar with our feline friends, it might not be to everyone’s taste but at the time of this review I feel the author’s description is highly accurate and all you need to see if it is for you or not.

Cats are perfect, and this one is no exception.

This is the best thing I have ever read, it combines the wonders of Cats, with a glorious progression mechanic.

The setting is light, but beatifuly detailed, and the characters are wonderful.

I have never seen a better depiction of a nonhuman mind, your characterization of Fang is flawless.

I love this novel. It's a good read when I want to have a laugh and sunbathe. Though I'm not sure this guide is really the best for me as a human. I guess it's more for the feline readers.

Cat is a good character.

Story is well done.

I saw no grammar issues.

Style is unique.

Overall, 5 stars :D

I have a huge love for black cats and Fang is one of them. I love reading anything that has animals, espically cats and gueina pigs. I read every chapter of this story and I love every single one. If you ever write a squeal to this story I will quickly read that one too. Keep up the good work.

I read all the chapters that are out right now (ch 11), and I still have no idea how I could possibly explain what this thing was. At all. It was 11 chapters of genius stupidity. This is not just for cat lovers. I am not really one, and still enjoyed it.

The story is kinda nothing so far. Sure, it's going somewhere the last few chapters, but if you want a good story, you should probably look elsewhere.

The grammar was good. Or at least the writing was good enough that I didn't even notice any grammar mistakes.

The characters are mixed. Fang, the MC is awesomely written. Especially since most of the story is told from his viewpoint. The human characters not as much. It's just hard caring for most of them. Though we are probably not really meant to.

As for the style, I left that for the last of these advanced review scores. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5, I would. This is the thing that dragged the fiction from a curiosity to something unique and great.

Such a pleasant ode to our Feline Masters!

Reviewed at: 11: The Fine Art of Arm-Jacking

Maybe one or two iffy spots, but what do you expect, the author is simply not a cat! Stupid two-legs...

The story is marvelous, truly getting into what it means to be the superior species. All Hail Fang Imperatoris!

The grammar is pleasingly accurate. Few errors were worthy of note.

The characters at this point, chapter 11, are well planned and presented. Other than Chairman Meow, err, Fang... none have been given a lot of detail but more than enough to give a sold feeling.

A rollicking good time!

The only thing I can think to complain about is the infrequent updates, but considering where im reading this, slow updates are pretty much par for the course.

This is great, pure bliss. It makes me laugh and keeps me entertained, trying to guess what's going to happen, which I always fail to do correctly.

I highly enjoy and highly recommend this fiction to all.

As of chapter 11

The author of this story purrfectly captures the mind of a cat. Humans are pets/slaves to their cat overloads.

I hope that this story doesn't change its core values as it progresses and I can't wait to see how the author develops Fang's character.

Fellow readers should read this novel and enjoy Fang to the fullest
