On the world of Marconen, your first Break determines the trajectory of your life. Calvin chose magic. Without proper schooling or a mentor, the boy is dragged by the whims of fate across the face of the planet, blending together different schools of magic and powerful abilities to create something new.

But there's a deeper secret behind his success. Why was he born an exile from his country? Why is his System so strange, and why does it keep talking to him?

And as the march of time continues, something evil grows in power across the ocean.

The story is ok. It was better before the story went towards the harem route. Feels like the harem route is being forced and the women are acting unrealistic, and everything is turning into a big wankfest. If you like harems, then you'll like this story.

Worth taking the time to read

Reviewed at: Chapter 46: Knick-Knack

One of the few stories that I subscribed to patreon for. Just know that I am way ahead of the RR readers. I see a lot of low scores because they think this is a Harem story. If so it hasn't happened yet and it doesn't look like it will. There are interests, but I wouldn't call them a Harem. Not sure what I would call them.

The system is one of the better ones I have seen and it has an actual explanation on how it came about. The MC can be both funny and cold blooded. He is a schemer which sometimes backfires. He is OP but still gets his ass handed to him at times which is refreshing. The world building is excellent and the scope keeps getting wider. I look forward to each update to see what kind of trouble the MC and those around him will get into.

Macronomicon and Ace Arriande have similar problems

Reviewed at: Chapter 34: Make me a Sammich

In that they both have a mildly good story with decent (in this story's case pretty good) systems bogged down by the author's fetishes and excessive amounts of horniness. Domination for Macro and monster girls for ace.

an excerpt from ch168, two days after Father's Day....

Reviewed at: Chapter 169: Mind Break

Quote from chapter168, posted two days after fathers day 2020:

"Right there, at their most excellent moment together, Carem had cradled the old man’s head and looked into his eyes, grinning as the coppery blood flowed out of his mouth, his father’s and his own.

This is what you made. You see?

As he cradled the man’s head, something tensed in Carem’s fingertips, as something unfamiliar, but undeniably pleasurable ground its way out of his fingers, forcing its way into his father’s skull.

Carem didn’t know it at the time, but it felt like molten climax, like the most satisfying lovemaking that forced it’s way out of the shaft. As if each of his fingers had turned into a cock and he was currently raping his father’s brain.

Which wasn’t too far off."

-end quote

...look your (insert family relationship here) in the eye and say "i enjoyed reading this fiction today, you should too". See how that goes. The story steadily gets worse and worse, introducing stuff like this. Im saving you time.

Good beginning, bad continuation.

Reviewed at: Chapter 29: Guarplay

The sorry started out really good, but then recently, around chapter 24, it really fell in quality. The author should have focused on the story and had a good idea for world building but they feel for a trap that a lot of amateur authors fall for and tried to make this a harem story. These stories can be well written but it's very hard to pull off and the author just doesn't have the talent. They also decided to make more references to things that happen IRL and it sort of broke my immersion into the story along with the unrealistic way two girls act to get his attention/love. I reality liked the beginning of the story and it had allot of potential but was ruined. I believe part of reason why the story got worse may have been due to him showing polls for his patron donators to decide where the story went and that's all I can say for this story. It has a great start, but a very poor continuation.

great story other then the int drops that happens from time to time

Reviewed at: Chapter 120: Setting the Stage

it is a great story if you can look past that most of the story follows the MC where everyone around him losses any sense of inteligence into the levcel of retarded every time the story needs it same with the MC and remember to ad more naive then a todler.

the story started with great promise but after the simple drop in intelligence by everyone on the MC's side just to progress the story just because, instead of taking the long rute out of most of those times everyone losses their int.
example why would anyone trust a former enemy with survialance that dictats every persons life in the MC's party with said party having a few high level military people in it, just makes no sense, add to that the way the enemies get under him is by ways the MC has used himself a few times

The author got a gazillion of imagination

Reviewed at: Chapter 118: Grinding

The Wizard-King to be will reach that state by relying on skills and mutations that are so unthinkable for my standard (hopefully) human mind. It's been a blast of a journey and nowhere near the end.

The abilities he's got and the choices the author gave us are all super interesting. Oh, almost forgot, they're funny too.

MC's char is skilfully written; his princesses also have very charming and distinctive characters. The rest of supporting characters also give various colors to the story.

Great work author, keep it up!

As far as harem game lit goes this story is actually really well written and laid out. The stats are both non complicated and interesting which is key to LITRPG. The character is compelling and the interactions are amusing, while the harem bits are actually believable and not absurdly unrealistic, as is seemingly tradition among harem/reverse harem authors. All in all it has been a really good story and worth a read.

Coming of age, mysterious past, childhood tragedy.

Now that that is done, read about a guy forced from the circumstances to dip is d**k here and there .... and there too. For the initiated to the genre, no lack of soapland girls either.

Gotta` catch them all.

An awesome story with a haunted past

Reviewed at: Chapter 73: Always Bring a Rubber

So I binged this entire story in a day, and am now up to date, and I'll be honest all the other reviews that read this and say it's a harem are an utter crock of dung. There are two main female leads who get along Great and a female character bound to the MC that he hasn't even touched. If anything it's a love triangle not a harem and it's not like it's the male on top. It's clearly implied that the two female leads would be just as happy with each other than the Mc.
Now after that I'd like to explain, after reading this I went to the authors fictions page to see if he had written anything else, turns out he had and there was a less than desirable plot twist after chapter 100 that stepped on many tails. Now my theory is a that lot of the less than stellar reviews for this novel stem from internet warriors that wanna shit on that novel by downgrading this one. Well I haven't read his other story yet but from what many of the reviews said, the author read most of if not all of them and took the criticisms to make this novel and he's done it brilliantly, so I just wanna say kudos to the author for not giving up in the face of all the negativity and to keep writing because you're a hero man.
